"We demand your absolute surrender, and Queen Soonhee's hand in marriage to one of our kings," they declared, shalessly presenting the queen with the illusion of choice, as if rejection was not an option.
The desperation that had gripped Queen Soonhee in the days leading up to this mont beca apparent. She had known that her kingdom faced grave danger, and her fervent desire had been that her father's recovery would dissuade the other kingdoms from such bold moves.
