The Spring River Law Firm is located in the central business district, where every inch of land is worth its weight in gold.
Bathed in sunlight, the skyscraper stands tall like a majestic ch warrior.
The taxi pulled up in front of the towering building. After scanning to pay, Shen You’an stepped out of the car with ng Junzhu.
ng Junzhu clicked his tongue, "An’an, you... you really hired a lawyer?"
Shen You’an adjusted his glasses, "Mr. ng, let’s go inside."
ng Junzhu had assud Shen You’an was rely trying to intimidate Xu Na. Chunzhou was unfamiliar territory for her; hiring a lawyer here wasn’t supposed to be so effortless.
With steady steps, Shen You’an walked into the building. Following the directory signs, they quickly found the Spring River Law Firm on the 22nd floor.
From the 22nd floor upward for ten additional stories, all the floors belonged exclusively to the Spring River Law Firm.
In the first-floor lobby, white-collar professionals bustled about, their hurried footsteps leaving no room for anyone to pay attention to the two.
A row of security turnstiles blocked their path.
After just a few seconds, a young man approached from the direction of the elevator, hesitating before he asked, "Are you Ms. Shen?"
"Yes, I am."
Gan Wei quickly used his employee badge to unlock the turnstile, "Please, both of you, co right in."
Shen You’an and ng Junzhu walked through.
Gan Wei jogged ahead to open one of the nearest elevators.
The lobby housed twelve elevators, two of which were direct-access to the law firm on the 22nd floor.
Inside the elevator, Gan Wei stared at the polished, mirror-like door.
A slender silhouette was reflected on its surface, like a lotus blooming gracefully in the sumr breeze at the edge of a serene pond. Just the faint outline of the figure evoked a sense of refined, otherworldly beauty.
Gan Wei’s Adam’s apple moved ever so slightly.
In the blink of an eye, they arrived at the 22nd floor.
At the reception desk was a sweet-looking young woman. Noticing Gan Wei escorting the two guests inside, she imdiately broke into a professionally sweet smile.
"Welco to Spring River Law Firm."
Once the guests stepped inside, the receptionist leaned over covertly to gossip with her colleagues, "Is she a celebrity? Her figure and poise are impeccable, and her outfit is amazing. I never imagined such a simple shirt and pants could look so stunning on soone. I’d kill for the link..."
Her coworker glanced at the appointnt roster, "No celebrity appointnts today."
The Spring River Law Firm holds considerable renown. Its fa has been on the rise ever since Lawyer Helian Yi appeared on a TV program. Many celebrities and influencers dream of hiring him for their litigation, but given his exorbitant fees, even top-tier stars would hesitate to ask.
"It’s curious, though; what’s the deal with this Other Shore Entertainnt? I hadn’t even heard of them before, and yet sohow they managed to hire Lawyer Helian Yi as their legal consultant."
"Don’t know. Maybe the owner is a personal friend of Lawyer Helian Yi."
The entertainnt industry is a deep and treacherous ocean.
One thing’s clear: Other Shore Entertainnt must be far from the simple facade it presents.
And any client personally escorted by Gan Wei must carry a significant identity.
"But what about her?" The round-faced girl glanced toward the lounge area.
Her coworker scoffed lightly, "That one’s just delusional. She thinks she can easily et Lawyer Helian Yi without an appointnt. She barged in here with an arrogant attitude, demanding to see him. Honestly, I think there’s sothing wrong with her..."
She tapped a finger to her temple.
The two exchanged a knowing smile.
Lounge area.
Sun Qianqian, fed up, stood abruptly as if to storm out, "It’s been half an hour now! What does Lawyer Helian Yi an by this? Is he seriously just going to leave hanging here?"
Her assistant quickly stepped in to stop her, "Qianqian, don’t rush. Lawyer Helian Yi’s assistant said he’s very busy. He’s handling several cases right now. We’ll just have to wait a bit longer."
Having seen the caliber of elite lawyers here as soon as they entered, the assistant didn’t dare act brash anymore.
After all, this place is Chunzhou’s top law firm—creating a scene here is equivalent to courting disaster.
Sun Qianqian’s chest heaved with frustration, "How much longer am I supposed to wait?"
"Qianqian." The assistant raised his arm and gently patted her back, trying to calm her down.
"Brother Qiang already told us, Lawyer Helian Yi is from Jingzhou’s premier law firm. I did so research too—Lawyer Helian Yi is even more impressive than we imagined. He’s never lost a case. If we’re asking for his help, we need to show the right attitude. If he takes offense, you’ll have a hard ti winning this lawsuit."
After returning ho yesterday, Sun Qianqian had grown increasingly resentful. She had never been slapped in her entire life, and the indignation still hadn’t subsided. Then her agent, Brother Qiang, received a call from Chen Shan announcing that the production crew had decided to terminate their contract with Sun Qianqian, parting on amicable terms.
Sun Qianqian was absolutely livid and imdiately insisted on hiring a lawyer to sue.
Brother Qiang, juggling other artists and negotiating an advertising deal, took so ti to analyze the situation for her. If she was going to litigate, she’d have to hire the best lawyer for a decisive strike.
After probing the entertainnt circle, Brother Qiang found that the person currently making waves in the legal profession was Spring River’s Helian Yi. He wasn’t completely unreachable, either. Rumor had it that he had recently taken on the role of legal counsel for a small agent company. As long as the money was good, there was no reason Lawyer Helian Yi wouldn’t agree.
