The mont those words escaped Elaine’s mouth, Yohan spat out his drink. He was taken aback, hearing her proposal out of blue,this is the last thing he was expecting to hear in a place like this.
Lucine was also surprised. It was indeed sudden proposal; Yohan barely knew her, and this was the first ti he was eting her. However, the two ladies standing by her side were not surprised; they seed to understand she was serious regarding that proposal.
"What are you talking..." Yohan wanted to know why she wanted to get entangle with him. The man that she was following was already dead, and she was free to leave for wherever she belonged.
"My lord,i know this is sudden but please hear out once, can I talk to you in private?" Before Yohan could ask anything, she looked at him with a serious gaze. Seeing that look on her face, Yohan turned silent, but a mont later he nodded his head in response. There was sothing different about this woman that was making him restless for so reason; he wanted to know her origin and more importantly reason why she wanted to beco his concubine.
"Can I prepare a room for you?" the old man,the owner of the inn imdiately jumped and said while wearing an excited look on his face. Yohan felt goosebumps all over his body seeing this old man getting excited our of nowhere; the old man had a weird smile on his face. The entire inn was looking at Yohan, including those two won; Elaine was not affected by any of this.
’This bastard,’ Yohan inwardly thought cursing the old man inwardly; after all, he was making him look bad in front of the people who were presented there.
’Do you want to beat him?’ Lucine’s voice echoed in Yohan’s head. Yohan frowned and shook his head, as he had had enough for today,he lost his appetite and thirst for drink,he simply wanted to leave and head back to his clan,having that thought in his head Yohan took a deep breath.
" I am done for today; we are leaving" Yohan said as he looked at the old man. Elaine freaked out hearing Yohan; she thought he would leave without hearing her out.
"My lord..."
"You are coming with !" Before she tried to persuade him, Yohan took her by surprise with his words.
She felt relieved and imdiately bowed her head in response,a bright smile appered on her face knowing he is willing to give her a chance to explain.
"What about these two?" Lucine who were sitting right before yohan asked, signaling toward those two rchant ladies who were standing there with Elaine.
Lucine was worried after all, they couldn’t leave them here surrounded by rcenaries and thugs; they might get targeted by the people whom that man bullied. Now that he was killed by yohan, their target would be these won who were following him,leaving them is simply putting their life in danger.
"They are your responsibility; bring them to the Lin clan for the ti being," Yohan said as he looked at Lucine.
"My responsibility?" Lucine pointed his finger toward his own chest; he was dumbfounded by Yohan’s words.
"But Master Yohan..."
"See you at the clan," Yohan said, and with those words, he took a small pouch from his spatial ring and tossed it in the old man’s direction.
The old man’s eyes lit up seeing that amount of money, but he was hesitant to take any money from Yohan, knowing he might have offended him. But alas, after giving it so thought, he simply accepted it and bowed his head.
After giving him a substantial amount of silver coins worth a couple of years of his inco, Yohan tossed those Mad Monkey Boozes inside his spatial ring, thinking they might co in handy in the future.
"But how can I bring these two?" Seeing Yohan intended to leave with Elaine, Lucine couldn’t hold himself back. He was not good with ladies and worried how he would take them to the Lin clan; finding a carriage at this hour would be a headache in a small city, and even if he found one, it would take a full night’s journey to reach the Lin clan.
Seeing him struggling, Yohan took a long sigh; this guy was indeed slow.
"I am sure with your cultivation base you can carry a couple of individuals. Carrying two won is like a walk in the park?" Yohan said while wearing a mischievous smile on his face, and with those words, he extended his hand in Elaine’s direction.
Elaine’s cheeks slightly turned red seeing Yohan asking for her hand. With slight hesitation, she took Yohan’s hand, and the next mont, the two of them disappeared from the inn, taking everyone by surprise, including Lucine.
The mont Yohan disappeared from the inn along with Elaine, the entire place turned upside down. People started running toward the exit in order to leave the place as fast as they could; they didn’t care about anything other than leaving that place in one piece.
The old man inwardly cursed these people for leaving the place without even paying for the drinks and food they had before Yohan and Lucine’s appearance.
Lucine was dejected, sitting at the table, not caring about anything else that was happening there; he was unaffected by the chaos.
"Are you okay..." One of the sisters looked at Lucine and asked if he was alright or not; he seed to be deeply occupied in his own thoughts.
Lucine bitterly smiled and signaled them to follow him. The two of them nodded their heads in response while wearing embarrassed looks on their faces; after all, Yohan’s words were still echoing in their heads: he had asked him to carry them to the Lin clan.
anwhile, at the sa ti, the figure of a handso man could be seen carrying a beautiful woman in his arms, piercing the clouds in the night sky, moving in a particular direction.
"Are you scared of heights?" Yohan asked, seeing how Elaine was clutching his robe, not daring to look at the ground. He could feel her warm breath and the nervousness in her body.
"This is my first ti being this far from the ground... I never thought a day would co when I would be carried by you!" she said, finally looking at Yohan’s face, which was dazzling under the moonlight; his eyes were deep, making her drawn to him.
"First ti, huh..." Yohan whispered, and with those words, sothing unexpected happened that took Elaine by surprise.
"What..." Those were the words that escaped from her mouth along with a look of disbelief, as she found herself falling to the ground. Her body drifted like a falling star; she was shocked and surprised, only to see the cold look in Yohan’s eyes.

"When did you learn?" Elaine whispered while falling. Her gaze was fixated on Yohan as he was standing in the sky with closed hands, looking at her like so kind of ancient being peering into the abyss.
