Listening to Guang Ling’s explanation, the Capitalist temporarily set aside his dissatisfaction.

The Capitalist had invested considerable effort into this rcenary Corps mission.

Currently, only Master Ma from the entire rcenary Corps was directly involved in this operation. Master Ma remained silent, just listening quietly.

King Arthur was the first to speak. "I have indeed obtained so valuable intelligence."

Lin Qi didn’t speak imdiately. Instead, he and the others looked toward King Arthur.

King Arthur slowly explained, "According to my investigation in the European Administrative Region, I discovered that before its technological breakthrough, Ninghang Technology had backed a shell company there."

"Through the shell company and the operations of so rcenaries, Ninghang Technology entered into a partnership with the Round Table Conference."

When he ntioned the Round Table Conference, King Arthur subconsciously glanced in Lin Qi’s direction.

Given Lin Qi’s profession as a Wizard, he was expected to be particularly sensitive to intelligence regarding the Round Table Conference.

Unfortunately, in the eting room Guang Ling had convened, every mber’s face was shrouded in shadow, and King Arthur couldn’t see Lin Qi’s expression.

In truth, Lin Qi’s expression was unchanged.

After all, Lin Qi wasn’t so rogue Wizard who had casually revealed his identity long ago.

Long before the Round Table Conference initiated the Witch Hunt, Lin Qi had cautiously used an Exoskeleton, making it look like a Prosthetic Body and keeping his Wizard Profession perfectly concealed.

Everyone who knew Lin Qi in the real world believed he was an avid enthusiast of Prosthetic Body implants.

After glancing at Lin Qi, King Arthur continued, "According to the intel, the actual project they collaborated on was the *Space-M* plan. The specifics of this plan involved a joint venture for mining minerals on the Moon."

"Furthermore, I learned more details about the *Space-M* plan. About two years ago, its security classification was suddenly raised from A-Class to X-Class. Shortly after, the Round Table Conference launched its Witch Hunt, and at the sa ti, the shell company controlled by Ninghang Technology in the European Administrative Region was deregistered."

"According to speculation from an insider I know, the key production material for Ninghang Technology’s new product, the Ning Xin, cos from the *Space-M* plan—aning, from the Moon."

The others didn’t react much to the intelligence King Arthur provided.

All it did was point out the origin of the materials for their target.

The new mber Jingang even voiced his concern, "This mission isn’t going to make us take a trip to a Cyber City on the Moon, is it? That’s a bit too far for an assignnt."

Distance affects mission difficulty.

Naturally, the idea of going all the way to the Moon made it seem like the mission’s difficulty was skyrocketing.

Hearing Jingang’s concern, the Capitalist, however, wasn’t anxious at all. "If the mission is on the Moon, I can make the arrangents. The Big Business Alliance has established transport routes between Earth and the Moon."

The others were rely thinking in terms of distance.

But Lin Qi was different.

The Moon!

The Moon again!

Recalling the state of the chip he had observed, as well as the Blood Moon of the Doomsday World, Lin Qi was struck by a vague, ominous feeling.

’Don’t tell the Moon in the Cyber World has its own issues, too?’

’The only silver lining is that in the Cyber World, even if the sky falls and the Moon turns into the final boss, there are bigger guys to deal with it.’

After everyone had spoken, Guang Ling said, "The intelligence King Arthur provided is very valuable. It fills in the gaps in my missing information and is enough for him to be an official participant in this mission."

Guang Ling’s phrasing was a bit convoluted, but put in the words of a typical rcenary Corps boss, it ant: "King Arthur, good work! You’re in. You get a cut of the score!"

The Capitalist had no objection to Guang Ling’s decision.

After all, King Arthur’s intel had given the mission a new breakthrough.

If the mission hit a dead end, they could always take a trip to the Moon. The payout for this job was high enough to make even ten trips there seem profitable.

Guang Ling and the Capitalist had no objections, and Jingang had even less cause to.

He was a new mber, and by the looks of it, the greenest one in the rcenary Corps. He wouldn’t dare object.

Next, all eyes fell on Lin Qi.

King Arthur’s intel was already stunning. What about Lin Qi’s?

King Arthur looked at Lin Qi, more curious than anyone.

After all, in King Arthur’s view, the Wizard had only decided to get involved in this mission today.

He wondered what kind of intelligence the Wizard could have possibly gathered in less than twenty-four hours to make Guang Ling deem him a direct participant on the strength of that information alone, just as he had.

Lin Qi’s intelligence wasn’t as detailed as King Arthur’s.

"Using a special thod, I observed the Ningxin Chip directly. On the chip, I detected the traits of an Extraordinary Item."

He was only halfway through his report, but the others were already feeling a little disappointed.

The impact of this intel was nowhere near as stunning as King Arthur’s.

After all, King Arthur’s information was practically sending them to the Moon.

But the second half of Lin Qi’s report delivered a much greater shock. "Beyond the traits of an Extraordinary Item, I also observed a biological reaction from the Ningxin Chip itself. In my perception, the chip seems to be a living thing."

Silence.

The eting room fell silent.

It wasn’t that they didn’t care about Lin Qi’s intelligence, but that they were all too shocked to speak.

An Extraordinary Item... a living thing? As an implantable Prosthetic Body!

Such a combination defied all understanding.

The Capitalist, who had gathered a great deal of intel through the Big Business Alliance’s channels, was the most directly stunned. He imdiately asked, "A living thing? Could it just be a cellular-neural-structure chip? I recall many corporations have researched bio-chips. A lot of those use synapse-like materials and connection thods."
