Chapter 340

The Undying Fla couldn’t mistake the face of the man replayed in the video. It was, without a doubt, Ronan Steele—the very person who had killed his brother. And now, he was seemingly standing there in the recording, right in front of the Fla Guild.

His cold smile sent chills creeping down the backs of many heroes present, their clothes slowly becoming damp with sweat.

The Undying Fla could already guess what this accursed being was doing in front of the Fla Guild. He could guess what would happen next. After all, the ruined remains of the Fla Guild were what had been left behind.

Yet he couldn’t bring himself to accept the possibility that a single man had reduced his entire guild to ruin.

There were so many A-Rankers and several hundred B-Rankers as well. The weakest heroes in the Fla Guild were rely a few C-Rankers who acted as guards around the guild’s stored resources.

Just thinking about the overwhelming combat power of the Fla Guild was enough to send chills down anyone’s spine.

And yet that overwhelmingly powerful guild was supposedly brought down by a single man.

No matter how Fla thought about the situation, he couldn’t make sense of it.

Surely there was no way Ronan Steele had single-handedly destroyed his entire guild. It simply made no sense.

After convincing himself that sothing else must have happened, perhaps that Ronan Steele had received outside assistance, he continued watching the recording.

Inside the video clip, Ronan Steele raised his gaze upward.

His chilling eyes t the guards who had already begun gathering their energy. The hostility they felt from this intruder was simply too great. They knew they needed to eliminate him before things got out of hand.

But before any of them could activate their respective skills—

Whoosh!

A sharp sound echoed in their ears.

Their eyes widened.

The intruder was suddenly standing atop the wall with them.

His dual swords had already been unsheathed.

Then he spoke a single word.

"Weak."

The five guards, each possessing power comparable to a low B-Ranker, suddenly felt terror grip their throats.

A thin line appeared across their necks.

Blood sprayed out in massive torrents.

Their eyes rolled back.

Their heads detached from their bodies and rolled across the ground while their corpses collapsed lifelessly behind them.

Everyone watching the video felt an icy hand grip their hearts.

Despite being high-ranking heroes themselves, they hadn’t even been able to see Ronan Steele’s movent.

Even Fla’s eyes darkened slightly.

Of course, he had managed to follow Ronan’s movent.

But even he had to admit one thing.

The man was fast.

Far too fast.

Still, that wasn’t the end of the video.

It was rely the beginning.

The recording continued.

After killing the five guards, Ronan remained standing on the edge of the wall. His smile was still brightly plastered across his face as he licked his lips while staring at the nurous high-ranking mbers of the Fla Guild who had erged.

Seeing the deaths of their comrades, rage instantly consud them.

Different skills activated almost simultaneously.

If there was one thing worth noting, it was the fact that many mbers of the Fla Guild possessed fire-type abilities.

Very fitting for a guild called the Fla Guild.

The air itself seed to tremble as blazing flas surged upward, scorching the atmosphere around them.

And yet, despite this overwhelming display of power, the figure identified as Ronan Steele rely looked down at them with amusent dancing in his eyes.

He crossed his swords before his chest, forming an X.

His lips curled upward slightly as he muttered two simple words.

"Let’s roll."

Then he moved.

Alone.

Straight toward the army of Fla Guild mbers.

Anyone witnessing such a scene would surely believe he was simply too arrogant.

There was no way one man could face an army of high-rankers.

That belief, however, lasted only until the battle began.

The mont combat started, it was as though hell itself had descended upon the Fla Guild in all its horrifying glory.

Flesh was torn apart within seconds.

Powerful armor was pierced as though it were nothing more than tofu before Ronan Steele’s dual blades.

Screams of terror, pain, and despair echoed throughout the halls of the Fla Guild as the dark-clad figure slaughtered every mber he encountered in the most horrifying ways imaginable.

So heroes attempted to flee.

That only made things worse.

They were hunted down like animals, tortured beneath his blades before finally having their heads severed.

Many mbers of the Fla Guild tried to escape.

None succeeded.

It was as though Ronan was teleporting from one location to another, appearing beside them and killing them one after another.

Of course, those who had watched the Tournant of Power imdiately recognized the skill responsible.

The Switch Skill.

"We can’t run away from him!"

"Everyone, fight!"

"Go all out!"

"Use every bit of energy you have left!"

"Release your strongest attacks!"

"Kill him!"

The heroes listened.

Since escape was impossible, they decided to gamble everything on one final assault.

Even if it ant dying.

The remaining mbers unleashed their attacks upon Ronan.

Yet the fate awaiting them was even worse.

The Undying Fla shut his eyes briefly, unable to continue watching the suffering of his subordinates.

They were being slaughtered in the most grueso ways imaginable.

And the man responsible continued onward with nothing but an amused smile on his face.

It was as though he was rely having fun rather than ending countless lives.

The destruction.

The screams.

The suffering.

Everything continued.

More and more guild mbers fell beneath Ronan Steele’s blades.

The massive Fla Guild headquarters was reduced to ruins as the battle entered its final phase.

The few surviving mbers no longer needed anyone to tell them the outco.

The evidence was right before their eyes.

The Fla Guild had lost.

An entire guild had been defeated by a single man.

But could this monster even be called a man?

Their exhausted gazes settled upon Ronan Steele, the very person who was supposed to be standing trial today.

And yet he was here.

Rampaging through their guild.

It made no sense.

Yet their eyes weren’t deceiving them.

This criminal must have sohow escaped Arc’s custody and co here seeking revenge against the guild whose leader had presided over his trial.

After all, the Fla Guild belonged to the Undying Fla.

The very man who had judged Ronan Steele.

This had to be revenge.

A high A-Ranker, a woman wielding flaming whips in both hands, stood battered and bruised.

She looked around.

At her dead companions.

At her destroyed workplace.

At the countless ruins surrounding her.

But wasn’t this too much?

Far too much.

This level of retaliation for a trial?

This monster had gone far beyond reason.

She raised her voice and shouted toward the man whose black clothing had long since been dyed crimson with blood.

"Do you think the world won’t find out about what you’ve done today, Ronan Steele?"

"And when they do, do you still think even the entire Tryst Guild will be able to protect you?"

Ronan didn’t answer imdiately.

Instead, he tilted his head sideways as though questioning what kind of nonsense she was talking about.

"You will pay for these atrocities with your life!"

"If no one else does it, Sir Fla certainly will!"

"He will make sure you pay for this cri!"

"Enough of your yapping."

Ronan rubbed the side of his ear as though he had just listened to sothing incredibly annoying.

Then he looked directly at her.

His voice erged cold, chilling, and oddly amused.

"What?"

"You think I’m scared of him?"

"You think I’m afraid of Fla?"

A grin slowly spread across his face.

"Now that’s where you’re greatly mistaken."

"I don’t need the help of my guild to reduce this entire guild to the ground."

"And I certainly won’t need it to kill Fla."

"Or anyone else foolish enough to stand against ."

The confidence in his voice caused the woman’s heart to tremble violently.

Her eyes widened.

Then she gritted her teeth.

The flas surrounding her whips surged even higher.

With a furious roar, she charged forward.

Ronan watched her approach with a gentle smile.

His swords ca together once more.

Then he spoke.

"As for your other concern..."

"I don’t feel any pity toward any of you."

"Why should I?"

His smile widened.

"After all..."

"You are all far too weak."
