The Black Demon Dragon’s size is so enormous, wherever it treads, the land imdiately turns to scorched earth.

Soldiers crushed or knocked away by it, regardless of side, all turn to charcoal.

...

It was so close to !

This terrifying monster, only seen in myth and legend, exerted such an oppressive force that the steed beneath Derum collapsed onto the ground, urinating and defecating.

Derum’s eyes were filled with fear.

In the instant the dragon collided, over half of his fellow tribesn, who had joined the army with him, along with their steeds were burned to charcoal. Only those farther away like them temporarily escaped disaster.

The intense fear transford into anger at this mont. Derum roared as he raised the iron spear in his hand, using all his strength to hurl it out, like Don Quixote charging the windmill without hesitation.

The iron spear touched the Fire Dragon’s body and instantly ignited into a torch.

The spearhead turned into molten iron, dripping between the scales of the Fire Dragon’s body, flowing down all the way to the ground.

The Dragon did not even spare him a glance.

Hoofbeats rang out from behind.

Derum turned around to see the Ulm Knight riding swiftly towards him, who pulled him onto his steed by the collar: "Retreat, follow my command, and stay away from this monster."

...

Above, the Stone Gargoyles swooped in, flapping their wide stone wings, charging straight at the Demon Dragon.

The Demon Dragon impatiently raised its head, snake-like thick neck twisting backward, chomping the stone animated by Blood Magic into shards.

But how could such creatures imbued with Blood Magic Power die so easily?

A muffled bang sounded as the corrosive energy-filled Blood Magic Power exploded from its mouth.

The Fire Dragon let out an angry roar.

Humiliated repeatedly, the Demon Dragon was already in a Frenzy state, ignoring the hassle of the remaining few Stone Gargoyles, targeting Losa, spewing flas from its mouth with a mighty blow.

Boom!

A black shield stood between Losa and the Demon Dragon.

The ghost face relief on it let out a painful wail, the level of Dragon Fla was far more terrifying than the Tyrannical Dragon blessed by Volcanic Divinity.

"Sound the horn, all troops retreat!"

Losa shouted at the top of his lungs.

He possessed Volcanic Divinity, able to survive in the Dragon Fla, but his cavalry could not.

The blazing Dragon Fla raised the temperature to such an extre level that even the Saracen Cavalry, accustod to desert climates, lost all desire to fight.

The cavalry enveloped in iron armor felt as if thrown into a stear, sweating profusely, even breathing beca exceedingly difficult.

The two armies no longer cared to engage, rapidly retreated.

The Crusaders’ cavalry ran all the way back to a small hill nearly a kiloter away, then bravely looked at the scene behind.

They saw Losa riding a two-ter tall giant horse, holding a shining Cross Sword, standing fearlessly against the dragon’s flas.

"Heavenly Father above, can Marquis truly defeat such a terrifying creature?"

...

Jeanne vibrated her Light Wings, intercepting the Demon Dragon, the sacred golden radiance made Shemir behind her squint instinctively.

At this mont, Jeanne had fully transford into the state of Holy Body.

Behind her, one could vaguely see the Light Wings spread out like a halo, indistinguishable how many pairs of wings, the view nearly filled with the blazing light.

Her flesh and blood had been completely replaced by Sacred Radiance.

In such a state, Jeanne was fully capable of confronting the strong Caster Anna, who had a foot in the Legendary Domain, in a direct magical duel.

But the state of Holy Body was equally extrely dangerous; once Jeanne’s Holy Power was exhausted, the Holy Fla of the Holy Body would treat Jeanne herself as fuel, burning out a terrifying battle power that perishes together with the enemy.

She raised her hand, the tip of the Holy Spear extended over ten ters of Golden Radiance: "Prajna, protect the master, leave this creature to ."

Prajna, her fair fingers tightly grasping the shield already burnt red, furrowed her brow and cursed and a Female Knight elegant as an angel couldn’t help but laugh.

"Fine, I know it’s pointless to say this, but under these circumstances, saying nothing goes against my sense of beauty."

As Jeanne finished, her smile quickly receded.

She glanced at the scorched corpses on the ground, many familiar faces among them, now re kindling for the flas, or dehydrated mummies with twisted limbs strewn on their escape routes.

"Face judgnt, Evil Dragon!"

The spear point ascended, aiming directly at the Fire Dragon’s head.

The Fire Dragon sensed the threat, its eyes filled with frenzy, not hesitating for a mont, raising its head to aim the Dragon Fla at Jeanne.

...

Roger of the Hospital Knight Order made a cross on his chest, his eyes filled with reverence and awe: "The scene before reminds of Gabriel battling the great Dragon Satan, perhaps... Knight Commander Jeanne is Gabriel."

The Apocalypse records that during the final judgnt, angels battled the great seven-headed Dragon, crowned seven tis, ntioned as the old serpent Satan in the Bible, who tempted Adam and Eve to fall.

"Is Knight Commander Jeanne an angel?"

"Certainly, God sent down angels, commanding them to aid Holy Son, defeating the heretical army raising Demon Dragons..."

Roger grew more excited: "An Earthly Heaven spanning Crescent Fertile Land and Egypt is about to be born—Gerard, this is God’s will, we are so fortunate to witness such a magnificent Miracle."

Gerard appeared bewildered: "Jeanne is an angel?"

In this era, Christianity and Judaism had significantly different perceptions of angelic images than later generations.

In the Old Testant, angels were described thus: having the likeness of humans, each with four faces and four wings.

Their legs were straight, feet like calves’ hoofs, bright as polished bronze.

Under the wings on the four sides were human hands. These living creatures had such faces and wings: wings touched one another, moved straight forward without turning.

As for faces: each had a human face at the front, lion faces to the right, ox faces to the left, and eagle faces at the back. Each extended two wings upward connected, two wings below covered the body.

Visibly, such descriptions hardly aligned with "beauty."

Conversely, demons, though innately ugly, enjoyed transform into alluring won, seducing, and in many legends, beca extrely captivating, most capable of enticing primal desires.

Nonetheless, there is Gabriel in the Bible, an angel often appearing in human form.

Thus, scholars at the Divinity School commonly believed angels possessed the ability to transform into anything, their form unfixed, could be male or female, bizarre monsters or impeccably handso individuals.

So, it is evident that Jeanne is a human-ford angel like Gabriel.

"Turns out, Knight Jeanne by Marquis’ side is actually an angel’s incarnation..."

"The feeling of Sacred Radiance upon is wondrous, akin to drinking sweet water under the shade of Divine Wood."

"We don’t yet know the angel’s na, but if I were to guess, they must be the herald of God in legends, Divine Envoy Gabriel."
