In the Crystal Space, the three halls differed not only in the color of their exteriors, but more significantly in the auras they emanated, creating two entirely different sensations.

It wasn’t so much that the two black halls clashed with the golden one, but rather that the golden hall itself stood out. This was quite strange.

Ye Wushuang pondered for a mont and began to speak. "I choose..."

"KA KA KA! Choose the black hall on the right!"

Before Ye Wushuang could utter another word, the Dragon Cat started squawking.

Hearing this, Ye Wushuang barely resisted the urge to go over and beat the creature up. ’The golden hall is obviously different,’ he thought. ’The opportunities inside must be far more precious.’

’If I miss out, wouldn’t this whole trip be a waste?’

’Thankfully, the decision is still mine to make.’ Ye Wushuang congratulated himself internally.

CREAK!

But just then, Ye Wushuang froze. After a brief pause, the great doors of the black hall on the right swung open.

’What’s going on?’

Ye Wushuang’s face darkened, and he felt utterly dejected. ’Wasn’t I the one who made it to the ninety-ninth floor?’

"KA KA! Kid, hurry up and see what good treasures there are!" The Dragon Cat, oblivious to Ye Wushuang’s murderous glare, charged forward in excitent.

"An Ancient dicine King: True Dragon Immortal Mushroom!"

"A Celestial Treasure: Deep Blue Star Gold!"

"KA KA KA! What treasures! What treasures!"

The Dragon Cat’s excited voice rang out from within the black hall.

Ye Wushuang glanced at the golden hall. Though he was unwilling, he had no other choice.

He stepped into the hall and was t with a dazzling array of peerless treasures.

The Spirit dicines were all at the Treasure dicine Level or higher. Among them were two Ancient dicine Kings: one was a True Dragon Immortal Mushroom, and the other was a Phoenix Nirvana Fruit.

The True Dragon Immortal Mushroom was shaped like a miniature True Dragon. Its entire body was like jade, shimring with an immortal light. Its dense Dao Charm made the Dragon Spirit Bloodline in Ye Wushuang’s veins boil.

The Phoenix Nirvana Fruit was a fiery-red fruit wreathed in flas, resembling a ball of fire. Upon its surface, a vision of a Phoenix played out, endlessly cycling through extinction, Nirvana, and rebirth.

It contained the Profound aning of Nirvana, making it incomparable to any ordinary item. If taken out into the world, it would undoubtedly incite a bloodbath.

The Dragon Cat grabbed the two Ancient dicine Kings, its eyes gleaming, and prepared to swallow them both in one go.

But how could Ye Wushuang allow it to commit such a sacrilegious waste? ’What a complete waste!’

Before the two Ancient dicine Kings could even reach the Dragon Cat’s mouth, a pair of hands flashed before its eyes. Its paws were suddenly empty, with nothing but a gust of residual wind rustling its white fur.

The Dragon Cat was dumbfounded. It whipped its head around to see Ye Wushuang, with a calm expression, storing the two Ancient dicine Kings away.

"You damn bastard! Lord Cat’s treasures!" the Dragon Cat let out a heart-wrenching shriek. Ye Wushuang had snatched its treasures again.

"My treasures! Kid, Lord Cat will fight you for this!"

Looking ready to risk life and limb, the Dragon Cat charged at Ye Wushuang, seething with rage.

Using a Floating Light Flash, Ye Wushuang dodged aside and also stored away the ocean-blue Deep Blue Star Gold into his True Dragon Space.

’Deep Blue Star Gold is a Celestial Treasure, a peerless material,’ Ye Wushuang thought. ’If I fuse it into my Dragon Blood Battle Saber, its quality will improve significantly.’

In addition, the hall contained massive quantities of Elixirs, terrifying Beast Bones, Spiritual Artifacts, Treasure Soldiers, and more.

Without even giving them a second glance, Ye Wushuang swept them all into his True Dragon Space.

’Now that I’ve decided to build my own force, resources are essential. These treasures are the perfect supplent.’

As the Dragon Cat desperately tried to fight him, Ye Wushuang simply dodged while continuing to collect the items in the hall one by one.

The Dragon Cat realized sothing was amiss, snapped back to its senses, and joined in on the plundering. It snatched up everything in sight.

