The elderly then led them towards a wooden boat that materialized with a simple touch of his wooden staff. As soon as they were aboard, the boat floated gracefully in the air, ready to transport them to their destination, which was apparently back to the Hyperion center.
They went toward one of the enclosed rooms where Ery was surprised to recognize the person they were about to et—an influential and powerful grand magus, Headmaster Delbrand.
"Ery, good to see you again," the grand magus greeted with a warm smile.
