The dark red filthy blood covered the entire ground.
Blood-colored monsters brewed from the blood.
Losa and Prajna stood back-to-back, continuously killing one monster after another that flew towards them, yet the monsters ca endlessly, as if they would never be completely eliminated.
Blood splashed as a monster resembling a blood-colored mad dog lunged at Losa.
He frowned.
This monster, he distinctly rembers slaying it himself once before; every detail matched. Although there were many monsters, until now, he hadn’t seen any repeat.
"Are they resurrecting?"
But this ti, the cross sword in Losa’s hand, which was covered in Holy Fla effective against dark creatures, wasn’t able to easily cut it in two like last ti.
The severed sections of the monster, the body of the blood-colored creature, turned charred but still had the strength to bite towards Losa.
Prajna instinctively lifted his Shield to counter, grabbing another monster’s forelimb with one hand and smashing it hard against the ground.
"Each ti they’re killed, they beco harder to kill—they’re adapting to our attacks."
Losa loudly reminded.
But as soon as Losa finished speaking, he suddenly realized that there was no response at all.
The people around him had unknowingly disappeared.
"Welco to my personal arena."
A man’s pale face slowly erged.
He wanted to see fear or tension on Losa’s face, but the enemy, exuding a fragrance irresistible to the Vampire, stood calmly, expressionless, looking at him.
"Do you regret not accepting my suggestion earlier?"
Losa smirked and retorted, "You think you have victory in your grasp?"
The Vampire didn’t hurry to strike, enjoying the delay.
Being pulled into the opponent’s controlled world, isolated, was sothing he had long anticipated, so he wasn’t flustered. Moreover, he was no longer a weakling incapable of resisting without his followers.
Losa watched the Vampire’s expression without making a sound.
Soone who has lived for God knows how long shouldn’t be so transparent, showing emotions, yet this monster’s reason had been devoured by beastliness, highlighting defects in his character.
"In fact, I tend to think you’re the one who’s always regretting."
The Vampire’s face showed a hint of a vicious smile. Initially, he had so regrets, but now, whether it was the Ghost Face Shield containing infinite Death Power or the blood rich in special Power within these bodies, they were invaluable treasures to him.
They could even be called his divine ascent ladder.
"Haha, you guys, have brought a great gift indeed."
The Vampire sneered, "I will defeat you one by one, and finally, in front of you, I’ll enjoy your won. I promise, by then, I’ll crush every piece of their flesh—provided you can live till that mont."
As soon as he finished speaking, a black light condensed in mid-air.
A Knight holding a black Lance in one hand and a black Greatsword in the other, wearing a Helt resembling demon horns, suddenly appeared.
From the gaps of the dark helt, only a pair of eyes glowing red could be seen.
Blood-colored flas arose from its body.
It wasn’t fire, rely a state of Blood Magic Power boiling.
The mont the black Knight appeared, the entire world seed to stagnate, his chest felt like a mountain was pressed on it, making breathing markedly difficult.
Cold sweat seeped from Losa’s back, this enemy’s power was astonishingly strong.
"Taros, kill him."
The Vampire ordered with a cold smile, then disappeared into the blood-colored space—his most respected enemies were never Losa. Whether it was the woman wielding the Holy Spear, the woman with two swords, or the woman holding the Ghost Face Shield, all were far more deserving of serious attention than Losa.
The Holy Fla on Losa’s cross sword rose again.
He slightly frowned, puzzling over how he had just consud a lot of Holy Power, yet after such a short while, it seed to be refilling.
But now was not the ti to dwell on these matters.
As the Blood Knight stepped forward, its body beca increasingly majestic, resembling a Titan giant erging from ancient tis.
It raised the Giant Sword and Lance in its hands, while a sacred feeling enveloped its indistinct face, as if it wasn’t an entity ford from foul blood, but a judge holding a Code behind a table.
"Thou art guilty."
The heavy pressure descended, Losa suddenly realized, his body was seemingly immobilized, only his mind was able to operate freely.
In the blood-colored world, souls of the wronged attacked from all sides, their faces clear; many were familiar or known to Losa.
These, had died by my hand or because of ?
Realizing this, Losa suddenly noticed the giant sword floating above his head, akin to a clock’s dial, descending one notch with a click.
Cold sweat ran down Losa’s body again as the scene in front of him reappeared, unexpectedly featuring gallows where, with a command from Hans or Kurs, "rebels" were executed collectively.
"Thou art guilty!"
The Blood Knight’s voice elevated a notch, and then, the Giant Sword pointed diagonally down, descending another notch, like the Sword of Damocles hanging overhead, ready to split open his skull.
Losa felt dead inside.
He saw infants crying, saw devastation after war.
In Eira Port, countless people burned by his Dragon Fla circled around his ears, letting out harrowing screams.
"Sinner, those who died because of you, those killed by your own hands, are tens of thousands."
