The world was always turbulent—peace never lasted for long, and waves always followed calm waters.

Leo still had no idea that a certain acquaintance was about to return, and even if he knew, he probably wouldn't care much.

What mattered to him more was the future growth of his servants—especially the newly joined Mahiru.

This angel who had willingly abandoned her identity as an angel was, like him and Yukino, a Longinus wielder. And her Longinus ranked even higher than Yukino's, instantly making her potential the highest among all Eligos servants. Leo couldn't possibly overlook that.

So for the past several days, Leo personally handled Mahiru's training. Just like he did with Yukino in the beginning, he taught her how to control demonic power, how to use her Sacred Gear, and even supervised her nightti devil activities. It was exactly like when he first brought Yukino under him—practically a hand-holding imrsion into the world of devils.

Mahiru studied earnestly. She could feel Leo's seriousness, and she could feel—deeply—the warmth of being expected and needed. For soone who had grown up without love, she fell for this feeling almost imdiately.

Originally, Mahiru's true personality leaned toward sensitive, wary, and distant. The gentle angel persona everyone knew was nothing but an act.

But under Leo's guidance, she beca increasingly obedient when facing him. Her eyes softened, her expressions relaxed, and slowly, she began to resemble an actual angel.

Gentle, kind, pure… traits others attributed to her but she never believed belonged to her… perhaps these were her true nature after all—just hidden until she t soone she could genuinely trust.

It wasn't the nickna that was wrong. It was her na that didn't match her heart.

Leo, of course, knew none of this. He simply valued her potential.

After all, Incinerate Anthem—one of the Three Great Holy Relics—was a top-tier Sacred Gear, surpassing even Asuna's Blade Blacksmith in purifying and holy power. Its threat to devils was overwhelming, making it an ultimate weapon in the truest sense.

And Mahiru's talent after reincarnating as a devil was exceptional. Once Leo granted her the Bishop piece, her demonic power instantly surpassed Asuna and Utaha, becoming second only to Yukino.

Thanks to the Bishop's demonic power amplification trait, she reached the level of a Mid-Class Devil imdiately after reincarnation—roughly equal to Yukino's starting level. And being an honors student like Yukino, also ranked first in her grade, her learning ability was naturally top-tier.

So in Leo's hands-on training, she absorbed knowledge like a sponge.

But unlike Yukino, Mahiru focused primarily on her Sacred Gear rather than devil power.

Yukino's Sacred Gear and devil abilities complented each other—the stronger her demonic power, the stronger her Sacred Gear output.

Mahiru was the opposite. Her Sacred Gear was a Holy Relic—the highest rank of holy artifact. Not only did it not complent demonic power, it clashed with it. So she trained its purification and holy power directly, while treating her demonic power as nothing more than fuel for activation.

Unfortunately, Mahiru had been a devil for too short a ti, and unlike Utaha—who had perfect conditions for her Sacred Gear—Mahiru lacked natural compatibility. By the ti the weekend arrived, her control over Incinerate Anthem was still rough. She could only activate and retract it.

At that level, she couldn't even threaten a battle-hardened Mid-Class Devil. At best, she could bully Low-Class Devils with weak combat ability.

Even so, considering she reached that level in less than a week, Leo was genuinely satisfied.

Leo suspected that with her talent, she would soon catch up to Yukino and the others—becoming yet another powerful servant under his banner.

...…

Soon enough, the weekend arrived.

Before the rumors at Sobu High completely faded, the school welcod another break.

On Saturday, in the basent of Leo's manor, the Eligos servants gathered together.

"Is everyone ready?"

Leo looked at his four servants, and the corners of his lips lifted uncontrollably—admiring them like an artist admiring their masterpiece. There was unmistakable pride in his eyes.

And who could bla him?

Standing before Leo were his four servants—Yukino, Asuna, Utaha, and Mahiru—each one stunning in their own unique way.

All four had changed out of their school uniforms and into casual clothes.

