Frieza gave a sinister smile as he walked to the edge of the arena.
"Hohoho... Farewell, friends of Universe 9."
The mont he finished speaking, the three wolves' faces turned deathly pale.
In Universe 9's spectator room, the God of Destruction, Sidra, was overwheld by fear.
It was already too late. He stood there blankly, his face devoid of expression, perhaps this was the last shred of dignity he could maintain as a God of Destruction.
anwhile, Universe 9's Kaioshin looked utterly deranged, clutching his head with both hands and unable to accept what was happening.
"No…! No! You're useless! You're useless! Move! Move already!" He scread hysterically.
The other mbers of Universe 9 who had been eliminated were equally horrified, their faces filled with terror.
The entire room echoed with wails of despair. Yet among everyone present, only one person remained completely unmoved: The Angel of Universe 9, Mohito, still wore his perpetually weary expression, as if he had been born with that tired, lancholic face.
Sidra quietly turned his head and glanced at Mohito. He wanted to say a quick goodbye to his ntor. But when he looked at Mohito's face, the words refused to co out.
Mohito remained silent.
Sidra abandoned the thought.
It seed that all along, Mohito had never held much regard for Universe 9's God of Destruction or its Kaioshin. Sidra lowered his head. As the weakest God of Destruction, he had nothing more to say.
Not only was he weak, but the civilization under his jurisdiction was also far too underdeveloped.
Letting out a relieved smile, Sidra sighed and looked back at the screen.
Back in the arena... Despite the size difference between Frieza and the three wolves, he held them as easily as chicks.
The three mbers of the Dangerous Trio had already prepared themselves for elimination.
Bergamo forced a faint smile.
"This ti… we were careless. If there's a next ti, I'll definitely train harder..."
"My brothers… if there's another life, let's still be brothers."
Lavender and Basil had tears in their eyes, but they didn't fall. Bergamo stretched out his trembling arms, trying to pull them into an embrace, but a mocking voice interrupted him the next mont.
"Hohoho… enough. This Great King can't stand scenes like this. So now, allow to send you on your way."
As Frieza's voice faded, he suddenly propelled the three wolves forward.
Leaping into the air, he spun in a graceful 360-degree turn and delivered a precise, sweeping kick that sent all three brothers flying out of the arena.
Landing at the edge of the stage, Frieza bent forward slightly, looking down as the three brothers fell into the void.
"Hohoho… good luck."
Following the defeat of the Dangerous Trio, the result was announced throughout the Tournant of Power arena.
"All fighters from Universe 9 have been eliminated. Universe 9 has lost. All that exists in Universe 9, except its Angel, will now be erased."
This instantly drew everyone's attention.
No matter which universe they ca from, everyone was stunned.
And yet... Among all those present, there was only one person who was not surprised:
That person was Trunks.
At that mont, he was frighteningly calm.
In contrast, the five little Cell Juniors beside him looked shocked. Upon hearing the announcent, all five of them stood with their mouths wide open in shock. They hadn't expected Universe 9 to be completely wiped out in just two minutes.
"What kind of opponent did Universe 9 run into? And who eliminated the last three guys so quickly?" One of the Cell Juniors asked.
Trunks replied indifferently, "That's no longer important. It just shows that Universe 9 wasn't prepared."
"If they had trained like us, spending another two-and-a-half years in the Hyperbolic Ti Chamber, it probably wouldn't have ended like this."
The young Cell nodded and gave a thumbs-up. "As expected of the Boss... never fighting an unprepared battle."
Trunks smiled faintly. In truth, he knew the real reason. Universe 9 was simply the weakest. This Tournant of Power was unfolding just as it did in the original story. Of all these mixed teams of varying strength, the most straightforward group was always the first to be eliminated.
In the distance... Amid softly falling snow, the black-robed man showed no surprise at all.
He muttered calmly, "So... it's still the sa outco."
"Everyone, I now announce that Universe 9 will be erased." The magnetic voice of the Great Priest echoed throughout the arena.
This was tantamount to a death sentence for Universe 9. At that mont, the vast sky canopy projected the figures of the Great Priest and Zen'ō, the King of All.
Their images were also broadcast in every spectator room.
All eyes were fixed on them.
"Then, everyone from Universe 9, co before us," The Great Priest said.
The God of Destruction Sidra froze for a mont, then understood. This was a public execution. At this point, there was no choice but to comply.
Sidra led everyone and flew towards Zen'ō.
All the mbers of Universe 9 appeared on the giant screen. Each of them looked lifeless and consud by absolute despair. Even the usually arrogant Universe 9 Kaioshin now looked like a withered eggplant.
"Zen'ō-sama, please begin," The Great Priest requested.
Zen'ō stood up from his seat and slowly waved his hands. A starlike glow began to appear around everyone from Universe 9... a light that signified permanent erasure.
In the blink of an eye, sothing shocking happened. Every single mber of Universe 9 vanished without a trace.
The arena fell into complete silence, as if ti itself had stopped.
And yet... Only Mohito, the Angel, remained standing quietly in place.
His tall figure seed especially striking. All this ti, Mohito had always worn a sorrowful expression, as if burdened with endless worries. But at that mont, his lancholy face suddenly lit up with a radiant smile, as though the ice had lted.
It was a smile of ease and joy, as though all his burdens had vanished in an instant.
He looked completely relieved, exuding a sense of liberation, as if a long-standing weight had finally been lifted from his heart. Then, Mohito bowed deeply in respect to Zen'ō and the Great Priest.
His movents were elegant and solemn.
"Then, Zen'ō-sama, Great Priest-sama, I shall take my leave."
With that, he turned around and disappeared from everyone's sight, his steps light and unhurried.
