Gran hovered, still carrying a small figure in his arms.
The little one's clothes were tattered, and his wounds were plainly visible.
But since he had passed out, his previously bulging muscles had reverted to their normal state, and his ferocious, savage expression had cald.
Little Broly's round face looked innocent and soft. Gran tossed him gently into the starry void and pinched his cheek playfully.
Not bad—he felt just right.
Gran then pulled a Senzu Bean from his pocket and fed it to Broly. Once the boy swallowed it,
BOOM!
A surge of energy erupted from him, blasting the surrounding planetary debris countless distances away.
"Has his base power increased again?"
Gran couldn't help but marvel internally.
From his readings, Little Broly's normal combat power had now reached ten million.
And it had only been a few months since leaving Vampa Star. Truly, the Saiyans were freakishly overpowered.
At this mont, Little Broly slowly awoke. He rubbed his eyes and yawned.
"Eh? Gran-dai, you're back!"
He straightened up, clenching his tiny fists. His voice was full of indignation: "Gran, that big sister just hit !"
"Don't worry. That nasty woman got killed by you."
"Ah? Did I lose control and kill her again?" Broly's eyes sparkled with excitent.
"Yes, she was killed by you."
Gran ruffled his small head, coaxing him gently.
"Aweso!"
Broly gritted his teeth. "That big sister was so an! She randomly fired an energy blast at —didn't she know I'd lose control? Hmph. Serves her right that I beat her to death!"
It was clear that Little Broly was still stewing over Zangya's sneak attack; his little mouth wouldn't stop jabbering.
Gran chuckled. Indeed, Zangya had just been unlucky—picking the wrong target to provoke.
"All right."
After teasing Broly for a bit, Gran spoke seriously: "It's ti for us to leave here."
He glanced around. There had once been a planet here, but Broly's battle with Zangya had shattered it completely.
The remaining debris had been blown away by the surge of Broly's energy.
This sector of space was now empty, and there was no reason to linger.
"Yay!"
Broly's excitent returned. "Gran, I'm hungry! Let's go eat sothing delicious!"
Over the past few months with Gran, Broly's personality had changed markedly. He was no longer sullen; he was lively and cheerful.
"All right, let's go."
Gran took the boy's hand and, with Instant Transmission, left the Northern Galaxy.
They arrived at a primitive planet in the Eastern Galaxy.
Animals of every kind road here. This ti, Gran didn't eat the buffalo—he picked land-running dinosaurs, swimming tuna, and giant flying birds.
The two Saiyans could finally feast freely again.
After filling their bellies, Gran crossed space and arrived before a dead planet. Raising his hand:
"Destruction!"
A violet light pierced the planet.

A terrifying wave of energy rippled outward, and the planet was obliterated completely.
After two and a half months of training on dead planets, Gran had finally mastered the ability to destroy a whole planet in one strike.
Closing his eyes in space, he sensed his destructive power growing ever more formidable.
But this still wasn't the level of the Rules.
Gran knew that mastery of the Rules couldn't be achieved by rely destroying a few planets. He wasn't disappointed—he was eager.
His current power was already terrifying. Once he reached the Rules-level, it would be even stronger.

Gran opened his eyes.
He didn't know exactly when he'd reach the Rules-level, but with his talent, it shouldn't take long.
He wasted no ti. The true work of destruction had only just begun.

"His destructive power is almost at the Rules-level."
Whis stood nearby, watching the scene in the sky.
On the screen, Gran's destructive force was horrifying—just a single violet glow could obliterate a planet in an entire star system.
"Almost… though it's unclear how long it will take for him to take the next step," Beerus added, popping another chip into his mouth.
"Indeed, after all, when Beerus trained the destructive Rules back then…"
Whis hadn't finished his sentence.
Beerus sat upright quickly, cutting him off. "Hey, hey, hey! Can you stop comparing him to ?!"
