Vampa.
A rciless sun blazed overhead, yellow sand billowed across the land, and violent storms raged without pause—this planet's environnt was nothing short of brutal.
The temperature outside hovered around 60 degrees Celsius, yet inside a dark cavern lay a father and his young son.
Both wore the iconic battle armor of the Frieza Force, each with a Saiyan tail wrapped around their waist.
"Damn King Vegeta… the mont I get off this cursed planet will be the mont you die!"
Paragus's voice was coarse and cracked.
At this point in ti, Paragus still looked like a middle-aged man—far from the much older appearance he had in the ani.
His lips were split from dehydration, dry and cracked like sun-baked earth.
His eyes were deeply sunken, his eyeballs dull and coated as though covered in dust.
Beside him lay a small child.
Even after hearing his father's angry rant, the boy showed no reaction at all.
Or rather—ever since he could understand words, he had heard such curses every single day.
By now, it was simply part of his world.
"Broly, go bring a beast egg to quench my thirst!"
"Yes, Father."
Little Broly's expression remained completely flat—no fear, no resentnt, just calm numbness.
He stood and walked toward the mouth of the cave.
On this planet, the only edible things were beast corpses… and their eggs.
But their eggs weren't nearby—they were 1,000 kiloters away, deep inside the beasts' nest.
Broly reached the entrance of the cave.
Outside, the scorching sun baked the land. The air shimred at over 60 degrees, the heatwaves warping the very space around him.
Broly only frowned slightly.
He then rose into the air and shot off like a streak of light toward the nest a thousand kiloters away.
Through the brutal heat, Broly entered a massive beast den.
The mont he appeared, every spider-like monster in the nest sensed him.
"ROOOOAR!!"
All of the creatures lunged at once.
Broly charged straight into them.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Within monts—swift, rough, unrefined—Broly tore through every monster in the cavern.
His control over his own power was crude and violent, but it was clear he had learned so basic combat technique.
Soone must have taught him.
Broly was just about to gather several beast corpses and so eggs when
Whoosh.
A figure appeared beside him.
It was Gran.
Gran landed lightly, his eyes imdiately locking onto Broly.
Just as he suspected
The imnse surge of ki he sensed earlier had indeed co from this small child.
In terms of battle power, this little guy had already reached 700,000–800,000.
Broly and Son Goku were the sa age… yet right now, Goku had only a bit over twenty.
The gap was astronomical.
Truly worthy of the title—Legendary Saiyan.
Inside the cavern, the two—one big, one small—simply stared at each other in silence.
In Broly's eyes, the newcor looked strange, but also clearly different from the monsters.
He resembled Broly himself.
So…
Could this be one of those "people" Father always cursed about?
"You… who are you?"
Broly couldn't hold back his curiosity.
His speech was halting, like soone who had barely spoken to another person in years.
"My na is Gran. I'm one of your people. I've co to take you back."
Gran didn't hide his purpose.
He had thought about Broly before—back when Whis ntioned the Saiyan ancestor Odys.
The fact that Broly was the Legendary Saiyan, combined with the Grand Priest's evaluation, made it clear how terrifying his potential truly was.
But back then, Broly was too young—and Gran himself had to train—so he had no ti to deal with this monstrous clansman.
But now?
Broly was Goku's age, old enough to understand.
It was ti to bring him back.
The reason was simple
Other universes were raising their own candidates for the Destroyer God selection—almost like nurturing venomous insects in a jar.
If a future Tournant of Power really happened…
Then wouldn't Universe 7 end up fighting against a lineup made entirely of Destroyer-God-tier monsters?
How would that be fair?!
Besides…
Having a Legendary Saiyan as a little brother?
That sounded pretty damn cool.
Gran had already planned out the future lineup for the Tournant of Power
Broly, Frieza, Majin Buu, Goku…
"My people? Back?" Broly repeated softly.
"Back to Father?"
"No." Gran shook his head.
"I'm taking you to the Kaioshin Realm. Your body is terrifying, but your weaknesses are equally fatal."
"There's an old man in the Kaioshin Realm—an expert at studying racial bloodlines. He might be able to fix what's wrong with you."
The Grand Priest had said: If sothing exists, it exists for a reason.
Who could say Broly's berserk state was truly "wrong"?
But if soone could remove his weaknesses
Then this little brother would beco unimaginably powerful.
"I don't really understand… but why don't you co back with to Father?" Broly replied, speaking more smoothly now.
"To et Paragus?"
Gran's lips curled.
He rembered very clearly
Paragus hated King Vegeta and Vegeta's bloodline with a passion.
"Alright. Let's go et your father."
