Earth.

After Trunks and Super Broly left…

The Lookout.

Dende's face turned pale, and it looked as if all the blood had been drained from it. Cold sweat poured down his forehead, his eyes lost focus, and his entire body trembled uncontrollably. He stood there frozen, shivering slightly, unable to bear the weight of the shocking news he had just received.

This wasn't due to any ordinary cause but because he had just been told sothing that he simply could not accept.

The aged, low voice of North Kaiō echoed in his ears: "Dende… Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction, is approaching Earth."

From North Kaiō's words, Dende had already learned how terrifying the God of Destruction Beerus truly was. The news that Beerus, the God of Destruction, was coming to Earth struck Dende like a bolt from the blue. A wave of despair washed over him.

Beerus, the God with such imnse power… was actually descending upon Earth?!

"Dende, whatever you do, don't anger Lord Beerus! Or the consequences will be dire!" North Kaiō warned again.

Dende stamred in reply, "I understand, Lord Kaiō!"

Then, he quickly closed his eyes. Through the Nakian telepathic link, Dende relayed the ssage about Beerus's arrival on Earth to Piccolo. At that mont, Piccolo was training Pan in the mountains behind Gohan's house.

"Hmm, not bad, Pan. Your talent surpasses even your father's," Piccolo said. "Let's stop for today. Sit down and take a break."

He handed Pan a bottle of water while praising her. Pan wiped away her sweat, took the bottle, twisted off the cap, and gulped down the water. "Thanks, Grandpa Piccolo!"

Piccolo smiled, but then suddenly, Dende's urgent voice echoed in his mind.

[Piccolo Ojisan, listen carefully, this is an ergency. Lord Kaiō says a God of Destruction nad Beerus is coming to Earth. He's extrely dangerous! Please warn everyone not to anger him, or Earth could be destroyed!]

Piccolo frowned. "A God of Destruction? What kind of god is that? What does he look like?"

Dende described Beerus's appearance as he had heard it from Kaiō: "A long tail, purple skin, a fierce-looking face, and a pair of long ears, overall, he looks terrifying!"

Hearing Dende's description gave Piccolo a headache. Just the description alone made him feel this wasn't soone to ss with.

Piccolo said firmly, "Understood, Dende. I'll warn everyone. No one must anger this guy when they et him."

He ended the telepathic link, still shaken, repeating Dende's words under his breath: "A long tail…"

He kept muttering the description, but halfway through, a childish voice echoed beside him.

"A long tail…"

Piccolo turned his head toward Pan. At that very mont, Pan was talking to two strangers. She pointed to the purple-skinned man before her.

"A long tail…"

And in the next instant, sothing that almost made Piccolo's eyes pop out happened. Pan flew right up to the stranger and reached out to touch his ear.

"Long ears… long tail…"

To her, a strange creature like this suddenly appearing on Earth was incredibly fascinating. Piccolo's face turned ashen because the stranger before him looked exactly as Dende had described!

It was him, the God of Destruction Beerus! And beside him stood another figure with silver-white hair. Piccolo had no idea when or how these two had appeared here but Pan was in extre danger!

"Pan! Don't be rude! This is Lord Beerus!"

But before his words could fully leave his mouth, Pan's small hand was already reaching toward Beerus's ear.

Just after arriving on Earth, Beerus felt a flicker of irritation at Pan's unique and rather rude way of greeting him. His golden eyes glinted coldly as his expression darkened, his sharp gaze locking onto Pan's small, outstretched hands.

With his hands clasped behind his back, Beerus shot Pan a sidelong glance and said flatly: "What a rude little creature."

Then, with a casual movent, he sidestepped Pan's attempt to touch him.

At that mont, Piccolo swiftly leapt to Pan's side and pulled her into his arms. "Pan! That's enough, don't be rude. This person should be Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction."

Pan nodded quickly and apologized in a fluster, "I'm sorry, Lord Beerus!"

Beside them, Whis chuckled softly at the scene. Turning to Beerus, he said, amused, "Lord Beerus, it seems this Earth child mistook you for a cat."

Beerus let out a cold snort. "Hmph! Such impudence. I've barely arrived on Earth, and already I'm annoyed."

He narrowed his eyes. "In that case, perhaps this planet doesn't deserve to exist. I may as well destroy it."

His irritation flared, and his fierce gaze fell on Pan, clearly displeased with her earlier behavior.

Seeing this, Piccolo tightened his hold protectively around Pan. But Pan, with the fearless spirit of a young Saiyan, beca defiant the instant she heard Beerus ntion destroying Earth.

"Bad guy! I won't let you destroy Earth!" With that shout, Pan burst with energy, breaking free from Piccolo's arms in an instant and charging straight at Beerus.

The sudden action caught Piccolo completely off guard, he hadn't expected Pan to act so recklessly. Beerus's eyes glead coldly. With a slight twist of his body, he effortlessly dodged her attack.

"What an ill-mannered brat…" Beerus muttered.

At the sa ti, a faint purple light began to gather in his hand.

It looked small, insignificant, even but for so reason, Piccolo suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of crushing pressure radiating from it.

There was no ti to think, whatever happened, he had to protect Pan. Forget about not angering the God of Destruction, that warning from Dende was gone from his mind.

Even though he could sense Beerus's imasurable power, this was his granddaughter. And Piccolo was not one to stand by and tremble in fear.

"MAKANKŌSAPPŌ!! (Special Beam Cannon!)" Piccolo roared.

Beerus's brow twitched. With just a glance, his eyes flared and Piccolo's attack dissolved into nothingness. Ignoring whether his strike hit or not, Piccolo rushed to Pan, scooped her up, and took off into the sky at full speed, trying to escape from the disaster waiting below.

Beerus watched the fleeing pair without the slightest emotion in his eyes. The purple light in his hand condensed into a laser-like blast.

Whis spoke calmly beside him, "My, my, Lord Beerus, it seems you really are angry. Aren't you going to keep looking for the Super Saiyan God?"

Beerus's expression remained cold and severe. "The dignity of a god… will never be trampled upon."

As he said this, the purple laser shot from his hand, streaking through the air straight toward the fleeing grandfather and granddaughter.

Seeing the deadly beam racing toward them, Pan's face filled with terror. In that desperate mont, as death lood near, she cried out the only na that ca to her heart…

"DADDY!!!"
