Now reading: Chapter 88: I’m Really Crippled from Dragon Blood Saint Emperor, a Eastern novel by Awakened to Emptiness.

The Ye Family mbers were overco with sha. Ye Hai, in particular, was so embarrassed he wished the ground would swallow him whole. Seeing this, Ye Wushuang couldn’t help but laugh.

As for Ye Xiong, he stared at Ye Wushuang and his father, his gaze flickering. It was impossible to know what he was thinking.

Then, Ye Xue suddenly added, "Besides, that bastard’s injuries aren’t nearly that serious!"

"What!"

Upon hearing this, Ye Xiao’s gaze instantly sharpened. He fixed a piercing stare on Luo Wu, and the terrifying intensity of it made Luo Wu panic. He lowered his head, not daring to et Ye Xiao’s eyes.

At this mont, it was crystal clear to Ye Xiao: the Luo Family had co to extort them.

Seeing this, Luo Xun’s mind raced. He snorted coldly. "Who would believe the nonsense of a little girl? Everyone saw Ye Wushuang cripple my son’s arm. Don’t tell the Ye Family plans to deny it?"

After speaking, Luo Xun turned his head and shot Luo Wu a subtle glance.

How could Luo Wu not understand the signal? He imdiately contorted his face in pain and began to wail, "Father, my bones are shattered! My arm is crippled! You can’t let Ye Wushuang get away with this!"

Seeing this, Ye Wushuang smiled coldly and stepped forward. "Are you sure your bones are shattered?"

"You bastard! You’re the one who struck him, are you going to deny it?" Luo Xun roared at Ye Wushuang, simultaneously releasing the oppressive aura of a True Essence Powerhouse to bear down on him.

But Ye Wushuang’s expression remained placid, completely unmoved. His eyes, however, were already radiating a bone-chilling cold. Since his father, Ye Xuan, was still the Patriarch of the Ye Family, he didn’t want to cause him any trouble. ’Otherwise, I would kill Luo Xun here and now!’

"I really don’t believe it. I want to have a look for myself!" Ye Wushuang’s cold gaze softened, replaced by a smile as he walked toward Luo Wu.

Luo Xun didn’t stop him. ’The arm is on my son. So what if Ye Wushuang checks it and finds it isn’t crippled? As long as I insist it is, what can he do?’

’But I’ll let Ye Wushuang go through the motions. It will let continue this charade, and those ten stalks of Spirit dicine will be as good as mine!’

Ye Wushuang walked up to Luo Wu and looked at him with a cold smile.

"What are you trying to do?" Luo Wu was afraid. He saw the malicious intent in Ye Wushuang’s eyes.

Luo Xun called out with a sneer, "Luo Wu, let him check! Let’s make the Ye Family accept their defeat!"

Ye Xiong, Ye Xiao, and the others knew exactly what Luo Xun was plotting. They inwardly cursed Ye Wushuang’s foolishness. ’What an idiot, rushing forward at a ti like this.’

Ye Wushuang simply smiled at him. For so reason, this sent a chill down Luo Wu’s spine. Still, to keep up the act, he started wailing again.

At this, Ye Wushuang’s smile grew even wider. He suddenly grabbed Luo Wu’s arm. With a low rumble, a violent surge of Dragon Spirit True Qi—infused with Geng tal Killing Power and the Power of thunder and lightning—poured from his five fingers into Luo Wu’s arm.

CRACK!

CRACK!

In that instant, a series of sickening cracks echoed out, making the hair of the two n supporting Luo Wu stand on end.

"AHHH!"

A piercing, miserable scream erupted from Luo Wu’s mouth, sharp enough to pierce the clouds.

"It hurts! I’m finished, my arm is crippled!" Luo Wu’s face contorted in agony. The bones in his arm had been completely pulverized by Ye Wushuang’s True Qi, shattered inch by inch.

The mbers of the Luo Family were left speechless. ’Holy hell,’ they thought, ’does he have to be so convincing? Luo Wu is one hell of an actor.’

Seeing this, the mouths of the Ye Family mbers twitched and their faces darkened. ’Luo Wu’s shalessness is truly on another level!’

"Do you have anything else to say now?" Luo Xun couldn’t stop sneering. He was completely taken in by his son’s performance. ’He’s incredible!’ he thought, secretly overjoyed. ’The more pitifully he screams, the better!’

But little did he know that Luo Wu’s arm was now well and truly crippled. Those weren’t the screams of an actor; they were genuine. The agony of shattered bones was a pain that pierced the very soul.

