Now reading: Chapter 67 67: Captain Ginyu Can’t Swap Bodies with Cell?! from Dragon Ball: I Became Cell in a Doomed Future, a Action novel by theon.

Levos was stunned.

Then in a flash, he wriggled free from Ginyu's grasp and leapt out of his palm.

Damn it! Moving around like this is so awkward!

Levos was practically fuming with rage, wanting nothing more than to stomp Ginyu's face in with his froggy feet!

Wait.

A chilling thought struck him.

If he hard Ginyu now, wouldn't that be the sa as injuring his own body?

How frustrating.

Ginyu stealing his body had completely ruined all his plans.

With the Kaioken tis twenty, that body had at least Super Saiyan 3-level power. He had finally beco a main fighter in the team, only to lose his body in a sneak attack.

"I let my guard down… that bastard Ginyu caught off guard!"

Fuming, Levos leapt back onto Ginyu's face, grabbed his mouth, and glared into his own eyes, muttering over and over,

"Swap!"

"Change!"

"Orange juice!"

Bulma had been anxiously watching from the side.

But when she saw the frog spinning in circles and muttering nonsense, she couldn't help but chuckle.

"Levos, I totally, completely understand how you're feeling right now, but calm down a bit."

"Let's get out of here first."

She gently picked up frog-Levos and slung Levos's body over her shoulder, flying away from the spaceship at top speed.

Only when they were far from Frieza's massive starship and safely in open space did Bulma let out a long breath of relief.

"Phew… finally escaped that hellhole," she muttered, exhaling deeply.

She glanced down at the frog in her hand.

Frog-Levos was still wearing an angry expression, clearly unwilling to accept reality.

"Damn it, Ginyu! Taking over my body like that... how low can you get!" Levos raged.

He didn't even want to imagine what could've happened if Bulma hadn't been with him. Things might have gone completely off the rails.

Still, there was so comfort in her presence. "Good thing you insisted on coming… otherwise…"

"So stop acting tough already. Sotis, you should let help you." Bulma placed Levos gently on the ground and spoke with rare seriousness.

Levos froze slightly at her words.

Curious, he asked, "Bulma, how did you realize Ginyu had taken over my body?"

After all, she hadn't witnessed the body swap firsthand.

And Ginyu had even mimicked Levos's usual tone and mannerisms when speaking.

"I guessed," Bulma replied with a sly smile. "Maybe it's just because I've spent so much ti with you. I've gotten used to everything about you."

Levos was taken aback. It took a mont before the aning sank in.

His fury softened.

He began recalling everything they'd been through together.

In the Hyperbolic Ti Chamber, they'd argued endlessly over scientific theories.

During sparring sessions, they fought so hard for victory, they nearly broke off ties more than once.

Especially the ti when she questioned his background and realized he had lied. She'd been absolutely furious.

They bickered, fought, and mocked each other constantly...

But there were always warm monts hidden in between.

And now, he was a damn frog.

All because of Ginyu.

Levos leapt back onto Ginyu's face. "Bulma! Wake him up!"

Bulma pressed a button on the remote.

Monts later, the unconscious Ginyu slowly ca to.

He couldn't move, but he could open his eyes and speak.

"Why can't I move? What did you do to , you crazy woman?!"

Bulma didn't respond. She was waiting on Levos's next move.

"Captain Ginyu," Levos said flatly, "please swap our bodies back."

"You traitor!" Ginyu snarled. "I had such high hopes for you, Levos! And this is how you repay ?!"

"You stole my body, and you're calling the traitor?" Levos growled. "If you won't swap back, I'll kill you right now."

Ginyu sneered. "You idiot. That's your body. Kill , and you'll be stuck as a frog forever."

Levos was speechless.

The bastard had him right where he wanted.

Seeing Levos hesitate, Ginyu grew bolder.

"What now? Hahahahaha! You don't have the guts to hurt your own body, and if you kill , you'll croak your way through life!"

"So here's my offer. Let go. Once I find a better body, maybe I'll give yours back."

Levos was furious. "You'll never be able to fully unleash the strength of that body. Frieza will see through you and toss you aside!"

"Hmph. My loyalty to Lord Frieza is unquestionable. He knows that. Besides, I'm part of his grand plan, far more valuable than you ever were."

Levos was at a complete loss.

But just then, the ground trembled violently.

Levos stumbled and landed on his back, his face pale as he looked toward the sky.

A massive dark-purple energy sphere, brighter than the sun, floated above a nearby city.

The entire sky had been painted violet.

The sphere radiated a ferocious energy, enough to wipe out everything.

Cell Max, left unchecked, was preparing to destroy the planet.

Levos's heart clenched. He felt a chill spread across his tiny amphibian body.

That pressure. He had never experienced anything so terrifying.

If no one stopped it, Cell Max's blast would erase every living thing on Earth.

"Damn it! Ginyu!" Levos leapt onto Ginyu's face and twisted his head. "Look! That's the body you should be swapping into!"

Even Ginyu looked shaken. "W-What kind of monster is that?! No way sothing like that exists on Earth!"

The sphere inched lower, closer to destruction.

"Use your ability!" Levos shouted. "Hurry and activate it! Swap with that thing!"

"It's too far," Ginyu said, panic rising in his voice. "I need direct eye contact to activate the swap…"

Desperation filled Levos.

"Then switch back with ! I can Instant Transmission you right in front of him!"

"No way!" Ginyu refused imdiately. "I'd rather die than beco a frog again!"

Levos tried again and again, but Ginyu stood firm. The frog sagged in defeat.

"Then you can die with us," he muttered bitterly.

Zzzzt.

A sudden electric crackle drew Levos's attention.

He looked down.

Ginyu had passed out again.

"Levos," Bulma said calmly, "don't give up until the very end. Besides, we still have the Dragon Balls."

That one sentence snapped Levos back to his senses.

He had fallen into a ntal trap.

He didn't need Ginyu to return his body.

He just needed Shenron to do it.

Ginyu's ambush had caught him off guard, breaking his ntal rhythm. But now, clarity was returning.

Levos's eyes sharpened.

"Bulma, take everything off Ginyu's body now."
