Now reading: Chapter 42 42: Being my angel from DxD: The Holy Knight!, a Action novel by verse7.

"A six winged fallen angel!?"

Given her high class strength, she corresponded exactly to a six winged fallen angel among their ranks.

This made sense except for the complications involved. The complications included Akeno, who was a hybrid fallen angel when she got reincarnated as a devil.

She should have devil wings or hybrid fallen angel wings.

But now, she had revealed complete fallen angel wings. Whether from her aura or other aspects, she looked like a pure fallen angel.

Yasuhiro's judgnt was accurate. He had hunted down quite a few fallen angels in europe, so he was not entirely ignorant about them.

"Due to the enhanced evil piece?!" Yasuhiro pondered as he realized that this mutation might have been caused by the pieces.

"Yasuhiro, you are indeed correct. These three pairs of filthy wings appeared shortly after you improved our evil pieces."

"Anyways, they've transford into an utterly detestable fallen angel."

After speaking, Akeno folded her black wings, seemingly not wanting to reveal them any further, and sat down.

"My improvents to Rias's pieces were all based on the best possible outcos..."

Before Yasuhiro could finish speaking, Akeno interrupted him. "Yasuhiro, are you saying that all of this has nothing to do with you? How irresponsible."

"Let finish." Yasuhiro stopped Akeno, "Just like I said, everything was chosen based on the possible outco. Even the increase in your demonic power under pieces influence was only considered in light of your situation."

"Besides, are you still considered Rias's servant?" Yasuhiro was quite curious about this.

Strictly speaking, yes.

Beneath Akeno's feet unfolded a crimson magic circle, unique to the gremory clan clearly signifying her status as a mber of Rias's peerage.

"Not a devil, but a devil's servant. Now I increasingly feel like a monster. From hybrid fallen angel to hybrid devil and now I don't even know what I am anymore," Akeno sighed.

"Sadly, I can't deal with your fallen angel bloodline." Yasuhiro glanced at Akeno with pure seriousness.

A smug mischievous glint appeared in Akeno's eyes. From their first eting, she had always been bullied and teased by this guy, she never expected him to have a day like this.

"Yasuhiro, you look exactly like that kind of guy now, a scumbag who plays with the feelings of girls and leaves them behind."

"Relationships are always about mutual consent, aren't they? If you insists on forcing yourself onto ."

"I-Its not like that." Akeno was stuttering.

"Alright, if that's what you want, I won't refuse. What do you want to do?"

Akeno glared at Yasuhiro resentfully. The more he talked, the more the topic veered off course making it sound like she was desperate.

Nevermind, I should just do what i want...

"Use brave saint cards on ."

"You... you aren't kidding, are you?"

Yasuhiro nearly stood up.

"You want to use brave saint card to perform angelic reincarnation. Do you know exact what that ans?"

"I know, I will truly beco a monster in every sense of the word, neither the underworld nor heaven nor the grigori will be able to tolerate ."

Akeno stated that the past few days had given her ti to think things through, and she simply couldn't accept the three pairs of wings unfolding behind her.

Yasuhiro was thinking about the cards.

He knew the effects of the cards he had created. However, he couldn't guarantee whether the brave saint cards currently being developed in heaven could transform Akeno, who was now a pure fallen angel to an angel.

After all, there was no precedent in history for a fallen angel to beco an angel again after falling from heaven.

However, he could guarantee the success of his own cards.

But, He was afraid that this would provoke so old fogies who were barely clinging to life, especially those pure blood devils in the underworld.

Though, Yasuhiro rarely concerned himself with these people. It was fine if they just kept to themselves but if they turned their anger on him, he wouldn't hesitate to annihilate a few clans.

Soon he took out a card.

This was the Queen of Hearts card from his deck.

Yasuhiro was curious about what it would be like for a fallen angel to be reincarnated as an Angel.

Akeno had exceptional talent and aptitude, especially having inherited the power of lightning from her father, making her fully worthy of the queen of hearts card.

"After I fuse with the brave saint card, will I beco your servant, my dear new master?" Akeno said in a seductive tone.

"Strictly speaking yes, But I'll use the cards features to let you be her servant in the na only. She'll not even find out."

When the brave saint cards were created, he never imagined that he'd need to form a peerage like the devils did.

Right now, all he wanted Akeno to work as a spy for him.

"I thought that after being reincarnated as an angel, I'd have to sever my relationship with Rias, which made agonize over it for days," Akeno looked visibly happy.

"Even in na only, it makes happy."

"However, If I ask you to kill Rias, You'd have to do it. So, do you still want to be my angel?"

"Yes..." Akeno said slowly.

"There is sothing else I need to ntion beforehand."

Ignoring Akeno's pained expression, Yasuhiro continued, "You'll never have a chance to regret it again. From now on, humans, fallen angels and devils will all be forever out of your reach."

Yasuhiro was afraid that Akeno had made this decision on a whim.

"I understand," Akeno nodded slowly.