"In the future, this number will only increase."
The voice of the Blood Knight was full of compassion: "To bear such sins, have you ever questioned your own heart?"
Losa’s voice was almost squeezed from his throat: "I am innocent!"
His eyes showed no madness, only a sense of calm and tranquility. He repeated once more, "I am innocent!"
"You cannot foresee the future, the catastrophes this land will endure."
"You cannot foresee after the end of the Ayyubid Dynasty’s rule on these lands, how no Mamluk Lords will focus on building their territories, but instead will fight one another, extracting every drop of oil from this land, nor can you foresee that under Turkic rule, Egypt’s population in a few hundred years will be only half of what it is now."
"Plague, natural disasters, war, if not for , they would still prevail eternally."
"I walk the correct path, even if walking this path requires committing so evil deeds, I am still with a guiltless heart."
Losa’s voice grew higher and louder, almost filled the entire scarlet world, replacing the dominion of the Blood Knight: "Future generations will certainly judge , soone will pass final judgnt on my coffin, whether I am a tyrant or a wise king. Ultimately, it is not your place, a pseudo-god constructed by vampires, to judge ."
Golden Holy Fla covered his armor.
He raised the Shining Cross Sword high, its radiant glow, at this mont, seed blessed by so unknown Holy Power, instantaneously filled the world.
"Obsessed..."
"Unrepentant..."
The Blood Knight sighed deeply, the giant sword descended from the sky, fiercely striking down.
Golden radiance collided with the blood-colored luminescence, everything beca blurred.
...
In the scarlet world.
Jeanne frowned, examining the surroundings.
It was obvious, they had been separated by this vampire’s spatial magic, sothing she could have easily broken through with Holy Fla in the past, but now she didn’t have such abundant energy.
Looking at it this way, among them, Prajna, who hasn’t been transford into an elite yet, might have the best chance to break through this barrier.
But Prajna was rely in Phase One, her strength limited, depending on her... best rely on the Holy Spear in hand.
Behind her, suddenly footsteps sounded.
Blood coalesced into a vampire’s body, with a smile on its mouth, it politely said: "Madam, your companions are about to die."
"How about we strike a deal?"
"If you just put down your weapon, allow to consu you, I will let them leave. How’s that?"
Its voice was alluring, but Jeanne replied with only two words: "Holy!"
The next mont, an Angel descended.
The blazing Holy brilliance burned the Angel’s body, she raised the Holy Spear in her hand high, throwing the weapon without reservation.
...
Feilaimai Castle.
Outside the window ca the sound of people’s devout prayers.
As if this was not a just-conquered pagan castle, but the Rock Cave Monastery under Saint Catherine Mountain, where evening prayers were taking place.
Hans removed his cloak and wrapped it around the pilgrim shivering in the night cold, with a sword across his chest, in armor, leading the Imperial Guard in patrol.
Feilaimai Castle was frighteningly quiet.
Around the castle, all Crusaders’ divisions sent ssengers, inquiring about the anomalies in the city, all pushed off by Hans as manifestations of the Holy Spear’s miracle.
"Sir Hans, the Marquis will be okay, right?"
"Of course."
Hans wore a confident smile, but when he turned back, a layer of gloom instantly covered his smile.
Furinjira’s complexion turned from pale to lead-gray, her eyes were filled with desolation, the Death Power within her body flowed almost unrestrainedly.
Under normal circumstances, this would be akin to suicide.
The Blood Race of the Blood Royal Court represents ultimate Life Force, fundantally different from the vampires of this world filled with decay scent, seemingly returned from Hell, aside from the mutual use of Blood Magic Power, and developing offspring from humans, they are two distinct creatures.
"Miss."
Kurs hesitated to speak.
Furinjira was in a state of becoming a living corpse, originally such minor magic could never threaten a master like Furinjira in Blood Magic but she was completely unguarded now, even actively guiding Death Essence to transform her own body.
If this continues, she will beco a living corpse.
"Don’t stop, I can feel it!"
After enduring the initial pain, Furinjira actually didn’t feel bad, the world seed covered with a layer of dust, gradually becoming blurry, touch, hearing, sll... the five senses were disappearing.
She seed to have arrived in another world.
In this dim world, a crimson hue flashed, filled with all kinds of negative emotions like resentnt and hatred, that was the power of blood—it looked very close to her, within reach.
But the problematic part was, clearly close yet separated by a very thin, unpenetrable film.
"Keep going, Kurs, use all your Power, I can endure!"
Furinjira truly felt she could withstand it, anyway it wasn’t very painful, even if she beca a living corpse... it was better than constantly bearing this bloodthirsty ghost body, avoiding confronting Losa all the ti.
With a sigh.
The wrinkles on Kurs’s face seed deeper.
He held nothing back, all Blood Magic Power was poured onto the crude Magic Seal on Furinjira, manipulating the corpse.
