Sula didn’t know if she truly cared for Rong Xianning, but she had an excellent eye.
Her eyes were praised as Eyes of Golden Fla. Any artist she discovered could rise to stardom; this required not only luck but also an acute sense of intuition and exceptional aesthetic judgnt.
The international market was already saturated and lacked challenges, so lately, she planned to break into the Hua Country market, a territory waiting to be developed.
From the first mont Rong Xianning appeared in her view, her intuition told her that this young man was the one she was looking for.
Afterward, she engaged in conversation with Shen You’an but continued to secretly observe him.
Neither arrogant nor humble, this young man possessed a maturity and composure that surpassed his age.
Such a temperant was more suitable for the entertainnt industry, and under her tutelage, Hua Country would witness the birth of a superstar.
Unfortunately, his boss was a shrewd businessman who wouldn’t let him go easily.
Sula completely ignored Ding ng’s aggrieved complaints, as if she hadn’t seen her tears at all, saying, "What a pity, I was considering offering him a chance to audition."
Ding ng suddenly froze, her eyes widening: "A chance to audition for Star Youth?"
Oh heavens, she had exhausted all efforts to secure this opportunity from Wu Hao, yet here, it seed like a matter of a simple word from Sula.
But what now? She seed to have offended Sula.
Ding ng turned to look at Rong Xianning, who stood silently there, listening indifferently to their discussions about his future and fate.
This reminded her of the previous year when she went to the Rong family to discuss Rong Xianning’s signing, and he silently sat in a corner, saying nothing.
As if no matter what fate offered him, he was indifferent—not because he didn’t care, but because he was numb.
Ding ng’s heart suddenly ached; rationality told her she was a businesswoman, focused on profit, and Rong Xianning was her moneymaker, not to let him slip away easily.
But over more than a year, watching this young man grow slowly, his intelligence, his stubbornness, his sensitivity were all seen by her.
He deserved better developnt; she shouldn’t confine him at her side.
Inner conflicts raged as her thoughts constantly changed.
Only a few dozen seconds passed.
In fact, Ding ng knew that the mont she hesitated, she already had the answer deep in her heart.
Ding ng silently turned back, gritted her teeth, and when she looked up again, her gaze was firm.
"You are Xiao Rong’s benefactor; I believe you can certainly offer him better developnt. I’m willing to dissolve the contract with him; let’s set another ti to discuss the specifics."
Either succeed or perish, selling Sula a favor was at least a connection with no harm in sight.
With this thought, the heavy stone pressing on her heart seed to suddenly lighten.
Rong Xianning looked deeply at Ding ng; being young, he couldn’t hide his emotions, appearing shocked that Ding ng truly would let him go.
Sula was also a bit surprised, but upon more thought, it was quite logical; this woman was rather clever and insightful.
"Sula Sis, President Ding was the one who discovered Xiao Rong, so maybe it’s best not to take soone else’s discovery."
The cool voice of the young girl flowed like a clear spring, bringing a refreshing calm to the heart.
Ding ng sharply looked at the black-clad girl sitting quietly.
She called her Sula Sis, hinting at a close relationship.
The black-clad girl quietly sat under the hazy light, cloaked in mystery, hard to decipher.
The girl looked at her with eyes clear like whirlpools, easy to get lost in.
Ding ng shivered, dared not to look further, hurriedly bowed her head.
The aura around this girl was restrained but no less than Sula’s, with a faint stance of superiority between them.
Sure enough, after hearing her, Sula laughed heartily: "Since An’an said so, I’ll refrain..."
Sula wasn’t sure how the saying went; Shen You’an smiled and said, "Refrain from taking soone else’s discovery."
"Right, I’ll refrain from taking soone else’s discovery. This weekend’s audition, bring Rong Xianning over, leave a phone number, and I’ll have my assistant contact you later."
Ding ng could hardly believe it; she first glanced at Shen You’an, who quietly drank tea with lowered eyes, not looking at her.
Ding ng then looked at Sula, nodded repeatedly, hurriedly pulling out a sticky note and pen from her purse, and wrote down her phone number, placing it on the table before Sula’s eyes.
Sula glanced at it and tucked it into her bag.
Ding ng’s mouth curled with a wide grin.
"Anything else?" Sula glanced at Ding ng.
Ding ng hurriedly waved her hand, pulled Rong Xianning over, "Sorry for interrupting your al; I shall leave now. Enjoy your al."
With that, she pushed Rong Xianning onto a seat and exited the private room.
Ding ng felt dizzy as she walked out, as if dreaming.
Ye Zi quickly followed, assuming she had been drinking.
"Ye Zi, do you know the history behind Xiao Rong’s childhood sweetheart?"
Ye Zi paused, "Isn’t she just an ordinary high school student?"
Oh, not ordinary indeed, she’s supposed to be a genius in academia, likely pursuing research in the future.
"You’re wrong." Ding ng looked quite excited, "She’s far from ordinary; we’ve underestimated her."
Her words held sway over Sula’s thoughts, and though she called Sula Sis, instinct told her Sula was likely to heed her every command.
But she was rely a good student in high school, how did she co to know Sula? And what power did she hold over Sula?
She was simply a mysterious woman.
Ding ng couldn’t understand, so she stopped overthinking, as everything was moving in a positive direction.
Descending to the second floor, Ding ng recalled the humiliation from Wu Hao earlier; she needed to vent her anger.
Inside the private room, Wu Hao and He Qian were having a jovial conversation, almost as close as brothers, with Chen Shucheng obediently sitting by.
Ding ng’s arrival disrupted the harmonious atmosphere in the room.
Wu Hao’s expression darkened instantly upon seeing Ding ng.
"I already gave you a chance earlier; it’s your own..."
Ding ng strutted forward, grabbed a glass of red wine from the table, and splashed it on Wu Hao’s face.
"Yuck, you old sleazeball, you disgust , touch again, and I’ll chop off your fingers."
Wu Hao was furious, his finger trembling as it pointed at Ding ng: "You bitch, do you know what you’re doing?"
Ding ng sneered, glancing at He Qian, who was watching the drama: "Isn’t it just an audition opportunity? I don’t care; I have my connections, let’s see who wins."
With that, she turned triumphantly to leave.
Wu Hao was trembling with anger, shouting at Ding ng’s retreating back: "In your dreams."
He Qian thought Ding ng’s temper was still fiery; this ti she deeply offended Wu Hao, and the audition opportunity was lost, making Shu Cheng’s chance seem even greater.
With this in mind, He Qian’s eyebrows brimd with joy.
