"Baadduuuuh!"
Vale was patiently waiting by the cloth strears while watching Larry, who’d been playing with the leather clothes they’d gotten from the cat people’s corpses. While not all of them seed to leave their clothes behind, most of them did, which provided them with much-needed material!
The thing Larry had stitched together was crude... but it was a thing — unlike many of its other creations. Larry had managed to make a crude drum with a removable leather lid.

’Oh... oh my.’
’Oh my god!’
’Larry!’
Vale rushed over to the little imp and scooped them up. As he did, Larry lost his grip on the barrel, and it fell to the floor. As it crashed into the floor, it made a slight cracking sound; however, Vale didn’t care about the destruction of the barrel, as it was reproducible.
What he cared about more was that Larry had leveled up his artisanry.
Larry scread in protest as he watched life’s works shatter and fall apart below him.
"Baduuuuuh?!"
Vale, holding the imp by the arms, spun in glee.
Larry’s feelings soon grew to absolute fear as his body flew helplessly in the air, its tail smacking into the barrel with each revolution, exacerbating the damage, while simultaneously Awilix was chasing the end of its tail with dubious wonder in her golden eyes, threatening to rip it off.
"Baaaaadduuuuuuuuuuh!"
Larry let out an ambivalent scream.
For once, its master finally recognized it. On the other hand, its work had been destroyed, and a rampaging cat was threatening its life!
Salo and Toy rounded the corner. When Vale spotted them, he let go of the little imp’s arms — the centripetal force built up helping to send Larry flying across the room.
Awilix watched with intense curiosity as the little red guy went bye-bye.
"BAAAADUUUUuuuuuuhhhh....."
As the imps’ screams faded to an echo, Vale greeted Salo and Toy.

It seed Xina didn’t give them the best briefing on what Vale discovered. All she’d told them was to ’talk to Master Vale.’
Xina was still sulking in her usual spot by the front of the cave, but at least she seed to have made friends with the two new Warriors. Stacy, on the other hand, was much closer to Salo and tended to replicate Salo’s hate toward the icy owl. But, for now, Stacy was at her post, guarding the strears at the end of the maze.
As for Vale, Toy, and Salo, they’d retreated to the new core room where Vale sat on his throne and prepared for their discussion.
"No..."
He’d already explained to Salo the thod he had of advancing in rank, which seed different from the typicality — he’d explained to her the need for another dungeon of the sa rank’s core.
While he knew before he could rise to Ergent, he’d need to find another Nascent Dungeon, but to think he found one so soon... or at least he thought it to be another dungeon, and a Nascent one at that.
Not that he’d actually found it. Vale only had an instinctual feeling.
His feeling would only be truly confird once they found it for real. To that end, that was why he had Toy and Salo, the two who’d explored the most outside, to et with him. He wanted to send them on an expedition to find this dungeon.
Toy, when she’d heard the order, imdiately jumped for joy
"Yes, sir!"
It took Vale a second to realize it was because she’d get to get away from the imps.
’She hates them that much?’
Salo looked puzzled by sothing. An odd expression was plastered on her face...
It didn’t look as if she doubted Vale’s intuition, but sothing else was definitely on her mind.
"So, you want us to go on this quest to find this dungeon?"
"Correct." Vale studied to quizzical look on her face before asking, "Is sothing troubling you?"
Salo paused for a mont before she leered at Awilix.
"That cat... I want to bring her with us."
Awilix, who’d been sitting on the arm of the throne, stretched and lay on Vale’s lap, then, after a yawn, replied:
"Huh? Is your head okay?"
Salo simpered, then replied:
"My head is just fine, kitten."
Awilix growled and bore her fangs, but Salo seed completely unfazed and unimpressed by the barbaric gesture.
Vale just let out a light sigh and asked:
"Why do you want to take Awilix?"
Salo gave a coy smirk and stepped toward the throne, startling the cat and putting her on high alert.
"Her ability... the Eclipse one you told about. I want to test it out... from what I’ve seen, the hardest to understand traits are typically the strongest. It’s bound to be useful. Also, I wanted to... get to know her."
Awilix continued to let out a low growl and hugged onto Vale’s neck while glaring at the winged demoness who was inching closer.
Vale craned his head to the side and flipped his view between Salo and Awilix, quickly assessing the situation. Vale had zero clue what Eclipse could possibly be or how it would prove useful, but sending the cat away from him was too risky an endeavour, even if the mystery could be revealed.
"I don’t think Awilix is ready to leave the dungeon yet."
’Or my side really... and what do you want to do to her?!’
Salo gave a heartfelt smile as she reached out toward Awilix. Awilix then tried to bite Salo, forcing her to jump away.
"If you want to eat so badly, ask politely. I don’t mind a nibble or two ᥫ᭡."
Awilix snapped at Salo.
"Seriously, sothing is wrong with your head, thrall."
Salo didn’t even give Awilix the ti of day to respond. She just turned on her heel and walked away to begin her preparation for tomorrow’s excursion. Toy quickly pursued her master.
The mont they left, Awilix snarled at their backs, then turned to Vale.
As she looked into Vale’s eyes, she placed her thighs on either side of Vale’s and showed him the light glimring in her golden irises was starting to grow.
Awilix placed one hand on Vale’s chest and began to trace his pecs while ripping off her own clothes with her other.
She was once again horny, and Vale was responsible for teaching her a lesson.
