The second piece of information was irrelevant to the masses but struck Vegeta like a physical blow. It was the long-buried truth behind the destruction of Planet Vegeta. Sitting within his spaceship, the Prince of Saiyans felt his blood run cold.
He had always believed Frieza destroyed their ho out of a growing fear of the Super Saiyan legend. To learn it was done at Beerus's command changed everything. Perhaps Frieza had his own petty motives, but the ultimate authority had been the God of Destruction.
Vegeta's entire body trembled as he watched the screen. He vividly rembered seeing Beerus during his childhood; his father, King Vegeta, had been forced to kneel as a footstool for the deity. Even then, a young Vegeta had been unable to withstand a single glance from the God.
This was an existence of absolute terror. He possessed the resolve to seek revenge against Frieza, but against Beerus? He didn't even dare to send a ssage to question him. He decided then and there to focus his hatred on Frieza—the one who actually pulled the trigger.
anwhile, on King Kai's Planet, North Kai was spiraling into a panic. His planet was already a tiny fraction of its forr size because Beerus had previously destroyed most of it in a fit of pique. Seeing the God of Destruction heading his way again felt like a death sentence for his remaining land. His only hope was that Son Goku wouldn't do anything reckless. But knowing Goku's obsession with fighting, North Kai's anxiety only intensified.
The video continued with Goku training intensely in the 10x gravity of the small planet. As the Supre Kais and King Kai sensed the encroaching pressure of Beerus's Ki, they telepathically warned Goku to stay hidden.
King Kai tried to keep the God's arrival a secret, but Goku's sharp ears caught him muttering. Under pressure, the Kai relented and explained who Beerus was. Predictably, Goku's Saiyan blood began to boil with excitent. He wanted to test his strength against a God.
When Beerus finally arrived, he imdiately sensed Goku's presence and summoned him. The God of Destruction was searching for the "Super Saiyan God," a title Goku didn't recognize. Disappointed, Beerus prepared to head to Earth to find the other Saiyans, but Goku couldn't let him leave without a spar. King Kai nearly fainted with fear, but Beerus found the challenge amusing. It had been a long ti since a mortal had shown such audacity.
Goku began the fight cautiously. He transford into a Super Saiyan, but his strikes t only air. He ascended to Super Saiyan 2, yet the result was the sa. Finally, Goku roared as his hair lengthened and his Ki exploded, reaching the state of Super Saiyan 3.
His offensive beca a fierce blur of golden energy, but Beerus remained effortlessly composed, dodging every blow with a bored expression. When Goku complained about the lack of counterattacks, Beerus told him he had to prove he was worth the effort.
Goku launched a desperate, full-power strike. This ti, Beerus didn't move—he simply raised a single finger and stopped the punch dead. The shockwave rattled the very dinsions of the screen.
"Since you aren't half bad, I'll teach you sothing," Beerus said calmly. "A God of Destruction is a terrifying thing." With a casual flick of his finger against Goku's forehead, the Saiyan was sent spiraling. Before he could recover, Beerus appeared behind him and delivered a sharp hand chop to the neck.
In just two trivial moves, Super Saiyan 3 Goku was rendered unconscious. The multiversal audience sat in stunned silence. After a long mont, the chat flooded with reactions.
Duanmu Yan: "I finally understand why the narrator called the previous enemies ants. Two moves to take down a Super Saiyan 3? That's insane."
Zhang Chulan: "They are both gods, so why is the power gap between a Supre Kai and a God of Destruction so massive?"