Yukino wore a pale blue dress with pleated edges, its hem just below her knees. She paired it with sandals, a ribbon around her wrist, and her long black hair was tied into a single ponytail—radiating the refreshing elegance of a high school girl.

Asuna wore a white top and short skirt, complented by long socks and boots. Her hairstyle had changed slightly, and she wore a familiar necklace—simple yet refined, with the aura of a graceful young lady from a wealthy family.

Utaha wore a white headband and a stylish academy-inspired dress. White stockings covered her legs, and black shoes finished the look—her charm practically overflowing.

As for Mahiru, her outfit hardly differed from usual: a simple lace-edged top and a short skirt that showed her calves, white sneakers, and her long flaxen hair tied into two neat bundles in front. She looked impossibly pure—so angelic that nobody would guess she was a devil now.

The four beautiful girls stood together—each with their own beauty, aura, and style. Their looks, figures, and presence were impeccable. Combined with such carefully chosen outfits, they created a scene more dazzling than any painting.

Seeing this breathtaking lineup, how could Leo possibly keep his smile down?

And the thought that all these beautiful girls were his servants—how could he not feel proud?

"Don't look so smug." Yukino shot him a faint glare. "I know how you feel, but please rember what you said earlier. Don't embarrass the Eligos House, okay?"

"You really think you're that amazing, devil-kun?" Utaha folded her arms, smirking. "Managing to recruit all four of us—yes, that's pretty lucky of you."

"Is my outfit really okay, though?" Asuna looked a bit worried. "Won't it make the president look less respectable?"

"Don't worry, Asuna-senpai." Mahiru said gently. "You look beautiful dressed like this. Senpai's reaction already proves it."

Their voices overlapped—soft, cool, lively, elegant. The harmony was like a symphony, soothing to the ears.

"What? You think I'm not allowed to feel proud?" Leo laughed openly, not the slightest bit ashad. "With four beautiful girls as my servants, just imagining taking you all out to et others makes feel like my life is already complete. Isn't that reasonable?"

The girls didn't answer, but they all shared a quiet smile. Clearly, Leo's words pleased them.

And he wasn't wrong. Taking this lineup anywhere would never embarrass him.

Even if their destination was Kuoh Town's once-famous female academy, and even though Sona and Rias—along with their servants—were an abundance of beautiful won, Leo still didn't feel like he would lose in terms of presence.

With that thought, pride swelled in his chest, and he unconsciously swung his hand.

"Since everyone's ready, let's head out."

He stepped into the center of the magic circle first.

The girls exchanged a glance before stepping into formation—two on his left, two on his right.

Yukino and Utaha to the left. Asuna and Mahiru to the right. All slightly closer to him than normal, surrounding him like a protective formation—with Leo unmistakably at the center.

"Zing—"

The magic circle lit up as demonic power flowed into it.

Red light swallowed them, and their bodies dissolved into particles of light, vanishing from the manor.

In another room of the mansion, where she had been napping, Miyamoto Musashi's eyes snapped open.

"They've already gone?"

The beautiful swordswoman scratched her head and looked in the direction of Kuoh Town, her eyes flickering faintly.

"I don't know why… but I have a bad feeling about this."

Was it an illusion?

Or was sothing truly about to happen?

A swordsman's intuition was always sharp. After thinking it over, Musashi decided to act.

"Just in case… I'll notify the Underworld."

A small magic circle expanded above her palm as she began her transmission.

...…

Kanagawa Prefecture — Kuoh Town — Kuoh Academy — Student Council Office

At this mont, quite a few people had already gathered inside the office.

They stood separated into two groups, each clustered around a beautiful girl—clearly the center of their respective circles.

"Zing—"

When red light blood from the magic circle on the floor, one of the girls stood up.

"They're here."

Sona Sitri's calm announcent drew everyone's attention to the glowing center.

There—Leo and his servants appeared one after another, stepping into view.
