"It's obvious that while you were in the Ti Chamber, you focused almost entirely on cultivating raw power—but that's understandable…"
Vados withdrew her gaze and continued calmly.
"In a completely empty space like that, with nothing to destroy, there's simply no way to advance your Destruction Rule. That's why it's still stuck at the First Tier."
The Destruction Rule could only be refined through constant destruction.
Otherwise, the result would be exactly like Gran's current situation.
Even after more than three hundred years, his Destruction Rule still hadn't advanced at all.
The Universe Traversal Cube continued racing forward.
Standing off to the side, Shin frowned.
"Miss Vados… does that an Gran's First-Tier Destruction Rule is considered bottom-tier among the Candidate Gods of Destruction?"
Everyone: "..."
"If you don't understand, then don't talk nonsense."
Beerus shot the little bean sprout a sideways glance before explaining.
"To cultivate the Destruction Rule, one must first raise their state of mind to the First Tier. Only then do they even qualify to comprehend Destruction Power."
"And without absurd levels of comprehension, grasping Destruction Power is outright impossible."
At this, Vados and Champa nodded vigorously.
Speaking of Destruction Power—
That freak Hit from Universe Six was a perfect example.
His talent as an assassin was terrifying beyond belief, yet when it ca to comprehending Destruction Power…
It had still taken him hundreds of years.
"Shin, even comprehending Destruction Power doesn't an you've reached the level of Rules!"
Beerus continued.
"Rules are the most terrifying forces within a universe. To cultivate Destruction into a Rule, you have to do what Gran once did—destroy planet after planet."
"In other words, among the Candidate Gods of Destruction, those capable of reaching the Rule level are extrely rare. No—"
Beerus spoke with absolute confidence.
"At this stage, aside from Gran, no other candidate can possibly reach the Rule level!"
All of them had entered the Ti Chamber.
All of them had trained in an environnt with nothing to destroy.
Which ant that even after hundreds—or thousands—of years,
their Destruction Rule cultivation would remain completely stagnant.
After hearing all this, Shin finally understood.
"Lord Shin," Vados glanced at him and chuckled softly,
"I was discussing the gap between Gran and Lord Beerus just now."
"So you really shouldn't be comparing Gran to those trash candidate gods."
The mont those words fell, everyone looked at Shin as if he were an idiot.
Shin was so embarrassed he wished he could crawl into a hole and disappear.
"Divine Peak Dinsion, Seventh-Tier Initial Stage power, Third-Tier Peak bodily instinct, First-Tier Destruction Rule…"
Vados calmly recited Gran's entire martial profile.
"This should be your current realm, correct?"
"Yes."
Gran suppressed the shock in his heart.
"Your power path sounds terrifying," Vados continued,
"but in other aspects, you still haven't reached true God of Destruction level."
"Especially your bodily instinct and Destruction Rule. If you were to fight Lord Beerus now, you'd still be crushed in every aspect."
Her voice echoed inside the traversal cube.
Beerus couldn't help lifting his chin proudly.
Hmph. Your talent really is terrifying, kid—but you're still a long way from surpassing completely.
As if sensing Beerus's thoughts, Gran shook his head with a smile.
Their lord really was like a child sotis.
"Miss Vados," Gran asked calmly,
"then what about compared to Lord Champa?"
Being dragged into it instantly set Champa off.
"What are you trying to pull, brat? Just now you didn't want to fight, and now you're comparing yourself to ?!"
As he spoke, the fat on his face bounced duang, duang, looking so soft it begged to be squeezed.
"Lord Champa, don't be angry—wasn't it just that ti didn't allow us to spar?"
Gran walked over, slinging an arm around Champa's shoulders as he laughed.
"I just want to know how big the gap is between and you Gods of Destruction. That way, during the Candidate God of Destruction War, I'll know where to draw the line."
Champa's round eyes rolled thoughtfully.
That actually made sense.
This kid had buried himself in training for hundreds of years without sparring once—
of course he wouldn't have a clear grasp of just how terrifying his power had beco.
If he went too hard during the war and accidentally wiped out all the other candidates,
he'd really be making enemies everywhere.
Though Champa knew full well that Beerus and Gran wouldn't care about offending anyone,
it was still better to avoid unnecessary resentnt.
"Vados, explain it to him."
Champa glanced at her.
Vados nodded lightly.
"If we're comparing you to Lord Champa… how should I put this…"
She paused briefly, then smiled.
"If it's against Lord Champa, Gran, you'd currently be looking at about a three-to-seven split."
"Oh?"
Gran's eyes glead with excitent.
"So I can already defeat Lord Champa?"
"You idiot, what are you thinking?!"
Beerus strode over and smacked Gran hard on the head.
"Ow!"
Gran released Champa and clutched his head, putting on an exaggerated pained expression.
"Lord Beerus, what was that for?!"
Beerus snorted.
"The win rate she ntioned ans you have thirty percent, and that fat pig has seventy!"
"How is that possible?!"
Gran's eyes widened.
Even with Seventh-Tier power at full force, he still couldn't defeat Champa?
"You don't actually think I'm weak, do you?"
Champa's lips curled slightly.
"Gran, let ask you sothing—aside from power, what else do you really have?"
The question froze Gran completely.
It was true.
Aside from reaching the Seventh Tier in raw power,
his other martial paths were still stuck at the Candidate God of Destruction level.
"Then let ask you this," Champa continued teasingly.
"Do you even know how strong I am?"
"I… I don't!"
Gran hurriedly looked to Beerus, hoping to get an answer from him.
Beerus and Champa exchanged a glance.
Champa nodded.
With his permission, Beerus sighed.
"That fat pig's pure power is at the Sixth-Tier Peak."
Gran's pupils shrank sharply.
Then it all made sense.
This was just like Jiren in the Tournant of Power—
Vermoud claid Jiren's power surpassed that of a God of Destruction.
But could Jiren actually defeat Vermoud?
Impossible.
Because Vermoud's other martial paths—especially his Destruction Rule—were far beyond Jiren's reach.
If Vermoud wanted to erase Jiren, Jiren wouldn't be able to escape.
"Lord Champa," Gran took a deep breath,
"what tier is your Destruction Rule at?"
"Sixth Tier—on the verge of breaking into the Seventh," Champa replied calmly.
Boom!
Even the Old Kai's eyes widened.
Who would've thought this fat guy had reached such a terrifying level?
Truly worthy of being Beerus's brother.
Shin counted on his fingers.
Gran's Destruction Rule was at the First Tier,
while Champa's had reached the Sixth-Tier Peak.
No wonder Vados said Gran only had a thirty percent chance!
"So that's how it is…"
Gran let out a quiet sigh, his expression dimming slightly.
When Vados had said he'd be crushed by Beerus in every aspect, he hadn't felt much at all.
After all, Beerus was the highest mountain among the Gods of Destruction—
Gran even believed Beerus might soon step into the angelic realm.
But learning that he couldn't even match Champa?
That was genuinely disappointing.
"Gran."
Whis suddenly turned his head while piloting the traversal cube.
"What is it?"
"You don't need to feel discouraged. What my sister said applies only for now."
Whis shot Vados a glare, then explained:
"You haven't fought anyone in hundreds of years. Your body has rusted—that's the real reason she gave you only a thirty percent win rate."
"If…"
Whis glanced at Champa again.
"When your body fully loosens up and you reacclimate to combat, your win rate will rise to seventy percent."
"....."
