At the sa ti, everyone looked down from above. They were all so shocked that their mouths hung open.
"Whoa! This is unbelievable! Boss! Too bad that guy Buu couldn't co with us!" Super Perfect Cell tugged at Trunks' sleeve.
"Yeah, this really is unexpected," Trunks replied calmly. He nodded slightly and turned to look at Beerus behind him.
"Lord Beerus, has it always been like this here?" Trunks asked.
Beerus crossed his arms and shook his head. "No, this is my first ti seeing such a spectacular arena as well," he answered seriously. When the Gods of Destruction used to compete, we only had a small stage. It seems that Lord Zen'ō, the King of All, is placing great importance on this tournant."
As they spoke, the flying craft slowly descended toward the arena.
The arena was divided into three rings.
The first ring, the one closest to the center, was where their craft landed. It served as a pre-match gathering and resting area.
The second ring was the proper battle stage, similar to the arena from the original story.
The third ring was a special battlefield containing various terrains modeled after Earth and served as the arena's true finishing touch.
Thud…!
The transparent flying craft landed in the designated Universe 7 area.
Everyone stepped out and gazed at the magnificent structure before them, still filled with awe.
"It's so big! This place is enormous!" Son Goku shouted.
"Tch, Kakarot, you're so noisy. Can't you be quiet for once? Stop yelling," Vegeta said disdainfully as he glanced at Goku.
At that mont, Bulma also let out an excited exclamation.
"It's so beautiful here! I never imagined we'd get to co to a place like this!"
She closed her eyes, taking in the mysterious and breathtaking atmosphere surrounding them.
Vegeta smiled faintly. When it ca to his daughter, he wouldn't scold her.
He had initially refused to let her participate in the tournant, but she had insisted on coming, leaving him no choice but to agree.
He then walked over to Trunks and said quietly, "Hey, Trunks. When the fighting starts later, make sure you protect your sister."
Trunks nodded slightly. "Yeah, I know, Dad."
"Now then, let see... Universe 7 should all be here, right?" Whis said thoughtfully.
Old Kai stepped forward and replied, "Lord Whis, it seems Shin hasn't arrived yet."
That reminder made Whis recall Kaioshin Shin.
As the current Supre Kai of Universe 7, he really was barely present.
"I understand. I'll go pick him up now. In the anti, everyone, please head into that building. Inside, you'll find the new rulebook and reading guide for the Tournant of Power," Whis said, pointing toward a nearby resting house. Whis pointed toward a nearby resting house.
After saying this, Whis disappeared from the spot.
Following his instructions, everyone walked into the building.
There were eight buildings in total, one for each participating universe.
Everyone entered the room. Inside, a table was placed in the center of the room, and on it lay a single sheet of white paper.
Trunks picked up the paper and saw that it was filled with dense lines of black text.
At the very top were several bold words:
God of Destruction Arena Guidelines.
Gohan, behind Trunks, also noticed the paper on the table.
The two exchanged glances; curiosity was evident on their faces. They began reading together.
Arena Notice I: "The scale of this arena is imnse. During this Tournant of Power, flight will be forcibly restricted, and no tools or items may be brought into the competition."
Arena Notice II: "This Tournant of Power will take place entirely within the arena. Each universe will have ten participants, for a total of eighty contestants."
The first two notices were nearly identical to information that everyone had already received.
Trunks and Gohan continued reading.
However, the next two points were the most critical:
Arena Notice III: "The third ring of the arena possesses the ability to restrict certain special skills, such as Instant Transmission."
Trunks frowned and continued reading.
Arena Notice IV: "After the tournant begins, the ten participants from each Universe will be randomly teleported into different modular battle environnts."
"Within a single module, there may be multiple mbers from the sa universe, but at least one participant will be present in each module."
"Furthermore, all modules are completely isolated from one another. mbers of the sa universe who are not assigned to the sa module will be unable to cooperate."
At this point, both Trunks and Gohan felt their hearts skip a beat.
This ant that if they were not assigned to the sa module, they would be unable to help each other.
This developnt completely exceeded Trunks' expectations. The rules were entirely different from those in the original story.
This revelation struck both Trunks and Gohan like a heavy blow.
They continued reading and arrived at the final rule.
Arena Notice V: Killing is prohibited during this tournant. Universes that lose will be erased. The ultimate prize is the Super Dragon Balls."
Additionally, participants who advance from the third ring's modules will proceed to the second-ring arena for the final round. The universe with the most remaining participants at the end will be declared the victor."
In the second ring, abilities such as Instant Transmission will no longer be restricted. Gohan and Trunks had finished reading all the tournant rules by this point.
Aside from points four and five, everything else was nearly identical to the information they had previously received.
With matters now clear, Gohan and Trunks could only inform the others.
"Everyone, I think our plan may need to change," Trunks announced.
The group froze for a mont, all eyes turning toward Trunks and Gohan. Seeing their questioning looks, Trunks asked Gohan to explain the rules to everyone once more.
As expected of a scholar, Gohan's comprehension was flawless. He summarized everything concisely, highlighting only the key points.
"In short, there's a high chance we'll be separated during the first round. We won't be able to help each other, and we can only cooperate in the second round."
The mont Vegeta heard this, he imdiately lost his composure.
This ant that the strategy he had just discussed with Trunks, protecting Bulla, might be completely useless.
"What kind of bullshit rules are these?! Damn it!"
