On the ring, seeing Goku return to his base form, Toppo frowned in confusion.
"Son Goku, are you surrendering already?"
"Surrender? No way!" Goku laughed. "I've got to show All-Chan all of a Saiyan's transformations first."
He slipped into a basic stance and started explaining seriously.
"This is a Saiyan's most common form. In this state, there's no boosted power or special abilities."
As soon as he finished speaking, Goku tapped the ground with his toes and lunged forward, driving a straight punch right at Toppo.
Toppo snorted. His huge fra tilted ever so slightly as he casually sidestepped.
"Again!"
Goku imdiately followed up with a whistling roundhouse kick.
"Too weak, Son Goku!"
This ti, Toppo didn't bother dodging. He took the kick head-on, then reached out and grabbed for Goku's shoulder.
Goku raised his arm to block, using the rebound to push himself backward. The instant his feet touched down, he let his ki explode.
"This is Super Saiyan!"
Boom!
The tiles beneath his feet shattered as Goku shot forward like a streak of golden light, drilling straight toward his opponent.
Just as the two were about to collide, Toppo gave a cold snort.
"Justice… Lock-On!"
"He vanished!?"
Goku's pupils shrank.
Up on the viewing platforms, the spectators couldn't help but gasp.
"Toppo's so fast! How can soone that huge move like that?!"
The very next second, Toppo's figure appeared overhead. Both feet slamd down onto Goku's shoulders.
"Let show you my…"
"Justice Tornado!"
Toppo clamped Goku's head between his ankles and spun like a drill.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
The pair whirled upward like a spinning top, whipping up countless cyclones around them.
Boom!
With a muffled crash, Goku's body was smashed into one corner of the arena, blowing it apart.
"How's that? This is the power of justice."
Toppo hovered in midair, looking down at Goku from above.
Goku flipped to his feet, baring his white teeth in a fearless grin.
"It'll take a lot more than that to beat . I've still got three more transformations!"
"We Saiyans transform by building up energy and anger. In the Super Saiyan state, both power and speed increase dramatically."
"And the hair turns this golden color, while the eyes beco green."
Toppo snorted.
"No matter how many tis you transform, the result will be the sa. If you don't want to lose too badly, bring out your strongest form already."
"So impatient to see my stronger forms, huh? In that case…"
"Ha ah!"
Golden ki roared skyward like jet exhaust. The broken tiles trembled and floated into the air.
Crackle… crackle…
The fierce aura rubbed against the air, arcs of lightning dancing around Goku's body.
"This is a form beyond Super Saiyan Super Saiyan Two! I'm sure even you can tell that more than just my hair has changed, right?"
"Interesting," Toppo replied, unimpressed. "But a transformation like that still isn't enough to make take you seriously."
He raised his right hand and pointed all five fingers at Goku.
"Justice Flash!"
In an instant, countless red ki blasts sprayed from his fingertips, pouring toward Goku like a storm of bullets.
Faced with the barrage, Goku didn't flinch.
Brilliant blue light flared between his palms as he shouted,
"Kaha HA!"
A massive blue beam erupted from his hands, sweeping forward, swallowing and erasing every last red ki blast.
Toppo's eyes narrowed.
"I'll admit you have so skill. But I'm already tired of this little warm-up. My next move… will end this battle completely."
He stepped forward. The air humd and vibrated as his body suddenly vanished from sight.
An instant later, he appeared behind Goku and twisted Goku's right arm up and back in an iron grip.
"Grr aaah!"
Goku cried out in pain, straining with all his might.
But Toppo's hand might as well have been a tal clamp. He had Goku locked tight, giving him no chance of escape at all.
On Universe 7's stand, Beerus' face was etched with worry.
"Didn't think that guy was this good at joint locks. He's trying to wrench Goku's shoulder out of its socket!"
"If he loses the use of one arm, the rest of the fight will be decided before it even starts," Whis comnted calmly.
"Hmph! Son Goku isn't going to lose to a trick like that."
"Goku! Quit wasting ti and use your strongest transformation already!"
Piccolo and the Great King really did understand Goku well.
There were still forms he hadn't shown yet, but he just refused to use them. Yeah. Because that's how he plays.
Then, right when everyone is on the verge of despair, that's when he suddenly goes all out or pops a brand-new form.
Levos had wanted to roast Goku's battle pattern for a long ti.
Of course, compared to Goku, the proud prince was even worse in this regard more reckless, plus a whole extra layer of arrogance, responsible for at least half of the legendary "face-slapping monts" in Dragon Ball history.
While those who didn't really understand Goku like Zeno or Beerus were still worrying about him…
A blinding golden light suddenly burst out from the arena.
"Haaa aaah!"
Goku's ki detonated as he transford into Super Saiyan Three, blasting Toppo away.
"This form is Super Saiyan Three!"
Rumble, rumble, rumble
The ground shook. Furious winds howled. The entire arena seed on the verge of collapsing under the weight of his aura.
"His eyebrows disappeared, and his hair got longer?" Cabba muttered, almost unable to believe his eyes. "That's… Super Saiyan… Three?"
On Universe 6's stand, all three Saiyans were stunned.
"As expected of our universe's greatest rival!" Caulifla's whole face was lit with excitent.
"That guy looks seriously strong! Super Saiyan Two already shocked , but to think there's a transformation even stronger than that… I have to learn it!"
"Tch." Champa sniffed. "The forms you lot have now are stronger than that anyway. You've already got the power of gods."
"Even so," Vados reminded gently, "mortal bodies do have a limit to their durability. But at the level of Super Saiyan Four, they might truly rival the gods physically."
Champa bared his teeth.
"Fine, fine. It's not like I'd be surprised by sothing like that anymore. Levos already pulled it off. But…"
He paused, irritated.
"To think that brat still had sothing up his sleeve he actually went and cooked up another 'Super Saiyan Four'. Too sneaky, too shaless!"
Vados giggled.
"Then we'll just have to be all the more careful. Counting Mister Levos, Universe 7 also has three Saiyan contestants."
Staring at the figure on the ring with golden hair trailing down his back, the Saiyans of Universe 6 each had their own thoughts.
Cabba's eyes were filled with longing.
"I never imagined we Saiyans had so many stages of transformation. I really want to find a teacher and learn them all."
"Senpai, I've learned a lot this ti," Kale said, her expression suddenly firm. "I'll definitely work hard and get stronger so I can protect you."
"Who needs your protection, Kale? Protecting my junior is my job." Caulifla's confidence was overflowing. "I'm going to be the first in our universe to reach Super Saiyan Four!"
"But…" Cabba sounded unsure. "Will our transformations really be stronger than Super Saiyan Four?"
"Don't stress, Cabba," Caulifla said, completely casual. "Just pay attention and watch carefully. We'll figure out that form's secrets in no ti…"
