"Next, it's ti for us to show our skills."

Giovanni turned to look at the young Wolf Race mber with the horned helt and said,

"Hans, you take the Iron Wing Squadron to roam our left flank and look for opportunities."

The Iron Wing Squadron was a Crusader Cavalry unit composed of Crusader Princes and their knights, numbering over a thousand. Although their equipnt varied, most did not have horse armor, making them more mobile compared to armored cavalry.

Hans nodded and led the Iron Wing Squadron away from the main force.

He stopped his team on a slope and soon identified the "Scorpion Battle Banner" ntioned in the scouts' reports.

"Send a ssage to General Giovanni that I plan to strike the enemy's left flank and ask him to organize support."

Charging directly with heavy cavalry is an extrely costly move. Despite being a great general, Giovanni, mindful of the bloody lessons from the Battle of Agincourt in his ti, found it difficult to decide to make such a charge.

However, in reality, the Saracen infantry line was quite weak, far from the illustrious epochs of the Flemish infantry phalanx, Swiss infantry phalanx, or the formidable English longbown.

"This guy really is reckless."

Giovanni frowned but quickly made a decision: "Since he has identified that as a weak point in the enemy's formation, the Saracens will undoubtedly be wary. Order the Flanders Walloon unit to support and assist General Hans in breaking the enemy's left flank."

Upon receiving the ssage, Orhan laughed heartily: "It's our turn, Charlie, get ready, and don't embarrass us, the Dragon's Blood clan."

Saying this, he disregarded everything, charging ahead like a dragon on his Sharp Claw Dragon towards the enemy.

Charlie cursed, "Brute," and hastily issued orders: "What are you waiting for? Follow my banner, the ti has co to achieve glory. Let the Saracens witness the valor of our Lowland Knights!"

The biting wind and the descending white frost seed to freeze even the drifting sand and dust.

The warhorses exhaled puffs of white mist. So glanced at the battlefield where the sounds of battle had gradually subsided. In the mist, they could vaguely see the last giant beast letting out a mournful cry before collapsing.

The Wild Hunt Knights, wrapped in black cloaks, numbering only a dozen, erged from the white mist. Their eyes with cold flas scanned the enemy before they slowly retreated.

Soon after, the white mist dissipated.

The army from Hell finally vanished without a trace. The armored gear left by the fallen Wild Hunt Knights and the shattered ice crystals of the hunting dogs disappeared entirely, leaving only broken corpses of giant beasts.

"This is the power of Lady Prajna," Hans murmured quietly. Although the Wild Hunt hadn't fought the main enemy force, its final appearance significantly shook enemy morale. If not for so Imams holding ritual Holy Fire Pits to dispel their cold, who knows if they would have the will to advance.

He raised his armored lance high: "Guys, do you see that Scorpion Banner? Whoever captures it before will earn the Iron Wing Squadron's top rit!"

"Hallelujah!"

With that, he pressed his legs against his mount and charged out ahead.

The other noble knights behind him were also incensed. The Iron Wing Squadron's first rit? This battle was almost guaranteed to be a victory. If one could secure such rit, they might at least be rewarded with an Earl's Domain.

Rumble—

The sound of galloping hooves thundered.

Crusader knights, dressed in various cloaks embroidered with different emblems, all raised their lances.

"Stop them!"

The three-thousand-strong Black Gulum unit guarding the enemy's flank imdiately launched a counterattack. These cavalry, originally Nubian northern nomads, were skilled in archery and horseback riding and fired arrows to intercept.

The enemy's left-wing light infantry also released arrows and stones.

Yet the Crusader Knights, bolstered by multiple enhancents, faced the rain of arrows fearlessly, shouting "In the na of God," "For Saint Losa," and "Hallelujah," launching an all-out charge.

Suddenly, the Black Gulum formation faltered, as the Flanders Walloon unit, led by Orhan and Baron Charlie, flanked from the side, targeting the Black Gulum obstructing the Iron Wing Squadron.

The Black Gulum hurriedly switched weapons, preparing for close combat.

Without previous coordination, Hans and Baron Charlie's teamwork was surprisingly seamless, bypassing the obstructing Black Gulum and crashing like a giant siege hamr into the enemy's left flank.

This was a force composed of Coptic recruits, mostly wearing leather or cloth robes, holding wooden square shields and round shields, so lacking iron bands, easily cut through with a single strike.

Many Coptic soldiers, seeing the towering armored cavalry charging at them, were overwheld with fear, lacking the courage to confront the enemy and attempted to flee in all directions.

anwhile, Crusader infantry, the elite armored soldiers, had already engaged the Saracen formations head-on. Both sides deployed their elite forces in the center where shields clashed, and weapons swung furiously, making it hard to discern who had the upper hand.

However, this was the Saracens' most elite infantry. The other formations imdiately fell apart upon engaging the enemy.

Adil wanted to dispatch cavalry from the flanks for support, but the cavalry there was already struggling to hold off the Crusader cavalry, unable to spare additional forces.

Within less than half an hour, parts of the formations were visibly faltering. If not for their nurical superiority, they might already be facing a collapse.

Adil took a deep breath, watching the battle with nervous focus, seeking a solution.

Despite the low chances of exterminating much of the Crusader's main force in one decisive battle, as Shemir said, Adil envisioned no such triumph. Winning would allow continued confrontation with the Crusaders, or at least delay their conquest of all of Egypt, giving Saladin so breathing room in Damascus.

Yet, should they lose, Egypt would soon fall under the Habsburgs' rule.

At that point, the countdown to the Ayyubid Dynasty's demise would begin.

Within just an hour, the battle rapidly deteriorated as the various Saracen coalition forces, harboring their own agendas, lost morale witnessing Losa's arrow strike the Demon Dragon. They could no longer fight a hard battle.

The Coptic troops were especially shaken.

At least the Saracens had fervent religious zeal, but the Coptics lacked the reason and courage to continue fighting.

Efforts continued, propagated by Saracen demonization of the Crusaders, but weren't wholly ineffective, even in a short period, making a difference.

At that mont, Jeanne led the Winged Cavalry and Saint Lazarus Order cavalry, forming a rapid cavalry unit to strike from the flank.

Adil saw the white fleur-de-lis banner imdiately, knowing the Crusaders had decided to unleash their hidden reserves.
