The lunar surface was transford into a battleground, marked by a series of escalating clashes. With every collision, craters were carved into the moon's desolate terrain, and moon rocks were catapulted into the vastness of space. The duel between Ery and the pirate chieftain, Gaizan, unfolded with a ferocity that left an indelible mark on the lunar landscape.

Gaizan's massive double-edged sword, crackling with the power of lightning, produced formidable manifestations in the form of fierce tigers with each sweeping slash. In response, Ery skillfully wielded his [Dao Edge], generating pulsating blasts that rippled through the vacuum of space. His [Void Blade] ca into play, countering the onslaught with precision and finesse.

In the midst of close combat, neither combatant yielded, resulting in a symphony of strikes and parries that left both sides with moderate wounds. A relentless exchange of a hundred clashes persisted for nearly half an hour, yet Ery remained defiant, standing tall against the relentless assault.

To Gaizan's dismay, the stalemate defied his expectations. Being on equal footing with a halfmoon magus from the lower realm was a reality he found inconceivable. Ery seized the opportunity as he noticed the growing irritation in the pirate chieftain. The more emotional Gaizan beca, the more openings Ery discovered. In a bid to expedite the conclusion of the battle, Ery continued to taunt the pirate chieftain, exploiting the cracks forming in his opponent's composure.

"If you admit your loss, I am willing to let you and your n return to your pirate hole,"

In response, the tiger-faced pirate scoffed, "Huh! Try to play mind gas with !! I can do the sa!"

The 600-year-old pirate chieftain, Gaizan, impervious to psychological manipulation. Consud by anger, he harnessed the power of his domain, unleashing a torrential lightning storm that crackled ominously in the lunar sky above the moon base. Ery quickly discerned the true intent behind Gaizan's dramatic showcase. The pirate chieftain had strategically employed his domain to create the lightning storm, not rely as a display of power but as a tactical move to disrupt the moon base's energy barrier. In re seconds, Ery comprehended the impending threat, a full-scale assault on the moon base, utilizing the storm to interfere with the formation of the protective barrier.

As the pirate ship descended successfully within the lunar periter, it imdiately unleashed a barrage of energy blasts aid at the moon base. Simultaneously, a cohort of pirates soared out from the ship, each one a formidable magus. Among them were two dozen saint-level magus, four crescent moon magus, two half-moon magus, and two full-moon magus. This eclectic assembly of magical prowess spread out strategically, targeting critical weapon systems of the moon base with precision and purpose. The lunar battleground erupted into chaos as the pirate forces executed their calculated assault, exploiting the vulnerability created by the disruption of the energy barrier.

The overwhelming force proved to be a challenge for Chumo even with the assistance of the moon base's high-grade defense systems. On the other hand, The pirate chieftain strategically kept Ery close, preventing him from intervening and further escalating the chaos.

"You lost!" Gaizan taunted with a haughty laugh, reveling in the perceived victory.

Amidst this chaos, Ery received a distressing ssage from Akasha, detailing the relentless massacre of the dragon forces by the second grand magus. Faced with escalating crises on multiple fronts, Ery knew it was ti to deploy his hidden card. Bringing both hands together, he began casting a spell that coalesced into a mysterious orb.

Perplexed, Gaizan questioned, "What is that? Space? Gravity?! None could stop !" Undeterred, Ery maintained his concentration, channeling the chaotic power into the orb. Initially amused, the pirate chieftain decided to take action as he charged towards Ery.

Ery, swift and elusive, executed a [Blink], dodging away and reappearing above, near the enemy spaceship. Enraged, Gaizan bellowed, "Fuck!! You want to destroy my ship!!!!" The ship held so sentintal value for pirates, and Gaizan, unwilling to see it destroyed, dashed towards it while urgently calling upon his n to join. Seizing the mont, Ery swiftly communicated a command to Master Borin,

"Initiate gravitation field, maximum power."

This marked the activation of the second function of the energy barrier, the [B13-Gravity Shield]. The shield could emanate a powerful gravitational force within the designated area. Instantly, all the magus inside the field felt the intensified gravitational pressure, hindering their advance. However, Gaizan, being a grand magus was almost unaffected, he pressed forward, closing in on Ery with a chuckle.

"I was such a fool to be worried by stupid lower realm like you," he sneered.

As Gaizan approached, Ery's orb underwent a transformation, causing the pirate chieftain's expression to shift from confidence to shock. Ery was skillfully channeling the gravitational power from the barrier into the orb.

"What... what are you doing!?" Gaizan exclaid.

Ery remained calm as he released the orb, offering a nonchalant reply, "Like you said, I am a fool." The orb underwent a swift transformation, evolving into a formidable anomaly of space—a [Black Hole].

Ery's knowledge of the spell had roots in his encounter with Zenonia, but he lacked the strength to cast it. With his Primal core slowly recovering, he began experinting with the spell. Utilizing the knowledge from VIA, he discovered a way to enhance the gravitational strength by incorporating the energy barrier. The result was a formidable tier 8 spell.

The destructive force of the Black Hole was instantaneous. It devoured the entire pirate ship, rcilessly pulling all the saint-level pirates into its ominous void. Even as the chieftain attempted to counter with his domain power, his magus were gradually drawn into the void.

Hysterical screams of powerful magus pirates were silenced one by one. Even the formidable full moon magus succumbed to the overwhelming force. Only a lone female full moon magus managed to resist the pull, albeit at the significant cost of breaking her life-saving artifact.

In the imdiate vicinity of the anomaly, the grand magus frantically burned every ounce of his power to defy the relentless pull of the Black Hole. Ery, on the verge of achieving victory, poured all his concentration into maintaining the spell. Yet, just as success seed imminent, the energy from the barrier supporting the spell was depleted, abruptly severing the gravitational force.

"Dammit! Just a little bit more!" Ery exclaid in frustration, ready to deliver the final blow to the pirate chieftain. However, his focus was swiftly redirected as he observed a figure, engulfed in a bright fla, rapidly closing in from Earth. It was the unmistakable presence of the second grand magus.