"That’s right, it’s definitely broken!" Ye Wushuang said with a smile, releasing Luo Wu’s arm. If anyone had bothered to look closely, they would have seen that arm hanging limply in the air like a piece of dead at.

Unfortunately, everyone’s gaze was fixed on Ye Wushuang. As for Luo Wu, he was in so much pain he was on the verge of fainting.

"Father, my arm is broken! It’s broken!" Luo Wu wailed again and again, but no one paid him any attention, not even his own father.

At this, Luo Xun gave a cold smile and seized the opportunity. "Ye Xuan, even Ye Wushuang has admitted it now. What more is there to say? An arm, or ten stalks of Ninth-Grade Spiritual dicine. The choice is yours."

"You’ll get no arm, and you’ll get no Spirit dicine!" Ye Wushuang walked to Ye Xuan’s side, then abruptly spun around to face Luo Xun. He coldly spat out a single word: "Scram!"

"Insolence! A re junior dares to yell at ? Today, I’ll teach you a lesson on your father’s behalf!"

Luo Xun’s expression was thunderous. Being publicly berated by a junior had caused him to lose all face. Murderous intent flashed in his eyes as he prepared to charge at Ye Wushuang.

"You dare!"

Ye Xuan moved in a flash, his burly fra blocking Ye Wushuang from the attack.

"Brother, don’t forget your position! You must put the family first!" Ye Xiong interjected from the side. His aning was obvious: don’t deepen the feud with the Luo Family over Ye Wushuang.

"I know how to handle this. You don’t need to concern yourself," Ye Xuan said with a grim face, shooting a glance at Ye Xiong. ’To think he’d still try to undermine at a ti like this. It’s infuriating.’

"Father, my arm is really broken!"

Nearby, Luo Wu had collapsed to the ground in pain. His wails had grown weaker, but they were still laced with extre agony.

Luo Xun finally sensed sothing was wrong. He stepped forward to examine his son, and his expression changed instantly. He discovered that Luo Wu’s arm was genuinely crippled. The bones were completely shattered, damaged beyond any hope of recovery.

The rest of the Luo Family seed to sense sothing was amiss as well, and strange expressions crept onto their faces.

At this mont, Luo Wu felt an overwhelming urge to cry. ’Finally,’ he thought. ’You finally noticed!’

"You damned little beast! You’re so ruthless! I’ll kill you!" Luo Xun roared. He now understood that Ye Wushuang had used the "examination" as a pretext to truly cripple his son’s arm. And he, his own father, hadn’t even realized it, despite Luo Wu’s bloodcurdling screams.

At this thought, his fury surged like an erupting volcano. He thrust out a hand, forming a massive True Essence Palm that frantically absorbed the surrounding Essence Qi.

BOOM!

Luo Xun strode forward, bringing the giant palm crashing down on Ye Wushuang!

"Scram!"

Before Ye Wushuang could even move, a cold glint flashed in Ye Xuan’s eyes as he t the attack with a palm of his own. BOOM! The two palms collided, and the imnse True Essence from both attacks crashed together before dissipating into a terrifying shockwave that sent both n flying backward.

The nearby crowd’s expressions changed drastically as they scrambled back more than a dozen steps.

"Ye Xuan, you..." PFFT!

Luo Xun staggered back more than ten steps, his face twisting in shock as he stared at Ye Xuan. Then, he spat out a mouthful of blood.

Ye Xuan was also forced back, landing in front of Ye Wushuang. His own qi and blood roiled, and a mouthful of blood rose in his throat, but he forcefully swallowed it back down.

"Very well," Luo Xun said, his expression dark and sinister. He glared at Ye Xuan. "Since you insist on protecting him, you’d better be prepared to do it for the rest of his life. The mont I catch him alone, I will kill him." He then turned and said hurriedly to his n, "Let’s go!"

PFFT!

He hadn’t gone far before he spat out another mouthful of blood.

In front of the Ye Mansion, Ye Wushuang rushed forward to support Ye Xuan. "Father, are you all right?"

"I’m fine. I’ll be all right after a little rest. Let’s go inside," Ye Xuan said with a faint smile, trying to hide his condition. But how could Ye Wushuang not know that his father was also injured?

At this thought, a cold glint flashed in Ye Wushuang’s eyes. ’Luo Xun, you will pay for this!’

After shooting one last cold glance at the departing mbers of the Luo Family, Ye Wushuang and Ye Rou helped Ye Xuan through the main gate. As for the other Ye Family mbers standing by, he didn’t spare them a single glance. ’They weren’t worthy.’
