"It seems we have the Supre Kai to thank for that," Piccolo noted, his eyes fixed on the chaotic scene. "If he hadn't used that last burst of energy to detonate the blast, Gohan wouldn't have been propelled away. He might be alive, but if he had stayed, he would have shared Dabura's grueso fate."
Krillin swallowed hard, his skin turning a shade paler. "But now, it looks like the Supre Kai is the one about to beco a snack. Wait a minute... we're right here too! Don't tell ..." The martial artist began to shiver violently. He had faced death before, but the thought of being turned into a piece of confectionery and chewed into oblivion was a horror he hadn't prepared for.
In the God of Destruction's realm, the atmosphere was reaching a boiling point.
"@Supre Kai, you absolute moron! Do you even realize who you are?!" Lord Beerus roared, his purple aura flickering with dangerous intensity. The God of Destruction could no longer remain a silent observer. If the Supre Kai were eaten and digested by Majin Buu, the Life Link would sever, and Beerus himself would cease to exist. While he appreciated the aesthetic of turning enemies into food, he was beyond displeased that the "food" in question was his own biological anchor.
"Lord Beerus, please, don't agitate yourself just yet! I... I might not necessarily die," the Supre Kai stamred, though his heart was hamring against his ribs. He looked at the screen, desperately searching for a miracle. If his video counterpart truly perished and took the God of Destruction with him, the wrath he would face in the afterlife—or whatever remained of it—was unthinkable. Soone, anyone, save !
Yet, the viewers across the dinsions were skeptical. Piccolo and Krillin were outclassed, and the two children, despite their potential, were far too inexperienced. Goku was still locked in a stalemate with the possessed Prince of Saiyans. Short of Babidi having a sudden change of heart—which was laughable—the Supre Kai seed destined for the stomach of a Majin.
Deep in an uncharted corner of Universe 7, Babidi cackled, his small body shaking with malevolent glee. "Is he finally going to die? Is my father's vengeance finally at hand?!" To see the highest deity of the universe turned into a morsel of chocolate was a cody Babidi couldn't wait to witness. "I hope the in the video asks for a bite. I'd love to know what a god tastes like!"
Just as the despair reached its zenith, the scene shifted.
The titanic clash between Goku and Vegeta had finally ground to a halt. The sheer, suffocating pressure of Majin Buu's Ki had reached them, making further squabbling feel trivial. Goku, ever the optimist, believed they could end the threat together. "If we team up, there's no way we'll lose to Buu," Goku said, reaching for the Senzu bean pouch at his waist.
He never saw the attack coming.
Vegeta, driven by a dark sense of duty and a lingering pride, brought his clasped hands down like a sledgehamr onto the back of Goku's neck. The Earth-raised Saiyan crumpled, unconscious before he hit the ground. Vegeta caught the falling Senzu bean, consud it to restore his waning stamina, and looked down at his rival.
"Since Majin Buu appeared because of , I will be the one to end him," Vegeta muttered, his voice heavy with a resolve that bordered on a death wish. "Our battle... we'll save it for later. If I can still co back alive."
Standing at the entrance of the wizard's buried spaceship, Vegeta paused, his eyes narrowing as he scanned the horizon for a Ki signature he knew well. "Gohan's energy... it's gone. Forgive , boy. This is all my fault." For the second ti, the Prince of Saiyans showed a rare, profound regret. It was clear to everyone watching: Vegeta saw Gohan not just as a subordinate, but as a warrior who deserved better than the fate his own pride had caused.
Back at the surface, Majin Buu was playfully deciding whether the Supre Kai would make a better cracker or a cookie. The deity closed his eyes, accepting the end.
BOOM!
The spaceship behind Babidi erupted in a violent explosion of fire and tal. Through the smoke walked a lone figure, his golden aura flickering with renewed intensity. Vegeta had arrived.
Babidi shrieked in anger, blaming the Saiyan for destroying his property, but Vegeta didn't even blink. His eyes were locked on the pink monster. "So, you're Majin Buu? You're the ugly freak who killed Gohan!"
Buu tilted his head, confused by the word 'ugly.' Once Babidi gleefully explained the insult, the Majin's playful deanor vanished, replaced by a terrifying, childish rage. On Babidi's command, Buu lunged.
Vegeta, now back at his peak, fought with a ferocity that dwarfed Dabura's efforts. His punches landed with the force of exploding stars, cratering Buu's body, but the damage was irrelevant.
No matter how many holes Vegeta punched through the monster, the pink flesh simply flowed back into place. Vegeta had no such luxury. Every bruise stayed, every drop of blood drained his vitality, and Buu's infinite stamina began to tilt the scales.
The Prince was eventually snared, Buu's own elastic flesh wrapping around him like a suffocating cocoon. Seeing his father in agony, Trunks lost all restraint. "Hold on, Papa!" he scread, charging forward with Goten and Krillin right behind him.
anwhile, Piccolo saw his opening. While Buu was distracted, the Nakian descended upon Babidi. The wizard's magical shield, touted as the strongest defense, was nothing more than paper before Piccolo's sharpened Ki. With a single, swift hand-chop, the "Greatest Mage" was sliced clean in half.
"From this, we see the absolute truth of the Dragon Ball World," the narrator's voice bood, resonant and clear. "Strength is the only currency that matters. Flashy magic and titles of 'strongest mage' are worthless if your base stats cannot withstand the pressure. This is the law of the universe: one absolute force can break all laws."
Across the multiverse, heroes and villains alike nodded in somber realization. In this world, 'chanics' ant nothing if the 'stats' were high enough to ignore them.
"I can't believe the Supre Kai actually made it," Sengoku mused, wiping sweat from his brow. "And that it was Vegeta, of all people, who pulled him from the brink."
"Did you see that?" Naruto yelled, pointing at the screen. "Vegeta apologized again! He really does care about Gohan. He's not just so grumpy guy after all!"
