Ascending into the sky, they were soon picked up by the Nova ship. After a few hours, the anticipated envoy arrived—an official Magus Alliance officer, an older magus who ca along with his staff.
"I am Nathan. My task here is to survey this base, and I hope for your cooperation," introduced the middle-aged Crescent Magus, showing proper identification and maintaining an unthreatening deanor. He spent half a day ticulously taking notes before departing, assuring that he would return for another survey in a few months.
Captain Terrador clarified that such surveys were standard to ensure Ery, the new caretaker, fulfilled his responsibilities. Despite this explanation, the timing of the visit fueled Ery's suspicions that there might be more at play behind the scenes.
To add to his suspicions, just a day after the envoy's departure, the long-awaited ssage from the Kronos arrived, indicating their readiness and accepting his demand to trade with the captive..
Ery accepted the ssage with a calm determination, and, exuding confidence, he sent a reply.
"I will deliver her myself," he declares, intending to visit Kronos' ho planet.
