Chen Kun roared in fury as majestic True Qi erupted from his body like a bursting dam.
BOOM! A rolling wave of Qi knocked Ye Wushuang’s foot away. Simultaneously, a massive hand ford of True Qi slapped toward his chest, its shimring light covering a ten-ter area, leaving no room to escape.
Ye Wushuang’s eyes narrowed. He unleashed a punch as fast as lightning, striking the very center of the True Qi hand. With a loud BANG, he shattered it.
The terrifying shockwave sent Ye Wushuang flying backward. He staggered back more than a dozen steps and spat out a mouthful of blood.
"Brother Ye!"
Below the stage, Yangg Qing’er’s expression changed dramatically. She clenched her delicate fists, desperate to rush onto the stage herself.
"Xiaoshuang!"
anwhile, in a crowd of beautiful young won below the stage, an exquisite lady in a blue embroidered dress was just as anxious. It was Ye Rou, who had hurried over after hearing what was happening. Her eyes, full of tension and worry, were locked on Ye Wushuang.
"Serves him right. An arrogant fool like him deserves to die!" a beautiful woman dressed in red beside Ye Rou sneered. Seeing Ye Rou’s worried expression, she began to taunt her.
"Cai Hongi, shut your mouth!" Ye Rou instantly grew furious. She turned to glare at Cai Hongi, her killing intent flaring as a terrifying aura burst forth. She and Cai Hongi had a history. She could ignore Cai Hongi’s hatred for her, but for Cai Hongi to project that hatred onto Ye Wushuang and viciously curse him—that was sothing she would never tolerate.
"Ye Rou, are you looking for a fight?" Seeing Ye Rou unleash her aura, several young won at the Qi Vortex Realm beside Cai Hongi shouted fiercely, about to step forward.
"A fight? Who’s afraid of who?" The young won beside Ye Rou shouted back, stepping up to stand with her and face the others.
"Alright, that’s enough!" Cai Hongi stopped them, then chuckled in a strange, taunting tone. "Let’s get back to watching the stage. You wouldn’t want to miss the mont Ye Wushuang is killed. I, for one, can’t wait to see a certain soone writhing in agony."
"If he dies, I will slaughter every last person who insulted him, bullied him, or tried to kill him." Ye Rou had no ti to waste on Cai Hongi. She stared at Ye Wushuang and made a solemn, chillingly domineering vow.
On the stage, Chen Kun laughed wantonly. "Ye Wushuang, if you had bided your ti and laid low for a few years, you might have had a chance to kill . But you’re far too arrogant. You’ve made your move too soon, and now you will never get another opportunity."
"Is that so? I just wonder... does your face hurt?" Ye Wushuang wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, a mocking smile blooming on his face.
Hurt?
Chen Kun snapped out of it. He subconsciously reached up to touch his face, and a searing pain imdiately assaulted him, making him grit his teeth.
SWOOSH!
Everyone below involuntarily turned their gazes to Chen Kun’s face. There, a large footprint was branded onto his cheek like a seal, red, swollen, and shockingly conspicuous.
Wasn’t that the footprint Ye Wushuang had left behind?
’That damn punk... He kicks the guy in the face, then asks him if it hurts!’
Now, Chen Kun was truly about to go berserk.
"Look, Ye Wushuang is smiling! The guy can actually still manage a smile at a ti like this."
"That lunatic provoked Chen Kun, and he’s still smiling. Chen Kun will probably torture him rcilessly before finally killing him."
Gazing at Ye Wushuang’s smiling face, soone in the crowd pointed and cried out in astonishnt. Everyone else stared, their mouths hanging open.
"This boy is too arrogant. To provoke Chen Kun is just blind ignorance!" so of the Elders comnted with a frown, their words dripping with sarcasm.
"This kid... sigh." Elder Wuu, who was in the crowd, also let out a sigh. ’I don’t know what he’s thinking. If he had just laid low, he would have been an absolute genius. What a pity.’
"This kid is not so simple. I don’t think he’s the reckless type," Elder Yunn murmured beside him. He then turned to Elder Wuu with a smile. "Old Wuu, have you taken a liking to the boy?"
