Yu Jiarui wiped away her tears, looking pitiful yet persistent as she explained, absolving herself completely while painting Ru Caiying as a jealous aggressor.
Qi Baotan angrily clenched her small fists, outraged by the woman’s speed in switching faces. Monts ago, she’d been yelling like a shrew; now, she was playing the fragile ingénue. Disgusting.
Ru Caiying was almost in awe of Yu Jiarui’s ability to transform. Her acting skills were so good that even she, an award-winning actress, felt inferior.

Huo Lin listened with a cold expression, his stern face betraying no emotion.

"Mr. Huo, President Zhao, this woman is in cahoots with Ru Caiying—you absolutely mustn’t trust her."
Yu Jiarui, unable to keep up her act, finally revealed her true colors.
