She picked up the teacup and took a sip.

Yu Ruohuan was so furious she jumped, roaring in rage, "Shen You’an, you’re looking for death!"
Shen You’an jumped away from her like dodging the plague. "So scary. You get angry just because I told the truth. Honestly, Yu Ruohuan, have you not looked in a mirror? Look at the state you’re in now. You sucked away my luck and got hit by the backlash. How many days do you think you’ve got left? I’m only talking to you out of pity."
Yu Ruohuan was so enraged her heart seized; she suddenly coughed up a mouthful of blood, her face turning ghostly pale.
Gu Bichen walked over with a dark expression. "She’s already at the end of her rope. Why must you kick her when she’s down?"
Shen You’an gave him a cold, mocking glance. "A cheap woman keeps pushing her luck, and I’m supposed to stick my face out so she can slap it? You’re really good at being generous with other people’s dignity."
Gu Bichen frowned and looked at Shen You’an. "You’ve changed."
That quiet, gentle Shen You’an would forever remain only in his mories.
Shen You’an smiled and shook her head. "Gu Bichen, you haven’t changed, have you?"
Gu Bichen fell silent.
Shen You’an glanced at Yu Ruohuan, whose face was twisted in pain inside the car. "I really want to know what handle she’s got on you that makes you obey her every word, to the point you’d even sell your body."
Shen You’an’s words were vicious, and Gu Bichen’s face turned ugly with embarrassnt.
He turned and got into the car, very much like a cowardly escape with his tail between his legs.
Watching the car drive off, Shen You’an said to Liu Runxi, who was walking up, "Do you think Gu Bichen’s change has anything to do with his background?"
Liu Runxi shook his head. "I don’t know."
"Forget it, we’ll talk when the test results co out."

Shen You’an turned her head, saw who it was, and smiled.
