"Master, this should be the place."
Huo Ling’er’s voice rang out as she held a small map in her hand, tracing the red ’X’ marked at its center with her fingers.
Hearing her words, Chen Xuan slowed to a stop.
He swept his gaze across the endless blue sea and extended his divine sense as he descended into the water alongside his two disciples.
None of them sank.
Even Qi Refining cultivators could stand on water freely, let alone cultivators of their level.
Chen Xuan used his divine sense to investigate his surroundings, while part of his attention remained on Huo Ling’er and Chi Yao.
Only a few days had passed since their unfortunate arrival in the Nine Origins Seas.
Yet in that short span of ti, both won had undergone remarkable changes.
Part of it stemd from their new environnt, but the rewards Chen Xuan had bestowed upon them played a far greater role.
Their auras had grown noticeably stronger.
The crimson hue Huo Ling’er’s hair had beco increasingly more vibrant, while Chi Yao’s dark pupils now resembled miniature black holes capable of devouring light itself.
Even Chen Xuan was briefly stunned by their transformation.
But the very next mont, his eyes brightened.
"Follow ."
His voice was soft, yet the mont the words left his mouth, his figure blurred into a streak of light and shot toward the horizon.
The two won hurried after him, urging their cultivation to keep up with his pace.
--
"Roar!"
A deafening roar echoed across the sea, followed by the unbearable sound of flesh being torn apart.
Blood sprayed in every direction, staining a vast area of ocean crimson.
The "victim" was a gigantic crab.
Despite possessing an ordinary bloodline, it had relied on its superb perseverance and several fortunate encounters to reach the Nascent Soul realm.
Unfortunately, none of that mattered before its current opponent. It was unable to offer any resistance.
A dragon-like claw erged from the lower half of a colossal serpent and pierced through its body.
It tore deep into it and crushed the crab’s heart, while its massive jaws tore into its flesh, devouring great chunks of at.
The entire scene was brutal and primitive, overflowing with savagery and animalistic instinct.
Hidden high above, Huo Ling’er’s face was instantly drained of all its color.
Although she had participated in several battles and had even killed people before, the scene unfolding before her was completely different.
The flying, minced flesh, the blood-soaked sea, and the beast’s brutal ferocity left her shaken.
In contrast, both Chen Xuan and Chi Yao remained calm.
The forr, in particular, silently observed the majestic sea beast.
He watched as the surrounding tides bent to its will. Streaks of gentle blue light gathered around its body, as though able to distort space itself.
The sight imdiately revealed its true identity.
Void Tide Leviathan—one of the most infamous sea beasts, born with an innate affinity to space.
’It seems that Huo Ling’er’s discovery was correct.’
’There’s a high probability that a powerful inheritance lies sowhere nearby.’
’Otherwise, a creature like this wouldn’t linger so close to human territory.’
Chen Xuan’s eyes narrowed.
But at the sa ti, he knew full well that the so-called inheritance was not his primary objective at the mont.
He had not co here to obtain riches, but to gather the space-related materials required to activate the Cross-Domain Teleportation Array.
Thinking of this, his gaze settled on the massive creature.
After observing it for several minutes, he gestured for Huo Ling’er and Chi Yao to step aside.
Then, while operating the Yin-Yang Great Origin Dao to conceal his presence, he quietly approached the Void Tide Leviathan.
Although the sea beast was feasting on its prey, it never relaxed its vigilance and remained alert to potential threats.
It had not reached such heights through sheer luck alone.
Competition among sea beasts was fierce and rciless.
Not only this creature, but every beast was extrely cautious.
Fortunately, after entering the secret realm and studying that mysterious tablet, the extraordinary effects of the Yin-Yang Great Origin Dao had begun to reveal themselves.
Even as he reached eighty feet near the massive beast, it showed no sign of noticing him.
Still, he didn’t dare to advance any farther.
His intuition warned him that he had reached the limit.
Any closer and the Void Tide Leviathan would detect him.
Thankfully, such a distance was insignificant to a cultivator of his level. He could cross it in the blink of an eye, giving the opponent little ti to react.
A thought flashed through his mind.
An ordinary-looking saber flew out of his spatial ring and materialized in his right hand.
Holy Weapon—Common Saber.
At the sa ti, he communicated with Honglan.
Within his Dantian, her figure shattered into countless golden specks of light before reappearing as a majestic golden sword in his left hand.
With a Holy Weapon and an Artifact in hand, Chen Xuan possessed the confidence to deal with even peak Nascent Soul cultivators.
The only reason he had been so cautious was partly because of the Void Tide Leviathan’s imposing reputation, and partly because he was afraid that it would escape.
Once his preparations were complete, Chen Xuan moved without hesitation.
The Nascent Soul within his Dantian opened its eyes and pointed toward the heavens.
Spiritual Energy erupted from his body and gathered from the surrounding world, pouring into the sword and the saber respectively.
A terrifying pressure descended.
Half of the sky above Chen Xuan was dyed black, and the other half white.
The two colors intertwined, gradually rging into sothing greater.
Chen Xuan attacked!
One mont, he stood nearly a hundred feet away, while the next, he appeared directly above the Void Tide Leviathan.
The beast’s pupils shrank in fear.
Under its shocked eyes, the powers of the sword and saber collided, giving birth to a colossal black-and-white divine wheel.
The wheel expanded rapidly, filling the leviathan’s vision.
Its reflection grew larger and larger within its pupils before it finally crashed down upon it.
