Besides sending the quest to the Aether Organization, Bernard and his people had also sent it to the Nexus Organization.
They believed that having both shifters and mages would greatly increase their chances of success.

When the people guarding the gate noticed the emblem on their jackets, they imdiately brought them to the village head’s place.

While they were having a serious conversation, a blue-haired girl about eighteen years old headed to Bernard’s house.
Her na was none other than Julia Harper, a mber of the Guardian Unit.
Julia was one of the most famous people in the younger generation.
Even though she was not an awakener, she was really strong. She had even killed a magical beast before.
Of course, she didn’t do it alone.
But even so, her achievent was still amazing because it was difficult to kill magical creatures, especially for non-awakeners like her.
Once Julia was in front of his house, she knocked on the door gently. "Village head, are you looking for ?"
Bernard instantly shifted his gaze to her.
"Julia, co in." he didn’t close the door, so he could see her.
Julia stepped into the living room and stood beside them.

She knew their identities from the emblem on their jackets.

Once she sat on the couch, they continued their discussion.
Bernard involved Julia in the planning discussion since she was one of their main fighters.
While they were looking for the best plan, Axel and the others arrived at Bernard’s house.
"Village Head, the people from the Nexus Organization have arrived." The brown-haired man said politely.
Bernard and the others stopped talking and turned toward the source of the sound.
The mont Axel and his lackeys saw the people from the Aether Organization, their expressions changed.
The hostility between the two factions had long spread to their mbers, so their hatred toward Ren and the others was only natural.
Bernard imdiately rose to his feet and approached them with a warm smile. "Please, co in."
"Village Chief, what is the aning of all this?" Despite talking to the elder, Axel showed no respect at all.
He was from the Nexus Organization.
Their status was much above Bernard and the others.
"Young friend, I don’t understand your question. Did we do sothing wrong?" Bernard was confused.

"But the organization knows we left to take this mission. What should we say if we return without completing it?" Luka was afraid that their faction would punish them for their decision.
Axel didn’t say anything and only stared at them.
