"Kid, lend this big lug to Lord Cat for a couple of days so I can show off!" The Dragon Cat glanced sideways at Ye Wushuang, then shot off toward Pann Wu with a WHOOSH.
Seeing this, Ye Wushuang simply shook his head and continued forward.
Pann Wu stopped in his tracks, gazing in confusion at the thumb-sized furball before him.
"Never seen such a handso cat before!?"
Gazing up at the pair of eyes as large as bronze bells staring down at him, the Dragon Cat curled its lip in a smirk. Full of narcissism, it asked, "Allow to introduce myself. Lord Cat is the Heaven-Devouring Dragon Cat, your clan’s Priest’s Cat. Ever heard of a Priest’s Cat?"
"No!" Pann Wu shook his head. ’When did the Giant Spirit Clan get a Priest’s Cat?’ he wondered.
"You don’t know?" The Dragon Cat’s eyes glinted slyly. Pointing toward Ye Wushuang up ahead, it asked Pann Wu, "Let ask you, is he your Lord Priest?"
Though he didn’t understand what the Dragon Cat was getting at, Pann Wu replied, "Yes!"
"Since he’s the Priest, and Lord Cat is his friend, doesn’t that make the Priest’s Cat!" the Dragon Cat declared. It didn’t care if its logic was sound; it had been observing Pann Wu for a while and knew he was just a simple-minded giant.
"You are the Lord Priest’s friend?" Hearing the word "Priest," Pann Wu’s expression suddenly turned serious.
"Of course! Lord Cat’s word is his word!" the Dragon Cat said shalessly as its shifty eyes darted about. It was inwardly ecstatic. ’I’ve got this big oaf handled! Lord Cat is definitely taking him into the Earth Palace to crush anyone who defies and any posers who get in my way! GAGAGA!’
It let out a series of strange cackles, a sly grin plastered on its face. It seed to be picturing itself leading Pann Wu around, beating everyone who annoyed it to the ground, forcing them to kneel and beg for rcy, crying, "Lord Cat, spare us!"
After a mont, it reluctantly returned to its senses and said, "Big oaf, let’s go. We have to catch up to the Lord Priest!"
Pann Wu glanced at the Dragon Cat but said nothing more. ’Since it’s the Lord Priest’s pet, I should respect it,’ he thought. With that, he finally started walking again.
Ye Wushuang’s figure was already far in the distance.
