In the deepest corridor of the military prison, the uniform tallic footsteps echoed.

A team of fully ard soldiers stopped in front of Gandalf's cell, and the heavy alloy door slowly opened with a grating sound.

Leading them was a middle-aged man with a hideous scar on his face.

His gaze was icy, devoid of any emotion.

“Gandalf, co with us.”

On the bed, Zhou Huai's consciousness quickly occupied the body of this Clone.

He sneered inwardly.

Marshal Zhao had just left, and soone was already so eager to make a move against him.

They couldn't wait a mont longer.

Zhou Huai, controlling Gandalf, sat up from the bed and calmly looked at the scar-faced man in the lead.

“Where are you planning to take ?”

The scar-faced man coldly uttered a few words: “Don't ask too many questions, you'll know when we get there.”

He took a step forward, his voice filled with unconcealed warning.

“I warn you not to make any small moves, otherwise, we have reason to execute you on the spot!”

Zhou Huai said no more.

Escorted by several soldiers, he walked out of the cold prison and boarded a fully enclosed military heavy truck.

The door closed, cutting off the last ray of outside light.

The sky gradually darkened, and night, like a huge black veil, slowly enveloped the Imperial Capital.

This military vehicle did not stop in the city; instead, it drove all the way out, into the desolate wilderness.

Inside the carriage, the atmosphere was suffocatingly oppressive.

Zhou Huai, controlling Gandalf, calmly swept his gaze over the dozen or so soldiers around him.

Each person's hand rested on their weapon, their eyes cold, revealing clear killing intent.

He suddenly spoke, breaking the deadly silence.

“Are you planning to kill ?”

The scar-faced man let out a cold snort.

“You colluded with an enemy country, causing the death of Principal Lin Zhu and so many Prodigies of Great Xia.”

“Do you really think the Marshal would let you off so easily?”

A soldier beside him chid in, his tone full of disgust.

“What if he's an SS-Class Professional? A sinner like you deserves to be torn to pieces!”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Huai chuckled softly.

“You speak with such righteous indignation.”

He turned his head, his gaze piercing the scar-faced middle-aged man like a sharp sword, as if to see through his very Soul.

“Your na is Chi Chong, isn't it?”

Chi Chong's pupils suddenly contracted.

Zhou Huai didn't give him a chance to react ❀ Nоvеlігht ❀ (Don’t copy, read here) and continued.

“A confidant of the Liu Family, it was Liu Qizhi, the eldest son of the Liu Family, who promoted you from an unknown nobody to the position of regint commander in the Central Thirty-Sixth Group Army.”

“Over the years, how many sordid things have you done for the Liu Family behind the scenes? How co you're suddenly acting like a patriotic middle-aged man now?”

Chi Chong's face instantly turned ashen, and fine cold sweat seeped from his forehead.

“You... how do you know?”

His voice beca hoarse from extre shock.

Zhou Huai ignored his gaffe, and his voice suddenly rose, like rolling thunder.

“You say I should be torn to pieces? I think your masters, the Liu Family, are the ones who should be torn to pieces!”

“Outwardly, they are conservatives, loudly proclaiming to maintain peace with Sakura Country.”

“But behind the scenes, how many resources have they secretly transferred to Sakura Country!”

“They are the true traitors colluding with the enemy!”

All this intelligence was pieced together by Zhou Huai over the past few days through Caesar's Information Bugs.

Most of the magic crystals that the Zhou Family dug out of the Secret Realm back then were transferred to Sakura Country by the Liu Family through secret channels.

Even Liu Yuru and her precious son had already been secretly sent to Sakura Country.

Their intentions were obvious.

They were preparing to betray their entire clan and secure their own retreat.

The killing intent in Chi Chong's eyes reached its peak at this mont.

He no longer pretended, roaring ferociously.

“Don't listen to his nonsense! Attack!”

In an instant, within the cramped space of the carriage, several soldiers simultaneously burst forth!

