The Supre Kai of Universe Four, Kuru, shot to his feet in panic.
"Shut up!"
Quitela slamd him back into his seat.
Taking a deep breath, he ground his teeth.
"Beerus's candidate is too dangerous. If he's given ti, he'll grow to Beerus's level—or perhaps even surpass him!"
"Then what do we do?"
"Beerus is bound by the order of the Grand Zeno. He cannot act against fellow Gods of Destruction. But his candidate isn't restricted by such rules."
Quitela's eyes grew cold.
"A person like that absolutely cannot be allowed to live."
"But… we've already been eliminated. There's no opportunity left!"
"Who said we've been eliminated?"
Quitela lowered his voice.
"Have you forgotten what Light truly is?"
Kuru froze.
Then he rembered.
Light fed on human fear.
As long as fear existed
His life would not cease.
"I understand now—Light isn't just an ancient being… he's also undead!"
Kuru's face flushed red with excitent.
"Keep your voice down!"
Quitela shot him a glare. Fortunately, Cognac had already concealed the sound around them.
"Light isn't dead."

"And it's a good thing that Gran rejected his alliance earlier. Light will never stand on his side now."
"And you don't need to worry about Light's death."
"Unless it's Destruction at the level of divine rules, almost no other power can truly erase him."

"I'd wager most of these candidates have comprehended Destruction energy."
"But in just ten short years? There's no way they've cultivated it to the level of rule manifestation."

Kuru could no longer contain himself and began shouting excitedly.
The other Gods of Destruction and Supre Kais assud he had lost his mind from shock.
On the other side.
"Ancestor-sama! The candidate from Universe Four has been killed!"
Shin exclaid excitedly.
The Old Supre Kai narrowed his eyes.
"I don't think it's that simple."
"Eh?"
Shin blinked in confusion.
Standing at the edge of the viewing platform, Beerus crossed his arms and spoke calmly:
"That wolf was clearly so kind of ancient being. Creatures like that are rarely killed by brute force alone—unless that force is overwhelming enough to shatter all laws with a single blow."
Shin's mouth fell open.
"Lord Beerus, are you saying Light's constitution is similar to Majin Buu's? That he'll revive?"
"No. Not even close."
Beerus shook his head.
"Eh?"
Shin froze again.
"Majin Buu's physique is nothing compared to Light's."
Champa chid in from the side:
"From what you've told before, that Majin Buu fellow can survive as long as even a single cell remains."
"But Gran just unleashed his full peak Sixth-Tier power. That ancient creature was erased down to the last cell—yet he may still survive."
Having stayed in Universe Seven these past few years, Champa now understood who Majin Buu was.
"That ancient creature is that outrageous?" Shin's eyes widened.
"Hmph. So what if he revives?"
Beerus let out a cold laugh.
"Without strength, revival ans nothing."
"He still won't be able to do anything to Gran."
"Gran hasn't even used half of his true power yet."
"And don't forget—"
"He has mastered the Rules of Destruction."
"Destruction rules are the natural nesis of creatures like that."
"There's nowhere for him to escape."