"To be honest, I admire his madness and ferocity," Elder Wuu sighed again. "But the boy doesn’t know when to press on and when to fall back. He’s provoked Chen Kun again and again. I’m afraid this won’t end well for him."
"Don’t be so sure. Perhaps this kid’s madness has a few more tricks up its sleeve," Elder Yunn replied lightly, his ancient, profound eyes filled with a trace of anticipation as he gazed at the stage.
As expected, Ye Wushuang’s pointed reminder sent Chen Kun into a towering rage.
"Collapse of Mountains and Rivers!"
"Ye Wushuang, I will grind your bones to dust!"
Chen Kun bellowed in rage, crossing several ters in a single stride to close in on Ye Wushuang. When he was just over ten ters away, he lunged into the air, swinging a colossal Palm Seal down on Ye Wushuang.
His True Qi ford a series of terrifying Palm Seals that glowed with a brilliant light. Carrying the montum of the Collapse of Mountains and Rivers, they descended to deliver a fatal blow. The sheer force and speed displaced the air, sending it rippling outward in all directions.

Seeing the technique Chen Kun had just unleashed, the crowd’s hearts trembled. Even the Elders below were completely stunned!

At the sa ti, Ye Wushuang let out a cold shout, his eyes flashing with a ruthless light.
He stomped hard with one foot and strode forward. The Qi and blood in his hand surged, coalescing into a crimson glow that radiated an icy chill.
"Kill!"
The calm, cold word spread through the air, suffusing it with a murderous chill.
SWISH!
Instantly, the smile on Chen Kun’s face froze. A sliver of fear unexpectedly sprouted in his heart. He had felt this murderous intent before, in the Fierce Demon Cave. It was the sa aura Ye Wushuang had radiated when he killed Anx Jun.
Suddenly, Chen Kun grew serious. He unleashed the terrifying energy of his four Qi Vortexes, transforming it into an overwhelming sky full of Palm Seals that blasted toward Ye Wushuang without leaving a single gap. The vast True Qi seed to set the void ablaze, making the very air boil.
"Trying to kill ? You’re not capable!" Chen Kun sneered darkly.
"We’ll see about that!"
The mont Chen Kun spoke, a cold voice cut through the air. Ye Wushuang was seen charging toward the Palm Seals like a moth drawn to a fla.
’Holy shit, has that madman Ye Wushuang lost his mind? He’s actually charging to his death!’ The hearts of the crowd below pounded as they stared in shock at Ye Wushuang rushing toward the sky full of Palm Seals. They were utterly convinced that if he clashed with them, he would be rcilessly blasted into dust.
But.
Ye Wushuang did not stop. Instead, he shot forward like a gale of wind. At the sa ti, a ghostly light blood from his finger. Sword Intent crossed through the air, like a bolt of lightning streaking across the void.
In an instant, the piercing Sword Qi, indestructible and all-annihilating, tore through everything in its path, ripping the sky full of Palm Seals to shreds.
RUMBLE!
SCHRRIP!
The sky full of Palm Seals disintegrated into a storm of violent energy and shockwaves, which spread out in rings, forcing the crowd around the stage back more than ten ters.
THUD!
A figure was sent flying, crashing heavily onto the ground with a loud THUD. Blood rained down, spattering across the ground.
After a mont, the violent storm of energy began to subside.
Who won?
Everyone quickly focused their gaze on the stage. They saw an upright figure standing firm amidst the energy storm, his white robes fluttering wildly in the astral winds. Though he looked battered, the corner of his mouth was curled into an ice-cold sneer.
And at the edge of the fighting stage, Chen Kun lay sprawled on the ground. His shoulder had been sliced clean off, revealing the ghastly white of his bone. Blood gushed out in a ceaseless, miserable flow.
Instantly, everyone below was dumbfounded and incredulous. Their jaws dropped so wide you could fit a washbasin in them. Chen Kun, at the Qi Vortex Second Layer and master of a Fifth-Grade Combat Skill, had been nearly cleaved in two by soone at the Body Tempering Ninth Layer? He was on the verge of death?
