Now reading: Chapter 3 3 : The Paradox of the Great Ape from Dragon Ball : Super Saiyan Transformations, a Action novel by VeniV.

Deep in the cold vacuum of the cosmos, two spherical Attack Balls streaked through the stars like vengeful cots. Inside the cramped cockpits, the dim glow of control panels illuminated two figures clad in flexible Battle Armor, their brown, furred tails coiled tightly around their waists.

Vegeta and Nappa had been roused from their cold-sleep by the jarring notification of the Wanjie Video Network. As the holographic screen flickered to life, Vegeta stared at the display, a sneer curling his lip.

"So, that's Kakarot," Vegeta muttered, his voice dripping with cold derision. "A low-class warrior remains exactly that. Even after the Great Ape Transformation, he's nothing but garbage."

To the Saiyan Prince, the spectacle on the screen was pathetic. That a mber of their warrior race could be trapped in a re cage—forced to rely on the Oozaru form just to break a few walls—was an insult.

"He can't even maintain his cognitive functions while transford," Vegeta scoffed, his Scouter clicking as it processed the data. "He's the most useless of the useless. And to think Raditz fell to a disgrace like this... Hmph. My trip to Earth will be a triviality."

The Path of Redemption

anwhile, in the mystical realm of the Underworld, the endless yellow brick of Snake Way stretched toward the horizon. Son Goku had skidded to a halt. He had already learned the hard way that browsing the Video Network while running led to a long, undignified fall into the clouds of Hell below.

As he watched the grainy footage of his younger self, mories long suppressed began to click into place. He rembered the dungeon, Bulma's fear, and the haunting glow of the full moon—then, only a void.

"So... it was ," Goku whispered, his eyes widening with a heavy, newfound realization. "The monster that crushed Grandpa Gohan... the beast that tore up the World Martial Arts Tournant... it was always ."

He looked down at his hands, then up at the infinite sky of the Afterlife. "Grandpa, I'm so sorry. I'm stuck here right now, but I promise—if I die again fighting these Saiyans, I'll find you in the Underworld and make it right."

The Tenfold Terror

The Narrator's voice bood across the dinsions, authoritative and resonant.

"The Saiyan's Great Ape Transformation: any Saiyan possessing a tail can undergo this tamorphosis upon witnessing a full moon. In this state, their Ki swells exponentially, granting a tenfold increase in power. It is the ultimate expression of the Saiyan's primal dominance. However, this form can be forcibly reverted through two specific thods."

The screen shifted to the past. As the giant beast roared, losing all reason, the tactical instincts of the transmigrator Akira noted the scene's progression. He watched as Yamcha and Puar executed a desperate gambit.

"The first thod," the Narrator continued, "is the removal of the tail. Without this biological catalyst, the Saiyan cannot sustain the surge of Ki required for the transformation."

Shockwaves Across the Multiverse

In the One Piece World, atop the jagged peaks of Onigashima, Kaido of the Beasts lood over his sake iron. He had been considering headhunting this 'Son Goku' for his crew, but the revelation of such a glaring weakness soured his interest.

"A single cut to the tail and the power vanishes?" Kaido grunted. "Pathetic. Our Ancient Zoans don't have such 'off-switches'."

But then, a flurry of Bullet Comnts streaked across the video, shifting the perspective of every powerhouse in the multiverse.

[Uzumaki Naruto: "Wait, did he say tenfold?! If my Sage Mode or Nine-Tails Chakra Mode gave a 10x multiplier, I'd have ended the war in five minutes!"]

The comnt hit like a physical blow. While the Armor Summoners and Ultraman hosts remained composed—their transformations often yielding even higher yields—the rest of the Wanjie Multiverse was reeling.

"Ten tis the base power?" Kaido stood up, his massive fra casting a shadow over his subordinates. "My Azure Dragon form is a pinnacle of strength, but a flat tenfold increase... that is monstrous."

Yet, looking at the destruction on screen—a re stone castle reduced to rubble—Kaido felt a sense of superiority return. "Still, the output is diocre. This world's ceiling seems low. A castle? My 'Bolo Breath' could erase that entire mountain."

Across the dinsions, a consensus began to form among the elite. Kurosaki Ichigo, various Kan Riders, and the Ninja of the Leaf all watched with a mix of envy and dismissal. They saw a world of incredible multipliers but seemingly low "base stats." To them, the Dragon Ball World appeared to be a mid-tier reality at best.

They didn't realize that they were looking at the very bottom of a power scale that was about to shatter their understanding of divinity.

Just as the debates reached a fever pitch, the Narrator's voice cut through the noise once more, hinting at a power that surpassed re primal biology.
