Now it was Miles rubbing his own sore backside.
Aisha said, "Stop... ugh, whatever. Knock yourself out."
He'd heard about [Mirror Force] for ages, but this was the first ti he'd actually eaten one in a duel.
Yeah... it hurt. More than crashing Aisha's body into the ground.
"Call it payback. You cheesed , I cheesed you. All's fair in love and duels, Aisha."
"True. Who hasn't gotten cheesed at least once?"
Miles quickly refocused.
Thankfully, the only monster in Attack Position was [King's Knight]. [Crowned by the World Chalice] was still in Defense, safe from destruction. A 2100 DEF wall was more than enough to stop a 900 ATK angel.
"I Set one card. Turn end."
"My turn! Draw!"
Luca's sapphire eyes narrowed into mischievous crescents.
"I bet you're thinking that your little maiden can hold off my rose angel, aren't you, Aisha?"
Aisha yelled, "Miles-san, she—she's psychic!!"
Sa, honestly.
"But... she can't."
Luca brushed her fingertips against her card. The crimson-winged [Queen Angel of Roses], still damaged but standing, flared to life.
"At the start of my turn, [Queen Angel of Roses] activates her effect: destroy the monster on the field with the lowest ATK."
Wounded but relentless, the angel flapped her crimson wings. A scarlet rose hurricane erupted.
"Destroy [Crowned by the World Chalice] (ATK 0)! —Thorn Hurricane!"
Effect destruction ignored DEF. The steel maiden was shredded—her pale skin lashed with cuts as her form shattered into pixels.
With the wall gone, Miles was wide open.
In a 2000-LP practical, an empty field was terrifying.
"Now... ti to end this. Take over, my other self~."
Ding-ling—!
Crystal clear. Miles could swear on Aisha's head—he wasn't hearing things.
The Millennium Ring's chi, coming from the girl standing across the field—Luca Slint. Wherever she'd hidden it... the source was undeniable.
After the third chi, there was no room left for doubt.
"Stepping into the darkness... fine. Let deliver the finishing blow."
Sa body. Sa voice. But everything about Luca now felt... wrong.
Aisha shouted, "Miles-san! Luca—!"
"Yeah. She swapped souls."
Judging by the clueless expressions of their classmates... only Miles and Aisha noticed.
Not surprising. No one had ever caught their soul swaps either.
This... this was sothing only Millennium Item holders could sense.
Luca drew her card, flipping it with a sharp flick. Her usual sunny smile carried a new, subtle edge of malice.
"I activate the effect of Fallen Angel of Roses!"
"Fallen... Angel?"
If [Queen Angel of Roses] embodied the holy bloom of crimson elegance—then this was her shadow, a rose witch who'd fallen into absolute darkness.
"Her effect lets swap with [Queen Angel of Roses] on the field."
White and black wings crossed. Visually... it mirrored Luca's outfit—her black-and-white asymtrical stockings.

Identical Level and stats. The dark-winged witch stepped into the arena—legs crossed, clad in alternating white and black.
"So... white and black can swap freely. Figures."
Miles had assud Luca's summoning [Queen Angel] ant her soul was pure.
Nope. The paired reveal of [Fallen Angel] proved it—the angel was a front. This was the real Luca: duality personified.
"After swapping, [Fallen Angel of Rose] returns to her full 2400 ATK. And you? You've got nothing on the field. Direct attack!"
A jet-black rose hurricane blasted toward Miles, who braced for defeat.
"When you declare a direct attack—Trap Card activate! Counter Gate!"
A C-rank trap—less powerful than [Mirror Force] but still useful.
A dinsional gate shimred into being, blocking the lethal black petals.
"According to [Counter Gate]'s effect—your direct attack is negated, and I draw one card. If it's a monster, I summon it in Attack Position!"
Fingers sliding over the Elves' Eyes, Miles swiftly drew.
Aisha's erald eyes sparkled as she saw the card.
"I Normal Summon—Relinkuriboh!"
[Relinkuriboh] Level 1│DARK│Fiend / Effect│ATK 300 / DEF 200
"Kuri-kuri~!"
With a puff and a sparkle, the fluffy little gray Kuriboh materialized on Aisha's field—ready to take on the darkness itself.
