Seeing this, Aditya froze. He knew an attack of this humongous scale would wipe them out instantly.
He did not wait for Carrick to finish his next words.
He teleported in front of Laura, Athena, and Rin. "See you in a few seconds if there is an afterlife." The Magic Circle lit up to maximum by that ti.
『Dragon Monarch’s Domain』
The next second, a huge chaotic explosion took place. The explosion was so massive that it wiped out a big part of the Grimwood Forest.

A blinding sphere of fire erupted into the sky, expanding in an instant. It rose like a pillar of destruction, stretching higher and higher before forming a massive mushroom cloud of flas and thick black smoke.
The sky turned crimson. The fire kept boiling upward, while the base of the explosion spread across the land like a burning tide.
Then,
The shockwave followed.

A terrifying wave of force burst out from the centre, sweeping in all directions. The ground cracked violently as the pressure tore through everything in its path. Trees were ripped out of the earth like they were nothing. Entire sections of the forest were flattened instantly.

"That was close!!!" He had used up almost all of his Mana. Right now, he only has around [10 ] Mana left. If his Mana had reached zero, then he would have fainted by now.
"I thought it was over for us." The explosion covered an area of 10,000 km (≈ 6,213 miles) in radius. Even with normal teleportation, it was just impossible to ran out of the area of explosion.
"I would rather die than let you girls die on my watch." Aditya said with an exhuasted smile.
His cheeky line made the girls smile.
Rin almost throw herself in his arms and kissed him. But she controlled herself at the last second.
But Laura did not care. They had just survived death. She wanted to hug her man which she did. She gently hugged him from behind.
"That was such a nice plan." Aditya had to admire the Goddess of Wisdom’s quick thinking. Each of them worked so hard and deed their parts so well that they were able to win.
"Hehe!! Athena had anticipated that even if you have the advantage of landing the first blow on him things will quickly turn around. You might have matched his stats but there was a clear gap between a beginner seventh order and a beginner fifth order." The biggest gap was Aditya skills were still fifth order rank but the rank of his skills was seventh order. So in terms of quality and power his skills were superior.
"You are right." Aditya had no sha in admitting that. Carrick’s last move, the Horror of Death clearly showed that difference.
"So Athena quickly created a plan to keep him distracted long enough for you to learn the final blow." One thing that Aditya had more than his opponent was Mana.

Rin had managed to hold a beginner seventh order in her spiritual realm for more than a few seconds which itself was a very admirable and impressive feat.
"Yeah! I have taken Healing and Mana Recovery Pills. Just give enough ti to rest I should be fine."
Rembering this, Aditya also took a Peak 5-star Mana Recovery pill.
In this place, staying without Mana was like inviting preys to co and eat themselves.

General Nico William was one of those people who were on the Organisation’s hit list. The General was Currently investigating about the Organisation and they had a pretty good lead as well. Leo found Nico William’s presence as a hindrance especially since he was a General and his brother was one of the powerful Dukes of the Celestial Dragon Empire.
This is why killing Nico William before Aditya spread his influence was very necessary.

"Who is hunting for the Dragon Monarch?" He could not help but ask.
"It’s Carrick."
"No offense sir, but sending Carrick to do the job instead of is a big mistake."
"Carrick is hot headed. He thinks he is smart but he is not."
"Are you questioning my decision?" Leo’s voice turned cold.
"I wouldn’t dare, Sir!" The man replied in a hurried tone without daring to look Leo in the eye. He even felt that the temperature of the room had dropped.
"Even if Carrick fails or fails to find them at all, it does not matter. Tomorrow, Aditya will attend the funeral of General Nico William. As this funerable would be the perfect place for him to annouce his return to the Celestial Dragon Empire."
