Helles's voice trembled as she raised an objection. "N… no. I don't trust you. Why do we all have to go into your tail at once? Can't we do it one by one?"
"Yeah!" soone shouted. "You brat, you've definitely got a sche!"
Levos's expression turned cold as he gave his reason. "Everyone, I'm in a hurry to get back to Universe 7. I don't want to waste ti here."
Then, to ease their suspicions, Levos had the Cell Juniors drag the Supre Kais over to him.
"If you don't feel safe, I'll use them to demonstrate."
With that, all the giant tails opened at once, blotting out the nine Supre Kais each of them terrified out of their minds.
"Why do you get to use us as a demonstration?!""We're so weak there's nothing for you to absorb anyway…""D-don't co any closer!" Supre Kai Rō nearly lost his mind.
Levos didn't budge. He absorbed them all into his tails.
Now the Gods of Destruction didn't dare make a single reckless move. Every one of them stared tensely at those writhing tails.
Suddenly, the halo behind Levos erupted with dazzling radiance.
He imdiately sank his mind inward, checking the changes in his body.
"Supre Kais may be weak, but they really are different… Their power of creation is truly sothing."
Just one quick "sip," purely to get a taste, and Levos had already gained quite a bit.
He wanted to keep pondering it, but the Supre Kais couldn't endure it. In less than a mont, they would vanish completely dead.
Fully absorbing them would patch the shortcomings of his divine form, but that wasn't Levos's goal.
He imdiately expelled the nine Supre Kais, all of them barely clinging to life.
The Gods of Destruction rushed to check their condition.
Each Supre Kai looked drained and listless, utterly weakened. Their divine energy was wiped clean but at least they were alive.
That alone eased the gods' hearts a little.
Divine energy could be recovered through training. It would take ti and hard work, sure, but with their long lifespans, that wasn't a big deal.
And the whole process really was short barely ten seconds.
"He wouldn't dare pull anything.""Our power is countless tis that of a Supre Kai, and our energy is practically endless.""He'll absorb for a mont and then realize he can't handle it!"
The Gods of Destruction exchanged words in secret, then fixed their eyes on Levos.
"We agreed beforehand once you absorb us, you must imdiately release all the Supre Kais!"
"Fine." Levos agreed without hesitation.
"Hmph! No one trusts your empty promise. We need soone to guarantee it!"
"So you're stalling?" Levos understood at once, his gaze turning icy. "I don't have a guarantor. If you refuse, then you can all go die."
As his words fell, the Cell Juniors gathered ki blasts in both palms and pressed them right up against the Supre Kais.
"Hey no, calm down!""Don't do it!""Wait !" Sidra hurriedly explained, realizing Levos had misunderstood. "We're not stalling at all."
"This is a major matter. We just want a guarantee."
As he spoke, everyone's eyes slid toward Chronoa.
Chronoa had been repairing the shattered universe while sneaking glances at the situation on Levos's side. Seeing that the gods needed her, she could only pause her work.
"Now you rember I exist?" Chronoa puffed her cheeks. "This has nothing to do with !"
"Chronoa, have you forgotten your duties? You were the one trying to persuade us earlier…"
The boorang hit them right in the face. The gods were embarrassed, but it was their only hope of getting out alive.
Chronoa shot them a glare, then looked at Levos.
"Will you really keep your word and release the Supre Kais?"
"Of course." Levos answered instantly.
"Absorbing a God of Destruction only you would even dare to think of it." Chronoa rolled her eyes at him, then scolded, "Did you forget last ti you almost got blown apart by too much energy? Do you have any idea how close you were to dying? I want nothing to do with sothing that dangerous!"
"I haven't forgotten. That was truly the closest I've ever co to death…" Levos sighed.
"There was sothing like that?" The Gods of Destruction brightened, as if a new idea had clicked into place.
"Supre Kai of Ti!" they hurriedly insisted. "It's not dangerous! We can let him absorb only a tiny bit absolutely no more!"
"For the sake of all universes, please don't refuse!"
"We're volunteering to be absorbed. We just want to end this grudge as soon as possible."
"Just stand as our guarantor!"
Chronoa was stunned. Were their brains smashed loose?
A full one-eighty in attitude now they were practically begging to be absorbed.
Chronoa couldn't understand it, and in the end, she dumped all bla onto Levos.
She had never seen soone so sly and treacherous that he could twist things into sothing this absurd.
Inside the Warp Cube
Goku scratched his head, completely lost.
Frieza and Piccolo sighed over and over.
Vados, anwhile, wore an oddly amused smile. "Oh my, I didn't expect things to beco this entertaining. Levos really does act in ways that constantly surprise people…"
Under the gods' relentless pleading, Chronoa reluctantly agreed to guarantee it.
"You'd better learn your lesson and do your jobs properly from now on."
"Sure, sure!""Hurry and start!"
The Gods of Destruction looked downright eager.
"Uh…" Chronoa's suspicion flared. "Shouldn't we do it one at a ti? That's safer. If he really gets blown apart, the whole universe will suffer "
Before she could finish, Sidra cut her off.
"No, no! Levos is in a hurry. Absorb us all together. He said he won't take much, and we believe him!"
Sidra sounded unbelievably considerate.
That only made Chronoa more suspicious. Her instincts scread that these guys were planning sothing again, and she stole a glance at Levos.
But he really did look like he was rushing, and he didn't seem the least bit wary.
He didn't even give her a chance to keep arguing. With a single sweep of his tail
He instantly wrapped the Gods of Destruction and dragged them into his tails.
"Before you do sothing this dangerous, can't you think it through properly?!" Chronoa stomped in frustration.
In the end, she could only sigh helplessly. "Now release the Supre Kais, please."
Levos nodded and signaled the Cell Juniors to let them go.
Freed at last, the Supre Kais looked like they were about to burst into tears. One after another, they imdiately used teleportation to escape.
The Supre Kai of Universe 4, Kuru, didn't dare stay in his own universe. He grabbed Supre Kai Rō and fled straight to Universe 9.
Chronoa watched the scene, utterly speechless. She genuinely couldn't understand why these people had provoked Levos in the first place.
Letting out a heavy sigh, Chronoa studied Levos closely only to find him standing there, frozen, unmoving for a long ti.
"Hey… are you alright?"
A brief silence.
Then Levos suddenly spoke.
"Bad this is bad! I'm really about to burst!"
