For a mont, Babidi's face was frozen in shock. Then his expression twisted into uncontrollable rage.
"Damn it, damn it, damn it! Frieza, I order you to kill that annoying frog right now!"
A flicker of pain crossed Frieza's face. He clutched his temples, but his expression quickly returned to normal.
The tyrant's lips curled into a faint smirk. "You want to follow orders?"
Swish!
His figure blurred, and in the next instant, his fist punched straight through Babidi's chest.
"Wh-What?!"
Babidi's eyes bulged in disbelief as he stared at the subordinate who had just betrayed him.
Just then, King Cold let out a furious roar and charged toward Frieza.
Frieza quickly withdrew, raising a hand and firing a flurry of energy beams from his fingertips.
Zzzzz! Zzzzz! Zzzzz! Zzzzz! Zzzzz!
The beams pierced through Babidi's body, sending him tumbling through the air like a broken kite.
"M-Majin Buu! Help !"
Clinging to life with the aid of a protective barrier, Babidi cried out desperately for salvation.
Majin Buu appeared in a flash beside him, wearing an unusually cheerful grin.
Smack!
In the blink of an eye, Majin Buu's hand clamped over most of Babidi's head from the front.
"I hate you!" Buu squinted his eyes, the smile on his face turning eerily twisted. "Can't chant a sealing spell without a mouth, right? Hee hee!"
Babidi's mouth was completely covered, and his eyes were filled with pure terror.
He squird and struggled with all his might, but it was useless.
"Turn into a cookie!"
Zzzzzzzz.
To the shock of everyone watching, Babidi's body transford into a giant cookie right before their eyes.
Crunch! Crunch!
Majin Buu stuffed the entire thing into his mouth and began munching away, delighted.
Frieza's eye twitched slightly at the sight.
Just then, the dark magic marks on the foreheads of Frieza, King Cold, and the others shattered and vanished without a trace.
"Ohohohoho…" Frieza let out a satisfied laugh. "My power has increased yet again!"
anwhile, the battle between Ginyu and Cooler ca to a complete halt.
"Lord Cooler, please forgive my earlier offense!" Ginyu bowed respectfully toward his forr commander.
Cooler snorted coldly, crossing his arms as he hovered silently in the air.
After offering his apology, Ginyu flew to Frieza's side, eyes shimring with tears.
"Lord Frieza, I can finally serve you once more!"
Frieza gave a small nod, his voice calm. "You've suffered long enough, Captain Ginyu. Life on Earth must've been difficult."
"As long as it's for you, my lord, I'd endure anything!" Ginyu declared with fiery devotion.
Frieza was about to offer a few more words of appreciation when Ginyu struck a dramatic pose and declared with full seriousness, "My lord, I've been waiting years to show you the dance routine I've developed!"
Frieza's eye twitched again. "I… look forward to it, Captain Ginyu."
Ginyu's spirit surged, elated beyond asure. "Please follow , Lord Frieza!"
The city of West City had long since vanished. What remained was a vast lake of molten lava, hundreds of ters below the scorched earth.
Scorching heat swirled in the air. Were it not for Bulma's ki shield, Levos would have already been roasted into a dried frog.
The tide of battle had taken a dramatic turn.
Babidi, who had just ascended to the height of his power and ambition to dominate the universe, had perished before he could even realize that dream.
Now, it was Frieza's faction that had benefited the most from all this.
Frieza and King Cold had not only fully recovered their stamina. They had grown significantly stronger.
Even Ginyu, who currently inhabited the body of the Perfect Cell Max, had experienced a notable power boost.
They were now, undeniably, the strongest force on Earth.
Destroying the planet would be as easy as lifting a finger.
Using the Kai as a relay, Levos secretly contacted Dende and instructed him to prepare the Dragon Balls at a mont's notice.
As Ginyu finished speaking, Frieza's expression turned odd. He quickly changed the subject.
"Captain Ginyu, hold that thought. I have sothing to take care of first."
"Yes, my lord!" Ginyu stood tall, anticipation shining in his eyes.
Frieza turned to Majin Buu and spoke with uncharacteristic politeness.
"Mr. Buu, I would like to formally invite you to join my army. What do you think?"
Majin Buu, rubbing his belly with contentnt, tilted his head in confusion. "Will there be yummy food?"
Frieza froze for a second, then smiled warmly. "We do have so fine chefs in our ranks."
Buu's eyes curved into crescent moons as he clapped his hands. "Yay! Yummy food! Yummy food!"
With that, he trotted happily after Frieza.
King Cold frowned slightly.
"Frieza, are we still sticking to the original plan?"
The plan had originally been for Ginyu to steal Majin Buu's body.
But with Cell Max's sudden appearance, the situation had evolved into sothing very different.
Frieza's eyes narrowed. "Let's observe for a few days first."
Then his gaze turned cold as he scanned the remaining Earth warriors.
"Where is Son Goku?"
The oppressive force of his ki swept across the battlefield like a mountain crashing down.
Any fragile alliance had now fully dissolved.
Piccolo stepped forward. "Frieza! If you want to see Goku, you'll have to wait twenty more minutes!"
A glint of malice flickered in Frieza's eyes as he turned toward Gotenks and Gohan.
"So these are the warriors supposedly close to my level? What a joke."
Gotenks's face turned red. "Just wait! Once I complete my fusion, I'll show you what a real fighter can do!"
Frieza's smirk widened coldly. "Excellent. I've waited so many years to exact my revenge on Son Goku. What's twenty more minutes?"
Cooler spoke up in a frosty tone. "Frieza, you're still so naive. Don't bla if you fall at the hands of these Saiyans again."
"I support Frieza," King Cold added grimly. "Our family must erase this humiliation. You Earthlings better stay put. If that Goku doesn't show up in twenty minutes, we'll kill every last one of you."
The Earth warriors hovered silently in midair, fists clenched.
But Levos saw opportunity in the chaos.
He imdiately used the Kai link to alert Gotenks. As soon as the fusion tir ended, they were to transfer both allies and the Dragon Balls to King Kai's planet.
That way, even if Earth was destroyed, they could still use the Dragon Balls to bring it back.
Once Frieza finished settling everything, Ginyu made his way to the scorched battlefield's edge.
The ruins of the city had vanished, replaced by barren charred wasteland.
Ginyu's voice rang out, full of excitent.
"Lord Frieza, please allow to present… my dance!"
