Upon hearing this, Yin Li felt bewildered and shook her head, saying, "No, I don't want to go out. I just want to eat ice cream here, bask in the sun, and take a nap..."

Yin Li blinked her big eyes, thinking that he perhaps had a point.
But she suspected Mu Jinyu wouldn't take her out for no reason, so she asked, "Did you run into so trouble?"

"Dragon King, you're here, and your speed is indeed swift..."
Bai Xiaosheng began to complint Mu Jinyu.

He thought of waiting to see where Bai Xiaosheng would lead him. If it's indeed the gorge Yin Li ntioned, then things would be easier to handle, and dealing with the Omniscient wouldn't be impossible in the future.

Bai Xiaosheng smiled slightly, his figure flickered and flashed a few hundred ters away, and then once again flickered and flashed several hundred ters further.
Seeing this, Mu Jinyu gently patted Yin Li in his arms, signaling her to hide well, and then he stepped forward to follow.
Soon, Mu Jinyu was following Bai Xiaosheng closely, arriving outside a fog-dense gorge.
Seeing the gorge, Mu Jinyu's face did not change, but inwardly he praised.
Because the gorge was exactly the place Yin Li had just told him had so issues.

Raising his eyes to look inside, Mu Jinyu saw deep within the gorge, a figure clad in a black robe, with face and form hidden within. He sat cross-legged on a massive black stone, two ters high and 1.2 ters wide.
With Mu Jinyu's gaze fixed on him, the man also lifted his head, revealing the face hidden under the black robe.
"This..."
Seeing the other's face, Mu Jinyu shuddered, nearly stepping back.
The face was covered with toad-like pustules, the eye sockets were flesh turned outwards, the eyeballs gouged out, the head devoid of any hair, yet riddled with suture scars, dense like dozens of centipedes crawling over...
"Bai Xiaosheng?"
Mu Jinyu composed himself, his eyes flickered, he asked.

The bizarre figure spoke, the voice exactly the sa as the previously weak one.

Even though it felt like rubbing salt into a wound, Mu Jinyu couldn't resist his curiosity. Moreover, he trusted that Bai Xiaosheng wouldn't be deeply affected by such a question, so he asked.
Bai Xiaosheng slightly shook his head, saying, "An accident nearly took my life. Though I barely survived, I ended up as an ugly monster."