Ye Wushuang had no idea where the creature was even storing everything.

’Does it swallow them and just spit them out later when it needs them?’

The man and cat stripped the place bare, so thorough that they didn’t even leave dust behind. They didn’t have ti to properly examine what shocking treasures they might have found.

Staring at the completely empty hall, the Dragon Cat estimated that Ye Wushuang had taken at least two-thirds of the treasure.

That included Combat Techniques and Skills, Spiritual Artifacts and Treasure Soldiers, and Celestial Treasure Spirit dicines—enough for an ordinary force to rise to prominence.

’That damn kid!’

The more the Dragon Cat thought about it, the angrier it beca; it was practically coughing up blood from sheer frustration.

"Dead Cat, you only eat Spirit dicines, don’t you? Hand over the other stuff you grabbed. I have a use for it," Ye Wushuang said, putting his things away while looking at the Dragon Cat with a broad grin.

"Why, you..."

The Dragon Cat nearly fainted from anger, its beady eyes rolling back in its head. ’Not only did Ye Wushuang steal my treasures, now he’s trying to rob too! He’s a bandit! A complete bandit!’

’How did Lord Cat end up with this bastard? Lord Cat is the one who robs others! No one has ever dared to rob Lord Cat!’

’This is the worst luck of eight lifetis!’

"I have nothing! Nothing!"

The Dragon Cat yelled, driven purely by the anger Ye Wushuang had provoked in it.

Seeing its reaction, Ye Wushuang paused for a mont before the corner of his lip curled up. "Fine, you have nothing. No need to get so worked up about it. Let’s go."

After a final glance at the Dragon Cat, Ye Wushuang walked out of the hall.

The Dragon Cat also seed to think of sothing and dashed out of the hall.

"Experinter, please choose a hall."

As Ye Wushuang exited the black hall, the chanical voice unexpectedly rang out again.

Ye Wushuang stopped in his tracks, stunned.

As if a thought struck him, he suddenly turned to the Dragon Cat and asked, "Don’t tell you..."

"You damn kid, now you get it, don’t you? Now you get it?! Lord Cat is an Experinter too! Lord Cat gets a share of the opportunities here!"

Seeing the look of dawning realization on Ye Wushuang’s face, the Dragon Cat wanted to cry. In its excitent earlier, it had forgotten to ntion this, resulting in a colossal loss. Two-thirds of the treasure...

"Kid, Lord Cat will give you one chance. Give the treasures back—all of them! Otherwise, Lord Cat’s wounded little heart will never be able to heal."

The Dragon Cat clung to Ye Wushuang’s thigh, making it clear it wouldn’t let go until he complied.

’A wounded little heart that will never be able to heal?’

Ye Wushuang sneered and stared down at the Dragon Cat. "Let ask you, wasn’t I the one who brought you up here?"

The Dragon Cat’s beady eyes darted around. "So what?"

"Since you admit it, isn’t it only right and proper that I collect a small fee for my troubles?" Ye Wushuang asked again, feeling it necessary to reason with the creature.

’Kid, you’re unbelievably shaless!’ The Dragon Cat nearly coughed up blood. ’A small fee for your troubles is two-thirds of the treasure? This is extortion!’

Ye Wushuang couldn’t be bothered to deal with it. He selected the golden hall and strode inside.

Fuming, the Dragon Cat followed close behind. It made up its mind: ’The second I get inside that hall, I’m grabbing two-thirds of the treasure as compensation.’

But the mont it set foot inside, the Dragon Cat was dumbfounded.

There were no treasures on the floor; it was completely empty.

Ye Wushuang, however, did not see it that way. In the air before him, at least, there was a single character.

Emperor!

In the air before him floated a ball of brilliant golden light. The light enveloped the character for "Emperor," which stood like a supre sovereign, its throne shaking heaven and earth.

The Dragon Cat’s view was blocked by Ye Wushuang, so it didn’t see it right away.

However, feeling the imnse pressure from all directions, it sensed that sothing was off and moved to Ye Wushuang’s side.

It suddenly looked up. Its beady eyes instantly lit up, shining with a brilliant light. Pointing at the character for "Emperor," it stamred, "This... this... this is... a Dao Fruit inheritance..."
