Jay had learned from experience—not to set his sights on specific rewards too soon. Once, he'd desired the ORIGIN Glaive right before receiving a random reward, only to find himself stuck, unable to use any points until he had enough Universe Points to buy the weapon. Though it had been worth it in the end, the wait and inability to spend his points had been frustrating.
This ti, he converted both Acheivent rewards into Universe Points, watching his total rise to an impressive 2,300. Satisfied with that, he turned his focus to sothing even more exciting: the effects of refining his body with Origin Energy.
Each cycle of Origin Physique refinent granted him stats in both his Primary and Secondary Status windows. Initially, his overall stats in║LOOTED STATUS║were capped at 1,000 due to the 1st Universe Limit—a limit that only a handful of people had broken without advancing their Mastery from Minor to Major.
Normally, breaking through this limit required Stage-4 Mastery, but Jay had done so while still at Tier-2, defying all norms.
Upon surpassing this intangible limit, he felt sothing that everyone who breaks through the 1st Universe Limit would experience—a vastness opening up before him. It was as if the sky had once marked the edge of his potential, but now he could see beyond it.
The sensation was indescribable. He'd heard Akor and Rex speak of it, but feeling it himself was sothing else entirely. A profound connection to the universe surrounded him, as though the very fabric of reality was calling, urging him to grow stronger and promising a greatness beyond anything he'd imagined.
With the Universe Limit no longer a barrier, Jay set aside his awe and swiftly allocated his Undistributed Looted Stats to his secondary Status and watched them surge.
His stats, capped at 1,000 before, rapidly shot past 2,000, then surpassed 2,500 before finally stabilizing at 2,868—a figure precisely triple the stats he currently held in his Primary Status.
Jay wasn't surprised; he already knew that the overall stats in his secondary Status could reach up to three tis the total of his primary Status.
A typical lifeform reaching Tier-5 would have around 3,500 overall stats, while a peak Tier-4 would hover around 2,500. In INVERSE mode, Jay's stats placed him sowhere in between.
However, these stats weren't his ceiling. With each cycle of refining his Origin Physique, he would gain more stats, continuously strengthening both his Primary and Secondary Status windows.
Furthermore, Jay still had yet to undergo his Tier-3 Evolution, and the boost it would bring to his stats would only expand the overall looted stats he could use during INVERSE mode.
With renewed determination, he sat cross-legged, focusing as he guided a unit of Origin Energy from the Origin Glaive, which currently existed as a tattoo on his skin.
A faint strand of silver energy erged from the tattoo, and Jay carefully channeled it through his body, weaving it through every muscle, bone, and organ before directing any residual energy into his dantian.
The entire process took ten minutes, and by the end, sweat rolled down his face. The focus required to complete even one cycle of refinent was intense, yet Jay noted a slight improvent—this second cycle was a bit smoother than his first.
With two cycles completed, two looted stats were added to each of his five attributes, and it had taken only twenty minutes.
For now, Jay didn't feel any noticeable improvent, but he wasn't discouraged. According to the knowledge embedded within the║ORIGIN PHYSIQUE║, the first qualitative change would co after completing ten cycles. So, he continued the grueling process, ignoring the ntal exhaustion that grew with each refinent.
An hour and a half later, Jay opened his eyes and was imdiately struck by the sight of dark impurities coating his skin, seeping out from his pores. The process was purging toxins and waste from his body, leaving him feeling lighter and more energized.
His skin had toughened, becoming harder and more resilient, while his internal organs grew stronger, and his senses heightened. His entire body experienced a qualitative improvent.
In many ways, it was reminiscent of the transformation he'd experienced just after his first Evolution on Day-2.
Moreover, his cultivation yielded unexpected rewards: beyond the 50 stats gained from the initial 10 refinent cycles, an additional 50 looted stats had been added to his primary Status, totaling 100 new stats across his five main attributes.
This was equivalent to the boost he'd gained from Tier-1 growth and his Evolution to Tier-2 combined, a welco surprise that had him marveling at the potential of his third Innate Exclusive Skill.
If this was just from reaching the Rudintary threshold, Jay could only imagine what lay ahead at the next three thresholds.
Without delay, he cleaned himself up and resud his cultivation, noting that each cycle flowed more smoothly, requiring less effort. With his body now accustod to refining Origin Energy, he was able to push forward with ease. After two and a half hours, he completed 15 more cycles, crossing into the Minor Threshold of 25 refinent cycles.
Opening his eyes, Jay experienced a sense of déjà vu, his skin once again coated in the dark, sticky residue of purged impurities. The effects of this milestone, however, were even more significant than before.
Including the 50 bonus stats from reaching the Minor Threshold, his total stat gain reached 150, granting him 30 additional points in each of his five main attributes.
The overall stats in his Primary Status now stood at 1,206—on par with soone who had just entered Tier-4. It had been a long while since Jay had seen such rapid progress in his stats. He'd been stuck at the 1,000-stat bottleneck since Day-6, relying instead on converging elents to create higher elents and pushing his skills to compensate.
But now, with the Universe Limit broken, he could finally raise his stats beyond those of any Alpha Chosen, transforming what had once been a limitation into a core asset.
Jay glanced at the cooldown tir for INVERSE mode, which had reset just a few minutes earlier. He felt an itch to try it, especially now that he no longer had to use it sparingly.
Containing his excitent, Jay took a long bath, washing away the impurities left by his cultivation. Once refreshed, he made his way to the largest closed training ground in the Earth's Foothold, a space reserved exclusively for him.
