"Could it be that this ti, there really is no one left to stop him?" Daigo's voice trembled with a mounting sense of dread. "Since Gohan failed to finish the job, does this an the end? Is there no one else to resolve this catastrophe?"
Horii adjusted his gear, his expression grim as he watched the monitor. "Now, we can only watch and see what Majin Buu's next move is. If Gohan can sohow survive this shift in montum, there might still be a glimr of hope."
"It's just such a waste," Zhang Chulan sighed, leaning back with a look of pure frustration. "Gohan held every single card in his hand. He had a massive advantage and could have ended this nightmare with a single focused Ki blast."
Duanmu Yan crossed his arms, his eyes cold and sharp. "This is exactly why I never ss around in a fight. You finish it, or it finishes you."
A collective sigh rippled through the myriad dinsions. Countless viewers felt a heavy sense of pity mixed with irritation toward Gohan. He had the power of a God, yet he had allowed his recklessness to turn a certain victory into a critical, life-threatening disaster. And in the world of Dragon Ball, second chances were luxuries that the universe could no longer afford.
On the screen, the atmosphere shifted. Majin Buu, sensing he could no longer win a head-on collision of Ki, abruptly stopped his assault. Instead of fighting, he vanished, fleeing into the crags and shadows of the wasteland. Gohan, Piccolo, and the boys imdiately gave chase, their eyes scanning the horizon, but Buu had suppressed his life force so perfectly that he seed to have blinked out of existence.
To prevent an ambush and to end the search quickly, Goten and Trunks seized the mont their cooldown ended and perford the Fusion Dance. The air roared as Gotenks reappeared in a flash of light. But they were being hunted by a predator far more cunning than they realized.
Hidden in the shadows, Majin Buu watched with a predatory glint in his eyes. Two small, viscous lumps of pink flesh detached from his body, slithering across the ground like serpents. They moved with a terrifying silence, creeping toward the unsuspecting Gotenks and Piccolo. Before either could react, the flesh expanded into a suffocating shroud, enveloping them instantly.
Majin Buu lunged from his hiding spot, recalling the pink masses into his main body. The transformation was instantaneous and horrific. His power skyrocketed, his fra stretching taller and more muscular. The long antenna atop his head lengthened significantly, and his facial features sharpened into a more mature, sinister visage. Most strikingly, he now wore the distinct tamoran vest of the fusion warrior.
Gohan stood frozen, caught completely off guard by the sudden turn of events. He braced himself to resu the fight, but as the first blow landed, a cold realization washed over him. He was no longer the hunter. He couldn't defeat this thing anymore.
"Majin Buu possesses abilities that are essentially 'glitches' in the laws of combat," the narrator explained, his voice echoing over the footage of Gohan being pushed back. "Beyond his near-instant regeneration, his magic to turn foes into candy, and his healing factor, his most dangerous trait is absorption. By enveloping opponents in his own biomass, he doesn't just kill them—he steals their essence, their techniques, and their power."
"After consuming Piccolo and Gotenks, he has ascended to a form we call Gotenks-Buu. His Ki has surged to a level that now eclipses Gohan's Mystic state. Technically, if Gohan could stall for thirty minutes until the fusion inside Buu wore off, the monster's power would plumt. But Gohan lacks Buu's infinite stamina and biological immortality. He simply cannot survive a thirty-minute onslaught from a superior foe."
The narrator's tone beca clinical. "We must also note that Buu's tactical retreat was no accident. He overheard the children discussing the fusion's requirents. He intentionally baited them into fusing just so he could harvest that power. Therefore, while Gohan's arrogance opened the door, Goten and Trunks bear the weight of being terrible teammates. Their loose tongues gave the devil his blueprint."
The audience across the realms sat in stunned silence. The gravity of the situation was suffocating.
"Those two brats are more trouble than they're worth!" Beimiao snarled, his fist hitting the table. "They had the chance to end it as Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks earlier and played around instead. Now they've literally handed the enemy a power-up! They are the worst teammates in history!"
"Beimiao, calm down," Li Xinnan said softly. "They're just kids. They were trying to help Gohan."
"Trying to help?" Beimiao shot back. "If they wanted to help, they should have been serious from the start! Mischievous kids remain mischievous kids, and they've dood everyone."
Li Haotian shook his head. "I still think the lion's share of the bla lies with Gohan. If he had been the warrior he was ant to be, Buu wouldn't have lived long enough to hatch a plan."
"It's the sa pattern," Duanmu Yan added. "It's the sa arrogance we saw in the Cell Saga, and the sa ego Vegeta displayed against Semi-Perfect Cell. It's pure recklessness."
Kakashi let out a dry, weary laugh. "Honestly, if it had been Vegeta standing there, Buu wouldn't even have needed to be sneaky. He could have just told Vegeta that absorbing the others would make him a 'worthy challenge,' and the Prince probably would have helped him do it just to prove a point."
Vegeta's voice suddenly cut through the dinsional chat, burning with rage: "YOU SHUT UP!"
"Don't be so sensitive, Vegeta," Frieza's voice chid in, dripping with aristocratic malice. "Isn't that exactly what you did for Cell? Why get so agitated when soone recounts your greatest hits?"
"Vegeta is only angry because it's the truth," Frieza chuckled.
Kurosaki Ichigo ignored the bickering, his focus on the screen. "The post-mortem doesn't matter now. Gohan is outclassed, and he can't outrun the clock. What is left? Who is left?"
The silence that followed was heavy. There was no one on Earth who could match the power of Gotenks-Buu.
Deep within the Kaioshin Realm, the Supre Kai looked like he had aged a thousand years. "I never imagined he would go this far," he whispered, his face pale. He wasn't surprised by the absorption—he had seen it consu the South Supre Kai and the Grand Supre Kai eons ago. What terrified him was that Buu had now combined his ancient malice with the tactical genius of Piccolo and the raw, explosive potential of the Saiyan fusions.
Earth's last hope wasn't just fading—it was being consud.
