In early May, Shen You’an low-key joined the crew of "Wintergreen".
At the kickoff ceremony, Director Xie Quan, producer Chen Hua, and male lead Chen Fangzhou all gathered together.
Having just gone through a dia storm, Chen Fangzhou looked a bit tired, but his spirits seed good.
The fight for public opinion against Liang Ruofan was won beautifully.
Chen Fangzhou, having weathered many ups and downs in the entertainnt industry for years, was well aware of his victory was thanks to soone supporting him from behind.
Chen Fangzhou glanced at the young girl standing to Director Xie Quan’s left, respectfully performing the worship ceremony with the director.
She was personally chosen by Director Xie Quan for the female lead role. This girl was a newcor, but her acting skills were outstanding. After watching the recent success "Double Shadows", she had to admit that she was a genius at acting, made for this industry.
As an award-winning actor, Liang Ruofan never elevates others. If he appeared in "Wintergreen", then Shen You’an could only be reduced to a supporting role. The entertainnt industry values seniority, and no matter how influential Shen You’an might be, it’s difficult to surpass Liang Ruofan.
But now that Liang Ruofan was out of the picture and he was taking over the male lead role, having just gone through a dia storm, he urgently needed top-tier resources to recover. As such, the contract specified that he was to play the secondary male role to Shen You’an.
If accepted, he would sign the contract and join the crew. If not, the crew would find another male actor.
In his current situation, he had no other choice.

Seeing Chen Fangzhou wavering, his manager delivered a final blow.

These words completely enlightened Chen Fangzhou.
Director Xie Quan was a very seasoned comrcial director with a high-quality filming team. The shooting period was a month, with the first half taking place dostically, then relocating to Southeast Asian countries for further shooting.
The first day of officially joining the crew was marked by an encounter scene with Shen You’an.
Chen Fangzhou prided himself on his outstanding acting skills; having weathered the industry for so long without being outcast by the market was a testant to his exceptional talent. Yet, in the first scene with Shen You’an, he was astounded by her professionalism and talent.
He had worked with young actors before, and likely due to the prevailing industry environnt, most young actors couldn’t maintain composure and often exuded restlessness, making it tough for them to settle down and act.
Shen You’an, however, was an exception. She was mature, dedicated, hard-working, and incredibly talented, needing no direction from the director. When the director called action, her eyes and deanor seamlessly transford. In that instant, she beca one with her character.
Chen Fangzhou realized he had underestimated Shen You’an, and from that point on, he gave his all in filming. When strong actors et even stronger ones, it’s a pinnacle showdown of acting skills.
Director Xie Quan, sitting at the monitor, watched the two bring their scenes to life with joy.
After filming that day, Shen You’an habitually sought out Director Xie Quan to discuss her performance.
Chen Fangzhou, not wanting to fall behind, also made sure to stay sharp. Partnering with Shen You’an, a smarter person who works even harder, constantly challenged his understanding.
Just as they began to chat, Xiaonan ca running in, first politely greeting Director Xie and Chen Fangzhou, then walked over to Shen You’an and whispered, "An’an, soone’s looking for you."
Shen You’an raised her brows, "Who?"
Xiaonan’s cheeks blushed, "A very handso, handso guy!"
Shen You’an imdiately understood, and before she could say a word, Director Xie laughed and said, "Hurry along, don’t keep the handso guy waiting."
"Thank you, Director."
Shen You’an quickly left.
Director Xie watched Shen You’an’s departing figure, noting how despite her professional maturity at work, her eager steps revealed her innocence—and she was indeed a girl in full bloom.
"What kind of handso guy makes our Miss Shen so eager?" Chen Fangzhou mused.
Director Xie raised his eyebrows at him, "Curious?"
Chen Fangzhou just smiled and said nothing.
Curiosity killed the cat.
Shen You’an lifted the curtain of the lounge and imdiately saw the young man standing by the window. The dim light cast a soft glow on him, and as he turned, warmth enveloped him, overflowing from his once-cold eyes.
Shen You’an’s hurried steps suddenly beca composed, as she stood silently at the door, gazing at him.
Liu Runxi shook the thermos flask in his hand. His voice, as clear and cold as frost and snow, carried a trace of tenderness, like an invisible hook that tugged at the heart.
"I ca to visit without an invitation. I hope I’m not disturbing you?"
Shen You’an shook her head with a smile, stepping forward, "Just in ti, I’m starving."
Liu Runxi opened the thermos, revealing four dishes and a soup, all Shen You’an’s favorites.
The color, aroma, and taste were all excellent. Shen You’an imdiately knew he had made it himself.
The university genius even excelled at cooking.
Shen You’an took a bite of the shrimp, and her taste buds were satisfied, her exhaustion from the day seed to vanish.
Liu Runxi served a bowl of yam and pork rib soup in front of her, his long fingers making even the act of holding a ladle look like art.
