At exactly eight o’clock, all the campers began roll call and boarded the buses.
The bus pulled away from the hotel and headed toward Yigao.
Gao Yuyue kept turning her head to study Shen You’an, who was sitting beside her.
The morning sunlight pierced through the bus window, transforming into dappled patches of light and shadow with the bus’s movent.
Sitting amidst it all, the girl’s appearance, though her face was thoroughly concealed by a brimd hat, mask, and glasses, still shone like a celestial pearl washed clean of dust—radiant and otherworldly, a beauty without equal.

At that mont, from one of the buses across the lot, a girl in a purple dress stepped down. The purple hem of her dress was embroidered with golden patterns, which glittered brilliantly under the morning light, reflecting rippling waves of radiance as she walked—utterly enchanting.
Gao Yuyue clicked her tongue. Instinctively, she raised her head for a closer look. The girl’s skin was snow-white, her features delicate and refined, and her black eyes sparkled warmly with a smile. She gave off an impression of being imnsely gentle and good-natured.
Yet, for so reason, Gao Yuyue felt an inexplicable sense of dislike.
The gentler that girl smiled, the eerier it felt.
With a light hold on her skirt, the girl descended the bus steps gracefully. Behind her, a hand erged, opening a parasol above her head, perfectly shielding her from the sunlight.
The girl maintained her poised and elegant deanor as she walked. However, trailing behind her was a flustered boy holding the parasol, and another girl carrying two backpacks.
This second girl had an adorable round face, but her expression showed a mix of exhaustion and resignation. She had one backpack on her back and held another in her arms. Following closely behind the boy, she squinted as the sunlight hit her eyes, raised a hand to shield her vision, and glanced ahead at the boy who was attentively holding the parasol for the girl in the purple dress. Her expression appeared more than a little resentful.
Gao Yuyue found it amusing—this girl really thought she was a princess, didn’t she?
Shen You’an glanced over indifferently, just in ti to catch the girl in the purple dress looking up at her.

Jing Zhan noticed Yu Ruohuan suddenly pausing mid-step. Confused, he glanced at her and saw her staring blankly at a distant figure. He followed her line of sight.
"Sister Yu, what are you looking at?"
The girl up ahead, dressed in black, revealed only a silhouette, yet it captivated everyone nearby. One couldn’t help but wonder just how stunning she must look in person. Unfortunately, Jing Zhan hadn’t noticed her when she got off the bus earlier.
Jing Zhan eyed Yu Ruohuan, then imdiately understood what was going through her mind. An icy smirk flickered across his thoughts.
"Huanhuan, what’s wrong?" Jing Huan, unlike the perceptive Jing Zhan, hadn’t caught on. His full attention was fixed on Yu Ruohuan, and he hadn’t noticed the group of people stepping off the bus opposite them.
Yu Ruohuan’s lips curved faintly. "It’s nothing. Let’s go."
"Ruohuan." A cheerful voice rang out from the front left.
In the blink of an eye, a figure dressed in bright yellow swept over like a gust of wind.
Yu Ruohuan smiled. "Awan."
"My brother ntioned you’d be at this winter camp too. I was just about to find a chance to et up with you, but who’d have thought we’d bump into each other right away?"
The newcor wore a daffodil-yellow blouse paired with light blue jeans. Her dark hair was tied into a neat and energetic ponytail, giving her a fresh and carefree air.
Jing Zhan put on a polite smile. "Miss Wen."
"Little Jing Zhan, long ti no see. How many tis have I told you? I’m a year older than you. Just call Sister Awan; no need for all the formalities between us."