Cold light flickered in their hands, and various weapons, with a deadly whistle, struck at Gandalf's vital points from all directions!

However, just as those weapons were about to touch Gandalf's body.

The entire interior of the military vehicle was, without warning, completely enveloped in an extre darkness.

There were no screams, no struggles.

Only a deadly silence.

Screech—!!!

On the wilderness road, the military heavy truck let out a violent and ear-piercing screech of brakes.

Then, it abruptly ca to a sudden stop by the roadside, like a dead object, no longer making any sound.

The engine stalled, the headlights went out.

After a long ti, the interior of the vehicle remained as calm as ever, and no one was seen getting out.

It was then that dozens of dark figures, under the cover of the deep night, erged like ghosts from the shadows of the wilderness, silently surrounding the stationary military vehicle.

The leader of the team was a man with eyes as sharp as an eagle's.

He looked at the silent truck, his brows tightly furrowed, and an ominous premonition rose in his heart.

According to the plan, Chi Chong and his subordinates would send a signal after dealing with the target.

But now, there was no movent from inside the vehicle.

He no longer hesitated and quickly made a tactical gesture.

In the team, several Professionals dressed in mage robes imdiately understood; they pulled out their staves and began chanting Spells.

The magical elents in the air began to fluctuate violently, and several destructive Spells were about to take shape.

They were actually preparing to blast the military vehicle, along with everyone inside, into fragnts!

However, just then.

A faint “buzzing” sound quietly rang in their ears.

A small cluster of inconspicuous flying insects had, at so unknown ti, quietly arrived beside them.

Under the cover of night, these Professionals, fully focused on preparing their Spells, did not notice them at all.

Just as the mages' skills were about to be unleashed!

These flying insects, without any warning, began to self-destruct!

Boom—!!!

The first explosion erupted right next to a mage's ear!

Followed by the second, the third, the countless!

Dense explosions, like a lit death prelude, instantly resounded among the crowd!

“Ah—!!!”

Piercing screams broke the tranquility of the wilderness.

This sudden attack gave no one present any ti to prepare!

Those frail mages and assassin-type Professionals, without even a chance to utter a single scream, were torn to shreds in the first wave of explosions!

The healing-type Professional in the team had just raised his staff, but before he could chant a healing syllable, his arms were blown off by the violent energy, and he fell to the ground screaming, groaning in pain.

Several thick-skinned tank Professionals roared, activating their defensive skills, attempting to withstand this wave of attack.

But how could the self-destruct power, enough to kill a Hell-level BOSS, be sothing they could resist?

The sturdy shields shattered instantly like paper.

Their bodies were also completely engulfed by the endless explosion of fire in the next second.

The leading captain, seeing the unfavorable situation, had a face full of horror and fear.

Without thinking, he turned and prepared to flee, shouting hoarsely.

“Retreat! Retreat!”

As soon as he turned his head, his pupils suddenly constricted to the size of pinpricks.

Another large swarm of dark flying insects, like the grim reaper, had already flown in front of him.

Even denser explosions erupted.

This ti, there were no more screams.

Flas soared into the sky, illuminating the wilderness as if it were dayti.

After the explosion, only dozens of charred deep pits remained on the ground, and the nauseating sll of burning filled the air.

No one survived.

At this mont, the rear door of the closed military vehicle, which had been stationary, slowly opened.

Zhou Huai, controlling Gandalf, stepped out of the vehicle.

He was covered in blood, but not a single drop was his own.

Inside the carriage, Chi Chong and his subordinates lay in grueso states, their faces forever frozen in the final monts of terror and bewildernt.

Zhou Huai glanced at the chaotic and tragic scene outside the car, letting out a sowhat relieved sigh.

“To deal with Gandalf, they only sent this much military force. Are they underestimating an SS-Class Professional too much?”

He looked up at the bright moon in the night sky.

In his eyes, however, there was a bone-chilling coldness.

“Since you have made your move, it's my turn to retaliate.”
