[Boss, Phoenix has surfaced. This is our chance to make a na for ourselves.]

The reply ca quickly: [The auction house robbery?]

[Boss, you’re quick to catch on. What do you say, let’s hit it big.]

Just then, soone knocked on the door, and Roger jerked his head up.

"Co in."

Dai Zhong pushed the door open. "Mr. Luo, regarding tonight’s incident, I think we need to have a eting to discuss it."

Roger said irritably, "What eting? It’s annoying. Don’t waste my ti."

Dai Zhong replied calmly, "The Feilian Group and Qingge Group have signed an agreent. During this period, Feilian Group is to provide both ard security and cyber protection services to Qingge Group. As Feilian Group’s network security director stationed in Qingge Group, shouldn’t you give our group an explanation about tonight’s major lapse? Otherwise, I’ll have to escalate to your superior."

Roger snorted dismissively. "Are you threatening ?"

Dai Zhong shook his head. "No one wanted to see this happen. Our priority right now is to locate the thief and recover the artifact. I hope you’ll cooperate with us."

Roger thought for a mont: identifying the person who stole the artifact was the only way to find clues about Phoenix.

So Roger stood up, grabbed a laptop and his phone, and followed Dai Zhong to the eting room.

Nearly all the company executives were present—except for the arrested President Han.

Roger twirled a pen in his hand and smirked. "Why bother with all this? Just call the cops."

Dai Zhong imdiately shot back. "We can’t call the cops."

Roger raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a mocking grin.

President Han’s already been arrested. If this company gets investigated, we’re finished. Calling the police would be like throwing ourselves into the fire.

Just then, the "Boss" sent over a code. Roger narrowed his eyes, opened his laptop, typed in the code—and on the screen, a red dot representing the location kept flashing.

Roger jumped up excitedly. "Brother Leopard, co with and grab that guy."

The security team leader cast a quick glance at Dai Zhong, then led his team to follow Roger.

Dai Zhong couldn’t control this loose cannon and could only hope he’d actually catch the infiltrating hacker—then maybe they’d follow the trail and nab that reckless brat who dared to ss with them.

Dai Zhong tapped the table. "Alright. Let’s figure out how to rescue President Han with the smallest cost."

Roger, leading a team, stord to the location.

At the gate, Roger looked up at the glowing sign overhead.

An internet café?

Roger glanced down at his phone. The location pinpointed here.

The infamous Phoenix is hanging around in an internet café?

It was late on a weekend night, the quietest yet rowdiest place in the city.

The group disguised themselves and followed Roger into the café.

Roger stared at the phone screen as the red dot grew closer and closer. His heartbeat quickened, and his palms were drenched in sweat from the nervousness.

Could Phoenix really be caught so easily? Or maybe this was all a trap?

But Roger’s unwavering trust in his boss caused him to montarily block out the chaotic thoughts, his sharp eyes scanning the bustling café.

"Hey handso, here alone to play?" A provocatively dressed woman with heavy makeup extended her flirtatious hand toward Roger.

Roger grimaced, sidestepped her and snapped, "Get lost, don’t dirty my clothes!"

The woman’s face froze, cursed "Crazy bastard," and sashayed away.

Roger sneezed and rubbed his itchy nose, muttering, "This place is unfit for humans."

The security captain, codena Seal, gave him a peculiar look after hearing that.

Suddenly, Roger’s eyes locked onto a figure in the corner. The person was turned sideways toward the café door, eyes glued to their computer screen, fingers flying across the keyboard.

That flashy movent, damn...

The closer he got, the faster the flashing red dot on his phone.

Roger suddenly lunged forward, grabbed the person’s shoulder. "Let see the true face of Lushan Mountain."

Behind him, Seal’s hand had instinctively reached for the weapon at his waist, ready to act at any mont.

On the computer screen, a fierce shooting ga was underway. The boy, annoyed by the interruption, shook his shoulder impatiently, shrugging off Roger’s hand.

But that montary distraction got him shot in the head by the opposing team.

"Damn!" The boy lost the ga, his expression darkened, and he looked up at the troublemaker.

Roger froze, stunned. "You’re not Phoenix?"

"Phoenix your head! You wanna fight? I’ll gladly oblige."

The boy abruptly stood up, towering over Roger by more than a head. The height difference made Roger feel like he was under a shadow’s shroud.

Then five or six young n around the boy began rising one by one. "Ayao, who is this guy? Doesn’t even have eyes and dares to ss with you. Let’s teach him a lesson."
