In the blink of an eye, the killing situation was apparent.

Losa was soone who dreaded trouble; there’s no sense in being on guard against a thief for a thousand days.

He was well aware of the enormous trouble a powerful Caster with a vendetta against him would cause.

So, since this Vampire Duke had laid down a harsh warning, intending to trouble them in the future, it was best to seal his fate with finality, nailing him beneath the coffin board!

"Indeed, quite formidable."

The man reached out and grasped the Holy Spear that had pierced through his body. White smoke billowed, and the holy light burned his palm, yet he remained firmly clutching the spear’s shaft, pulling it out inch by inch.

The mont the Holy Spear was withdrawn, it transford into golden brilliance, returning to Jeanne’s hand.

"This is no Holy Spear."

The Vampire cast a aningful glance at Jeanne. He spread his arms, and a blood red light, laden with a thick scent of blood, descended like a curtain from the sky, wrapping the entire Tower in its entirety.

"So much wonderful flesh and blood, since the host insists, I won’t be leaving."

His gaze swept greedily over everyone present, each seed extraordinary, delicacies he had never tasted before. Though each wasn’t easily reachable, the sight alone made him salivate.

His body began to expand, tamorphose, his flesh proliferated, emitting nauseating, bizarre sounds.

The two Longswords belonging to Chelina, nailed in his body, were inch by inch squeezed out by blood and flesh. Enveloped in a blood fla, as Chelina reached to summon them back, they only trembled slightly in response.

Losa’s nostrils were filled with the stench of blood. Not just his nose, even the surface of his skin felt a tingling itch, like his entire being was subrged in a pool of blood.

The whole world seed cloaked by this crimson curtain, obscuring the moon, and the Tower and Castle they were familiar with. Unknowingly, the Vampire had dragged them into another world.

Now, the Vampire bore no semblance of human form. He was like a mass of flesh and blood, piling up like sludge, slowly oozing, rging into the sanguine canopy.

The blood curtain overhead, gaining a visceral appearance—as if inside a giant human body, soft murmurs of organs shifting could faintly be heard.

Jeanne clutched the Holy Spear tightly, her face grave. Such a formidable dark creature, even among the demons she hunted, ranked among the top—and now, she was far from her pri.

"Prajna, protect the master. Your Demon Hunters are almost useless against such a powerful foe."

She turned her body to speak.

Prajna, still impassive, subtly moved to stand in front of Losa. Three Demon Hunters silently burst into smoke, vanishing, while a chilling ominous aura returned to Prajna.

With black hair cascading, wielding the Ghost Face Shield, firmly blocking in front of Losa.

"Interesting, very interesting."

A voice, seeming to speak from all around, ca forth: "The aura changes entirely in an instant, as if a different person, Marquis, you and your subordinates truly give too many surprises."

"Trickster."

The manlike giant Wolf revealed a look of impatience: "If you have the guts, co out and fight fairly!"

He was Venezia, a man with arrogance and battling spirit ingrained in his bones, detesting enemies hiding unseen.

"Ha, little wolf cub, no need to rush, none of you can escape."

Chelina squinted her eyes, suppressing the golden vertically slit eyes of the Wolf Race in the darkness.

She recalled in Saluzzo, Fiore, a teacher who often carried cheap candy in her pocket, once taught: if a Vampire draws you into a Blood Barrier, do not panic, stay composed and calm. Do not rush to attack, failing to find the Vampire’s true body renders any attack as rely depleting their backup blood...

"Find his true body..."

She looked up, the sky above like an overturned, boundless lake of blood.

Not knowing the difference between the Vampires of two worlds, yet this seems akin to the Blood Barrier Fiore described.

Both isolating from the world.

Both hiding the enemy’s true body.

Plop—

A drop of blood brushed past Losa’s cheek, landing on his shoulder armor, vaporizing instantly.

Looking up, the sky was dotted with tiny drops of blood hanging from its do, slowly pooling then dripping—perating the entire world, impossible to avoid.

"In my world, beco one with ."

The man’s laughter was piercing, filled with greed and pride.

Losa coldly said, "Everyone be cautious, don’t let the raindrops touch you. Let’s first figure out exactly where we are!"

...

Feilaimai Castle.

Furinjira was crouched, examining the piled corpses, mostly incomplete. They had defended the outskirts, poorly equipped nomads of all ages and genders.

Yet they had displayed unmatched courage, fighting to their last breath in the siege, even severed limbs didn’t deter them from trying to tear apart enemies with their teeth.

"There are bite marks on the necks."

"Their blood was drained."

"Are these people undead?"

"No, they lack a special aura."

Furinjira took out a delicate dagger, slicing open the bite marks on a corpse’s neck, revealing the tissue within, which should have been red but had turned pitch black.

"Is it poison?"

"Poison driving these bodies to continue fighting, hence the lack of a special aura?"

As she was analyzing, Furinjira abruptly turned her head toward the top of Feilaimai Castle’s Tower, where golden holy light stretched to the sky but shortly vanished, as if it was never there.

"Miss, sothing happened."

Kurs erged from Furinjira’s shadow, slightly anxious.

"With such a commotion by the Holy Spear, I’m not blind."

Furinjira replied irritably, "Quickly, what’s the matter?"

Kurs briefly stated, "The master was attacked, the enemy possibly a very powerful native Vampire. My Blood Shadow Secret Technique is utterly ineffective against him."

"Blood Magic Power is useless because it’s of the sa origin?"

"Not necessarily."

Kurs looked towards the Tower top, where the abnormality was gradually fading.

"Miss, ever since we entered this Castle, sothing felt off."
