Liu Runxi glanced at the large red nu on the opposite wall, with the signature fried rice noodles at the top.
"Fried rice noodles, please."
"Anything you don’t eat?"
Liu Runxi thought for a mont and said, a bit embarrassed, "Could you leave out the green onions, ginger, and garlic?"
The owner understood, "No problem."
Shen You’an said, "The sa for , but I’ll have everything."
The owner smiled, "Please wait a mont."
Soon, the owner ca over with a hot water kettle and poured tea for the two of them.
"This is my homade asparagus radish tea, perfect for autumn to clear heat and moisten dryness, good for the lungs."
Before leaving, the owner glanced at the little girl clinging to Liu Runxi, "Don’t make trouble for the guests, okay?"
The little girl nodded obediently, and only then did the owner return to the kitchen.
The little girl sat quietly next to Liu Runxi, playing with the pinwheel in her hand.
Liu Runxi took a sip of the tea; the radish flavor was quite strong, and the first sip almost made him gag, but after getting used to it, the taste started to grow on him.
"Are you ready for the physics competition next week?" Liu Runxi stared at the light-colored tea in the disposable cup and asked softly.
Shen You’an glanced at him, knowing Liu Runxi was also preparing for the physics competition.
"There’s nothing much to prepare, just rely on usual accumulation."
Liu Runxi shook his head and smiled, "I guess that’s why I got the nickna Second Liu."
Her mindset was great, indifferent to gains and losses.
Although exams relied on usual accumulation, they also tested one’s mindset.
In the middle school entrance exam, she fainted with a high fever but still erged as the top scorer.
Back then, Liu Runxi knew he could never surpass her.
So people seem weak on the outside but are incredibly resilient inside.
Just then, several n burst into the shop, and the tattooed lead man shouted viciously, "Lei Laoer, get out here."
The little girl shuddered and started crying.
The man glared nacingly and pointed at the little girl, cursing, "Why are you crying? If you keep crying, I’ll gouge your eyes out."
Liu Runxi raised a hand to cover the little girl’s eyes and squinted over at them.
The young man sat quietly, clearly not very old. For so reason, his calm gaze carried an air of authority.
The man subconsciously felt tense but realized he had shown weakness to a re boy, and cursed, "What are you looking at? Believe it or not, I’ll gouge your eyes out too!"
"Master Ma." The owner quickly ran out from the kitchen, blocking Liu Runxi and Shen You’an, with a face full of humility and pleading.
"Master Ma, they’re just students, please don’t trouble them. If you have any issues, deal with ."
The man stepped forward and grabbed the owner’s collar, pulling him forward.
"You damn well can’t take a toast but insist on drinking a forfeit, huh? Do I have to co three tis to beg you?"
One of his n slamd a club onto the table with a "bang," making the little girl cry even harder.
"Master Ma, give a few more days, I’ll scrape up the money and personally bring it to you."
"How many tis have you said that? Do you think I still trust you?"
The owner gritted his teeth, and suddenly a burst of strength surged through him, glaring fiercely at the person in front of him, "Ma Liu, don’t push too far, I’ll fight to the death with you."
Ma Liu laughed, reached out, and patted the owner’s face, "Grown so spine, huh? Daring to challenge your grandpa."
He turned his head and ordered his n, "Smash it."
The owner’s wife rushed out from the kitchen holding a ladle, her eyes almost popping out at the scene.
"What are you trying to do? Let go of my husband."
She charged over with the iron ladle in hand.
Just as two henchn stepped forward to subdue the owner’s wife,
Shen You’an stood up and intercepted her, soothing gently, "Don’t worry."
The owner’s wife widened her eyes, "They’re bullying my husband, if I don’t worry, who will?"
Ma Liu finally noticed Shen You’an, his eyes gleaming.
This girl had an exceptional aura, her skin whiter than a newly plastered wall, her icy deanor was alluring.
The man’s eyes shalessly ogled at the girl’s face.
Ma Liu softened his tone, smiling as he asked, "Little sister, what’s your na?"
The young man behind the glasses had a mist of coldness in his eyes, the little girl beside him instinctively shrank her neck, suddenly feeling very cold.
The young man’s voice was very gentle, "Little sister, cover your ears, close your eyes, be good..."
The tender voice was so full of charm, the little girl instinctively complied.
Ma Liu showed his intention, "Little sister, if you spend a night with brother, brother will..."
Before Shen You’an could speak, out of the corner of his eye, the boy suddenly picked up the vinegar bottle from the table and smashed it down on Ma Liu’s head with precision.
