In a vast clearing not far from the Spirit Stone mine, two won stood facing one another.

One had crimson hair and radiated a fierce, blazing pressure, while the other had flowing purple hair and carried herself with cold and aloof indifference.

"Junior Sister, co! Let this Senior Sister teach you how to fight!" Huo Ling’er shouted.

The next instant, her figure blurred.

She appeared beside Chi Yao.

A crimson, fiery sheen coiled around her arms as she turned them into fists and punched forward.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The force of her punches created explosive sonic booms that echoed across the clearing, while a sea of flas erupted from her body.

Despite her earlier playful words, Huo Ling’er’s expression was savage and bloodthirsty, showing absolutely no intention of holding back against her so-called "Junior Sister".

It was as if she were aiming to kill her sparring opponent!

Chi Yao imdiately sensed the murderous intent hidden beneath her blows.

However, she remained perfectly calm.

Without activating any technique, she simply raised a hand and pushed forward with her palm.

Yet, her seemingly unassuming hand slipped easily through Huo Ling’er’s defenses, landing squarely at her abdon.

Huo Ling’er coughed up a mouthful of blood and was sent flying.

But just as it seed she had suffered serious injuries, she abruptly shot back to her feet.

A sword materialized in her hand—the Spirit Weapon Chen Xuan had gifted her after her previous breakthrough.

Activating the Nirvana Phoenix Flas, she charged forward once more.

Faced with a Spirit Weapon, Chi Yao finally beca serious.

Even so, she had no need to summon the Demon Emperor’s Halberd.

Countless demonic spells flowed out of her hands, converging toward Huo Ling’er from every direction.

The difference in their respective combat experiences quickly beca apparent.

Soon, Huo Ling’er crashed heavily into the ground once again.

"Senior Sister Huo, please stop," Chi Yao said coldly, "I already told you I have no desire to spar with you. Please respect my wishes—"

Before she could finish speaking, a fist slamd straight onto her head.

The "defeated" Huo Ling’er suddenly sprang back up, taking advantage of Chi Yao’s lowered guard to launch an attack.

After delivering the punch, she didn’t stop there.

A ferocious glint flashed through her eyes as she lunged forward like a madwoman.

Her hands seized Chi Yao’s hair and yanked violently in opposite directions, as if intending to rip her scalp apart.

At the sa ti, she lowered her head and opened her mouth, aiming to bite directly into Chi Yao’s flesh.

Crunch!

Her ruthless actions caught Chi Yao off guard.

She was indeed a Demon Empress in her previous life and had experienced countless bloody battles.

Yet even she had never expected that Huo Ling’er would fight so desperately during what was supposed to be a spar.

A thought suddenly erged in her mind.

’Could it be that she discovered the secret of my previous life?’

A similar killing intent flashed through her eyes.

She could not allow this woman to live.

For so reason, she had a strong feeling that Huo Ling’er would beco her greatest enemy in the future!

Just as Chi Yao prepared to draw the Demon Emperor’s Halberd, and Huo Ling’er’s next strike was about to land, a black dot appeared on the distant horizon.

The next mont, it landed in the clearing, accompanied by an inexplicable power.

A powerful force swept outward, forcibly separating the two won and abruptly ending the fight.

Both of them turned murderous!

Who dared interfere while they were trying to kill soone?

However, as their newfound divine senses extended outward and locked onto the newcor’s appearance, they forcefully suppressed their killing intent.

"Master!" Huo Ling’er called out imdiately.

The crimson glow in her eyes faded as she hurriedly wiped the blood and fresh flesh from her lips while hiding the bloody sword behind her back.

A sweet, obedient smile appeared on her face as she looked at Chen Xuan.

Chi Yao’s reaction was slightly slower, but she also restrained her aura before turning toward Chen Xuan and giving a respectful nod.

Their "well-behaved" behavior, however, only made Chen Xuan’s expression even darker.

Sensing the overwhelming murderous intent in the clearing and seeing the injuries both won had sustained, he could not help but frown.

"What exactly are the two of you doing?" he questioned coldly.

He gave them no chance to answer before continuing:

"I’ve only been gone for less than a day, and you guys are already trying to kill one another?

"Would I have found two lifeless corpses if I were just a few minutes late?" he scolded, his voice harsher with every word.

Huo Ling’er’s face turned pale.

She forced herself to look up at him, speaking in a trembling voice.

"M—master, it’s not my fault. I only invited Junior Sister Chi to spar since we both recently broke through."

"But she... she... she is a demonic cultivator!" Huo Ling’er nearly burst into tears, looking incredibly aggrieved.

Chi Yao, who stood nearby, initially had no intention of explaining herself.

But when she heard Huo Ling’er’s accusations, a surge of anger arose within her.

’Damn it!’

She had not expected that her ntally unstable Senior Sister was such a great actress!

Had she not personally experienced everything herself, even she might have believed that pitiful expression.

"Master," Chi Yao spoke up, "Senior Sister Huo suddenly dragged out of the Spirit Stone mine and insisted on sparring with , claiming she wants to teach how to fight."

"However, during the fight, she repeatedly attempted to kill ."

"I suspect she has been possessed by a demon." Chi Yao spoke in a heavy voice, looking at Huo Ling’er with faint concern in her gaze.

Chen Xuan had already been left speechless by Huo Ling’er’s performance.

Chi Yao’s response only pushed him beyond the edge.

Did these two girls truly think he was blind?

He was a Nascent Soul expert!

How could he fail to see through their little thoughts?

His expression darkened.

Just as both won seed ready to continue defending themselves, Chen Xuan abruptly waved a hand.

"That’s enough! You’ll both be punished for the next week," he said.

He gave them no ti to protest.

Enveloping them with his Spiritual Energy, he rose into the sky, dragging them alongside him toward the Spirit Stone mine.
