At this point, Xie Feng noticeably paused.
Driven by his relentless curiosity for the truth, Cheng Xuyuan pressed, "Who is this physicist? What is this model?"
Xie Feng said gently, "If you’re interested in this theory, you can visit the school library to look up the materials. Rember to bring your student ID cards—you all have higher access privileges than regular De Ren students."
The De Ren library could be described as a treasure trove of the world’s most valuable docunts and publications. This was resource monopoly. De Ren students started the race far ahead. However, so of the more advanced academic resources and materials required a certain level of status and clearance to access.
Cheng Xuyuan wondered why Mr. Xie had avoided answering him directly. Could it be that the question wasn’t worth answering?
"The vastness of the universe, the minuteness of particles, the speed of rockets, the ingenuity of chemical engineering, the changes of Earth, the mysteries of life, the complexity of daily life—all rely on mathematics. These words co from the mathematician Hua Luogeng. I hope that on this path, you all remain neither arrogant nor impatient and create new possibilities for the future."
Xie Feng glanced at the ti. Before he knew it, it was already noon. "Class dismissed."
After Xie Feng left the classroom, Cheng Xuyuan turned to Gu Bichen, who sat beside him. "Gu, do you know which physicist Mr. Xie ntioned as the one who proposed the wormhole model?"
Gu Bichen had grown up imrsed in an academic environnt, well-read in everything from astronomy to geography. There was nothing he didn’t know.
Gu Bichen’s eyes flickered slightly. After so thought, he said calmly, "Yu Yisen, Professor Yu. He was a student of Professor Migo. Professor Migo’s research team abroad has always focused on spaceti physics."
Shen You’an’s brows lowered slightly as he heard the na, concealing the emotion in his eyes.
Cheng Xuyuan murmured to himself, "Yu Yisen, Professor Yu... What accomplishnts does he have in research? How co I’ve never heard of his na before?"
Gu Bichen glanced at him, sighed lightly, and shook his head. "So things are better left unknown."
Cheng Xuyuan scratched his head. "What’s with all the mystery? If you won’t say, I’ll just go to the library myself. A ti machine—if soone really succeeded in creating that, wouldn’t it be earth-shattering? I could go anywhere I wanted! It’d be way cooler than Doraemon’s gadget pouch."
Liu Runxi lightly knocked on the edge of Shen You’an’s desk, but Shen You’an was lost in thought and didn’t respond.
Liu Runxi narrowed his eyes slightly, stealing an inconspicuous glance at Gu Bichen. He wasn’t in any hurry; he could wait patiently.
Shen You’an returned to his senses and looked up at the youth in front of him, who stood tall and elegant like a jade tree in the wind.
Liu Runxi’s gaze was serene and distant as he said with graceful indifference, "Let’s go eat."
Shen You’an placed his pen back into his pen pouch. "Alright."
The rest of the class simply watched the two of them leave one after the other. Their actions were so casual and natural that no one felt there was anything to comnt on. In the back of their minds, though, they added one thought: What a good match.
What else could they say? They weren’t gossiping teenage girls, after all. A young man and woman walking side by side didn’t necessarily an anything romantic. Besides, Mr. Xie had just reminded them that limited vision leads to narrow thinking—ignorance, in other words. One redeeming trait of academic achievers was their ability to draw inferences and correct their mistakes.
Gu Bichen casually caught up to them. "Runxi, An’an, wait for ."
Yuan Tingfang bit her lip and unknowingly drew an X on her draft paper, pressing so hard it nearly tore through. It was as if she wanted to erase soone entirely.
Leng Yunyang noticed this scene, raised his eyebrow slightly, draped his jacket over his shoulder, and walked out humming a tune.
"Hey, beautiful, would I be lucky enough to have lunch with you?"
At the doorway, he encountered Jiang Yumo, who was walking in from another direction. Leng Yunyang’s flirtatious side surfaced instantly.
Jiang Yumo avoided him like the plague, quickening her pace to leave him behind.
"Young Master Leng."
Yuan Tingfang walked up with a sweet smile. "I’m quite familiar with De Ren Middle School. Let show you the way."
Leng Yunyang pouted disdainfully. "Forget it. I’ve suddenly lost my appetite."
With that, he swaggered off. His final glance seed almost full of distaste.
Yuan Tingfang’s face turned livid with anger.
If it weren’t for the fact that he was the heir of the Leng family, she wouldn’t have bothered interacting with a peacock like him.
